  • Hi, I installed a set of creative cloud including Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit Windows)... does not work

I have a Windows 64 bit HP laptop that I removed and installed several times a CC package which includes PS, Illinois, LR, InD and Adobe Acrobat Pro.   Everything installs fine and works fine except for

Adobe Acrobat Pro. For somereason it says it is installed but it does not appear when I try to find it.   In the programs, it shows as installed but it does not appear with the appropriate icon of Adobe.   It's as if there is a problem of copatibility.  Ideas?

    Hello

I have corrected the problem.   Apparently with the subscription of creative cloud the

Adobe Acrobat Pro installs the same way other products

install.  Once downloaded the package you have to go the

'Exceptions' folder which is part of the generation and install it then

    it.

    Thank you

  • Need Adobe Acrobat XI Pro 32-bit

I need adobe acrobat pro 32-bit xi. I searched it upward in line, but it was only 64-bit. After that I understand, I'll buy it if I really like it. If this isn't the case, I'll stick to Adobe Reader.

    Hi Shubham,

You can download Acrobat Pro XI from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html and the XI version is developed only in 32-bit only. It is not available in 64-bit.

    Thank you

  • 32-bit installed on the 64-bit computer?  Acrobat Pro DC

Make a trial of Acrobat Pro DC on my book of Microsoft Surface, all initiated from the Adobe site.

Noticed the installed version is 32-bit, but it should be 64-bit. Don't want to click on 'buy' if he'll let me the wrong version. Please notify. Thank you.

Turns out that Acrobat Pro DC is only available in 32-bit for Windows. There is a 64 bit version for Mac. Seems silly, but that's how it is. From the Adobe site:

Yes. Acrobat runs as a 64-bit Mac application. Acrobat on Windows is a 32-bit application that can run and has been tested on 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10, and Windows Server 2008 and 2012.

  • Acrobat Pro Preflight abandons analysis with 'insufficient memory' on 64-bit Windows 7 despite the free/available memory

In fact, the question is not if there is enough physical memory on your system, but if Acrobat has exhausted its 32-bit address space. Acrobat on Windows (32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows) is still a 32-bit application, limited to about 4 GB of address space maximum virtual memory , which by your screenshots, is exhausted.

You don't specify what version of Acrobat Pro, you are running, but before DC Acrobat (i.e., Acrobat 11 and earlier versions), it was relatively easy to run out of virtual memory when using control upstream against long, complex, or the two long and complex PDF.

If you run Acrobat 11 or earlier, the only solution is to upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC in which many aspects of preflight have been significantly updated including support for long and complex documents and performance.

If you use Acrobat Pro DC, I would personally like you to contact me via a message in these forums the details so that I can help analyze what is happening. If there are still issues in Acrobat Preflight DC, we would fix it if possible.

  • Why I can't install downloaded Acrobat XI Pro on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Downloaded Adobe Pro XI. Will not install on my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit pc. Get the message stating that the program is 32 bit and not compatible. I can only assume that the exe tries to load Acrobat in the folder 'Program folder' of 64 bits, and not the "Program Files (x 86)" folder for 32-bit applications. What can I do? Try to download another? Download the trial version and use the serial number that I got? If I can force the exe file to load in the (x 86) folder? Appreciate your help.

Thank you both for responding. Solved the problem with the Online Chat Help. Re-uploaded the file from Adobe (essentially the previous suggestion of the post, but not the trial version). Agency of Online Chat stayed with me through the download, installation and launch the program. Best estimate is that the initial download has been altered somehow. All right.

  • Acrobat Pro 7 version on Window 7 64-bit system

I recently updated my laptop a gateway 2005 XP on a HP Pavilion M7-1015dx Windows 7 version.  I disabled the Acrobat Pro version 7 bridge and installed on the HP.  After installation, the activation worked without difficulty, but every time I check the updates, I get the message "Reboot required" "you must reboot the system before you process multiple updates."  After several attempts and reboots, should what steps I take in order to get the updates?

The download is probably appropriate. However, I suspect you'll ever AA7 for work in the 64-bit environment, at least without 32-bit compatibility setting. Do not expect AcroTray to work at all. If you AA7 work, you might have to change the printer driver to print to file and open it files in Distiller to get a PDF file. This is the process on a 32-bit computer for older versions of the AA. As far as I know, nobody has nothing more old than AA8 working on a 64-bit computer.

  • Acrobat Pro XI - how to check the 32-bit x 64?

The box only remarks shows Adobe Acrobat XI v.11.0.06

  • Disabling "Click to Play" in all: config does not not for Acrobat Pro 10

"I'm having a problem of disabling ' click to Play", the function that displays the gray screen inviting you to activate a plugin before proceeding further. By clicking on "Allow and remember" doesn't seem to work, because I always see the screen, even if I visit the same site.

I set the plugins.click_to_play option to false in: config, but I still don't screen "Click to Play".

I'm trying to view the PDF files in the browser itself * WITHOUT * the trigger for the game screen popping up everytime, which ages quite quickly. Can someone help, please?

The plugin in question is Adobe Acrobat Pro version 10. I have the reader on your computer as well (v 11). I prefer to use the reader to view the PDF files, it is more common, but I can't make it work in Firefox, despite all the operations described in the relevant sections of the KB and the options dual control in Acrobat Pro and reader. Therefore, I'm stuck with Acrobat Pro, which is older and so the problem with the incessant "click to Play" screens.

See if you have these two, and if you can get rid of the Acrobat one:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MozillaPlugins\Adobe Acrobat

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MozillaPlugins\Adobe Reader

You can always export all first before deletion in case you want to re - import later.

Note: If anyone reads that it is a 32-bit Windows user, check under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MozillaPlugins instead.

  • New installation on windows 7 pro 64-bit sees not connected wired Officejet 6500 E710a-f

    Hello!

New installation of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on a gigahertz 3.40 AMD Phenom II X 4 965 with 8 GB of ram. Printer drivers worked on the same bench while he was running as Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.
After only install FF, AVG, and Acrobat (almost a clean install), downloaded the software HP Officejet full feature and pilot 2012-10-22, Version: 116,98, 28.8 M - OJ6500_E710n - z_1315.exe and tried to install the Officejet 6500 E710a f.

The printer has a manually set static IP and can be ping from the host. Clean Windows Firewall is disabled and stopped.

The web interface using the IP address of the printer comes with all the features works on FF.
Network status shows connected with IP address, hostname and Mac.

However, when installing the network audit is no ethernet connection. Even manually enter his public static IP address or hostname does not solve the problem.

Try the USB, the same question option. I see in Device Manager under other devices HPOfficejet 6500 and 6500 HPOfficejet - Fax with a blue questionmark.
(In the same "other devices" there are 2 Officejet 6500 with a yellow exclamation point - probably from failed network installation).

In the printers and devices window, the 6500 is displayed with the correct thumbnail, but with a yellow exclamation point icon. Law and by selecting the convenience store, Windows comes up with the message that no driver is installed and offers a solution.  The correction ends with the error that no drivers not found for the FAX. Re-apply the patch never finds the driver.

Anyone who has met something similar (and a solution)?

    Thanks for any help!

    Jack

After trying to do an install clean-install of 100% and once again, the driver software could not find the printer name or IP address.
Back at each stage, I noticed that I was not using the correct driver! For some reason I D/L the pilot E710n which is for HP Officejet 6500 a Plus e-All-in-One.
Whatever the difference, when installing the E710n for the model does not detect the printer, or via USB or Ethernet.
After you download the right driver for the E710a - f HP Officejet 6500 a e-All-in-One Printer (OJ6500_E710a - f_1315.exe) installation perfectly finished in a few minutes and everything goes well...

You would think, base or USB connectivity network should not be dependent on the specific differences sub-model. I was expecting that a bad driver interrogate the device after finding its IP address and display an error message with useful text.

  • Installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on PC Windows 10 - Patch problem

    Hello

A quick check of my Adobe account reveals that I purchased Abobe Acrobat IX (9) Pro in 2010, and then either purchased or upgraded to XI (11) Pro level in 2013.  These were installed on a PC running Windows 7.  I recently bought a PC running Windows 10 / 64-bit and want to reinstall Pro XI.  I did a fresh download of the installer Pro XI.  However, when I tried to install it, I get an error message saying "this patch package could not be opened.  Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package. "Can someone help me solve this?  Some things to note:

    • I'm not sure if the XI (11) Pro in 2013 was a completely new software package or just an upgrade of the IX (9) Pro software.  If the latter, I should install IX (9) first Pro?
    • I am currently using the Microsoft Edge browser that comes with the PC running Windows 10.  I don't know if it meets the conditions for the installation of XI (11) Pro https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/system-requirements-acrobat-family-products.html.

    Thank you

Unfortunately, it did not work.  I opted for a subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC which has installed without any problem and seems to work correctly.

  • Acrobat Pro DC and 365 customers shared SharePoint insiders, but the server does not not to the evaluators

    The basics:

    Windows 7 (64-bit)

Acrobat Pro DC (to organize shared reviews)

SharePoint Office 365 (to accommodate the shared review)

Acrobat Pro XI (for customers who try to read shared review)

I've implemented a subweb on our server SharePoint 365 following all the instructions provided in this article:

Accommodation of the shared reviews on sites SharePoint or Office 365 with Acrobat

My colleagues receive permissions change for the SharePoint site, subsite, and a document library dedicated "SharedView."

I opened a PDF file for shared review using Acrobat Pro DC and invited two colleagues to review; time with a link and once with an attachment.

I am able to add comments to the file and discovered the Tracker review, get updates, etc, and everything seems to work properly. The server status is 'green '.

However, when my colleagues try to access the files, they get a response that the server is not responding.

"Could not get new comments. Acrobat received no response from the server. Try again later or contact your system administrator. »

With the accessory, they can open and add comments, but cannot post comments to the server. When I check the State I don't see that they have accepted the review.

I was not able to reason on what else could interfere with their access to the SharedReview server. I noticed that they seem to only have Acrobat Pro XI and not only Adobe Reader. I don't think that would be a problem, as the only drive should be enough.

What other diagnoses is available for this process?

I wanted to report that I was able to implement a reviewer with Adobe Reader DC (free version) and using Acrobat Pro DC undertook a review via SharePoint 365, invite them. It was done through link, not an attachment.

They were able to open control file, see comments, I had already added, made their own observations and posted comments. Mind you, this is a test that is very limited by two users and a few comments. But even if it does not before.

I don't have a notification in my tracker, I had to open directly and look for open comments. Then I was able to open the file the comments Get command and voila another evaluator's comments were incorporated as well as mine. It worked!

I think the handshakes and signs are suspect, notifications do not work properly, but we can work around that.

So it seems that all participants in Adobe Acrobat shared comments via SharePoint 365, must use a version of "DC" of Acrobat or Reader. Acrobat Pro DC to initiate, CD, to contribute to the review.

This is a problem for all our reviewers on Abobe Reader DC (few have administrator rights), but at least she is promising to work in a limited test.
