• Stream 7 (5709): flow 7/Miracasting (mirror screen) on Windows 10

  I can't miracasting to work on my 7 stream even if all my drivers are updated and other devices (laptop 10 Windows and Windows Phone 8.1) on my network are able to use it. It is not 'see' my wireless display (roku), although it looks if I search for other devices.

  Does anyone else have this problem? If it works for you, what version of the Intel Graphics driver WLAN driver and do you use?

  I bought a used HP Jet 7 5709 Signature edition and want to create a USB stick recovery before doing an Upgrade to 10 win or forced to upgrade. Can someone tell me how this can be done. I advised to buy a because it would cost more than the tablet itself and can't understand why I can't create a recovery Partition it. thanks in advance!

  Hi, you can go to the control panel => recovery.  There are also instructions here.  You already tried that and it doesn't work?
  
  You would need to an OTG adapter and a 8 GB USB key to create the recovery media.

  Can I download a program on a cd via an external cd drive connected to the port of loading (using a converter OTG usb microphone to the USB standard).  Minimum space required is 46 MB.  I have 18 GB available.  Just not sure that this tablet can manage the installation of external programs.  Program works great on my 2 other Windows PC 8.1

  It will work perfectly. A windows Tablet behaves just like a laptop. Like a laptop, you can use a USB DVD-ROM drive to install stuff on the disc.

  To clarify this more, the error "Windows can not be installed because this PC uses a compressed operating system." was apparently introduced with the latest Windows build 10 9926 released 23 January 2015.  It was possible to do an upgrade of a Windows system with Windows 8.1 WIMBoot previous 10 relies, I have made a on the Stream 7 last month.

  I expect that there will be a fix for the build 9926 or at least a fix for the final version of Windows 10 to allow the upgrade in place since a large number of customers with WIMBoot probably want to update without wipe their hard drives.

• Tablet-Stream 7-5709: battery problems and bitlocker guest

  The problem of the battery does not charge properly and now I'm wondering the bitlocker code whenever I have to turn off the tablet.

  When the Tablet is turned on, Windows is running and it is plugged, the tablet will not load. It never shows the compressed load and after a while, the battery will stop and the Tablet turns off. While it is turned off, plug the Tablet into causes the charge icon will blink. If the battery still has some power left in charge icon lights up for about 10 seconds, turn off for 2 seconds lights up for 10 seconds, turn off for 2 seconds and continue to do this for a while unitl it just stops. If the battery has been emptied before that happens the same thing off the power except for the icon to load time of stay is a fraction of a second.

  I went into the menu diagnostics and completed of the rapid and Extensive tests. Has been correctly executed without error, but not the case in the diagnostics menu it shows battery when it is plugged.

  I tried to put this before, but it does not show on the forum.

  When the Tablet is turned off and you first plug the charger, you should see the pictogram of loading on the screen for 10 seconds and then disappear for the rest of the time the charger is connected.  If you see something different, the Tablet may be damaged if you have checked that the charger and cable are good.

  Others here have noted the pictogram charge flashing and it turned out to be a faulty Tablet unfortunately.

  I have a 64 GB card installed, because I had one not used.  Format to NTFS, exFAT, all are taken in charge and all 64 GB is recognized.

  If you have a weak Wi - Fi signal or interference from a device nearby, like a microwave or baby monitor, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that you use the recommended settings of your Wi-Fi router.
  2. Move or disable other devices that may cause interference.
  3. If possible, connect your Apple TV directly to your router with an Ethernet cable instead of using Wi - Fi.

  Your AirPlay connection may if interrupt prematurely when you lock your device, put it to sleep, or switch to a different application.

  I tried to move photos from my iPhone to my iMac.  I connected my iPhone to my iMac.  613 photos to import.  Photos of 613 were in my camera.  I have 974 photos in my iPhone photo stream.  What is the difference between the film and my photo stream.  We should I import to save the photos from my iPhone to my iMac and then transfer them to an external hard drive.  Thanks for your comments and help.

  Camera Roll is home to these photos taken on your iPhone.  Those are the ones that must be imported.

  Photo stream is similar to iCloud photo library and is home to the photos that are already able to share.  They are not necessarily taken on the device that houses.

  This isn't an option - if you use MyPhotoStream then everything added to yoru Mac us downloaded and while PhotosStream is downloaded and imported as documented - there is no feature of selectivity in option
