  • IdeaPad Y500 "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking".

    Hello

I have problems with my recently purchased Lenovo Ideapad Y500 because it is impossible to connect to the internet. As a first step, the connection worked well and I managed to set up the connection Wireless using an ethernet cable.

The problems started when I installed the F-Secure virus/firewall program - in the middle of the installation process (some time after the installation tool uninstalled MacAfee default program) the laptop became unresponsive. First of all everything except the background color disappeared, then the screen went completely empty and the laptop has not responded to other buttons. I waited for about 20 minutes until what I pressed the button for a few seconds in order to stop the laptop.

The laptop rebooted normally, and the installation of F-Secure program was still underway. However, because the laptop had been closed at halfway, I decided to cancel the installation and re-install the program. I removed the parts installed with Control Panel tools, to realize that the wireless internet from the laptop disappeared.

The laptop detects all connections; the network group says no connection is available. Previously, before the strange white screen problem, the Panel showed several nearby wi - fi networks. When I try to connect via the Network Center and sharing, I get only "Windows does not detect any networking hardware." Connect the ethernet cable (connected to the modem/router) makes no difference.

I managed to solve this problem. For some reason, the pilots of two network components have been updated but did not work, so I did a restore on those, the question of fixing.

  • After re-installing Vista: error message "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking".

On another thread Microsoft Answers, I was advised to do an "inplace upgrade" to Vista to solve a problem I had with the opening of Word documents.

I followed the instructions but was unable to do the upgrade in place of Vista.

(The 'Upgrade' option has been blocked during the installation process.  And there is no other choice available "Troubleshooting", even if the directions had mentioned that this could be an option.  There is no workaround solution mentioned about how to proceed where it upgrade when the 'upgrade' option has been blackened.)

So, I did a clean install of Vista - after saving all my files on an external drive, of course.

This fixed the initial problem that I ask.

Now, however, I can't access the internet after you complete this process.  I tried via wireless and services to broadband.

Reads the error message: "Windows doesn't detect any hardware networking."

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

The computer you are using now if you have an Internet connection with the other > download / save drivers > copy them into Flash Drive > transfer / install on another computer/laptop.

    See you soon.

On a different computer, go to your computer manufacturers website, add the name of the template in the search bar of support page and download all the drivers.

Place it on a USB stick and install the drivers first network so that you can get online.

I have a brilliant new Ultrabook here who is dead in the water. No quick fix for this, or I need this downgrade to Windows 8.1?

    SOLVED

On a hunch, I suspected that my installation of the Cisco VPN Client (my version is 5.0.07.0440) could cause problems. I tried to uninstall, which failed in Windows 10. I restored my install of Windows 10 on Windows 8.1, managed the Cisco VPN client uninstall and reinstalled Windows 10 and I have the network capacity in Windows 10 now.

  • My laptop cannot detect wireless networks after using the Windows Update service. Technical support, very desperate need.

I have an ASUS Intel Core i3 - 2350M CPU @ 2.30 GHZ running Windows 7 home premium. I've selected "Windows Update" in the start menu and proceeded to download and install all updates. Device Manager indicates 802.11n Wireless LAN Card is working properly.

I have reset my router but my laptop doesn't detect a network and there are usually 10 in the region and it shows nothing. My router is fine, as I use it now with my playstation.
Please I really need help, how do I get my laptop to detect the wireless network. If someone could give me a few steps to do, please.

Most laptops have a switch that turns the wifi radio on or off.  Often, it is a combination of the Fn key and one of the F keys.  It may be a physical switch somewhere on the laptop.  See your manual for details.

    If this isn't the problem...

What is the brand and model of your router?  Almost all wifi routers also have at least one Ethernet port, you can connect your computer to the router with an Ethernet cable and download the right driver for your http://www.asus.com/support wireless card
Have you tried to "Roll back driver" in the "Driver" tab of your adapter wifi 'properties' in Device Manager?  At the very least, determine which version of the driver is installed, and compare that to the current version on the asus support site.

  • Windows cannot find a network hardware!

    Hello

I am a new Member of this forum. Thank you to everyone. I bought a hp mini 210-2011 computer. It came with windows 7 Basic. only two disks, the disk 'c' & recovery had ' drive! so, to preserve the safety of my data, I thought to make new partitions. Home Basic to Windows is total crap, so I bought a windows 7 Home premium 32-bit and installed & made partitions. BUTTTT... After that there are always signs of the Red Cross on the network on the system tray icon. a message that is popping up "" windows detects no network hardware "." I downloaded the drivers from the hp site. But even after their installation without help. model says'there is sometimes no hardware, operation canceled. There are 10 driversavailable on the network tab, I installed the first three drivers. because I don't know who are exactly for my laptop, but I found under model specifc number I searched the net and found it's a coomon problem, but there was none is satisfactory. There is no switch for the physical network adapter. one of the function keys act as wifi on/off switch. I installed 2011 Ralink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter, Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver, Driver Realtek Local Area Network (LAN), Manager of connection hp, chipset driver intel drivers audio & video, storage drivers. should I install any drivers 1 listed under Network tab it please help me. any help will be appreciated. Thanks to all in advance. have agreat day.

one thing, WHY all THE HP computers LAPTOPS COME WITH ONLY C & RECOVERY D DRIVE! DATA RECOVERY IS NOT AN IMPORTANT ISSUE FOR THEM. 2 DAYS BACK BOUGHT HP PAVILION dm4. THE SAME PROBLEM. NEXT TIME I'LL SERIOUSLY CONSIDER ANOTHER BRAND. CANNOT GO TO CLEAN REINSTALL WINDOWS UNLESS WIFI HP MINI PROBLEM GETS RESOLVED. ' COS EVEN TO HAPPEN. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH 500 GB DRIVE C!

problem solved. in the end another driver listed on the site hp "Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows 7" did the trick. for amateur like me, it is very difficult to know the required driver. I now intend to format my new hp Pavilion dm4-1219tx which is come with close to 500 GB drive 'C '. problem is that I have to buy a new copy of windows Home premium 64 bit and the operating system that came with the laptop is going to lose. but to my knowledge, I have no choice. new schedule before reinstalling the os, I'll try to find out the specific driver that is necessary, so that I do not land upward with the same kind of problem, can be larger.

  • Two issues here, 1st system restore will not restore, also wireless do not detect all networks

Prob with system restore is everything goes well until the pc restarts, then get the restoration of of message without any changes have been made to your computer, this tent after several different restore points.

The prob with connection Wi - Fi (intel pro 2200 bg) is it doesn't find any networks, pilot verified also that his permit, any help there ain't a pc wizz so any advice appreciated

System Restore is not a panacea.  If this can help depends on what specific changes you want to cancel.

Which leads to the question: what is is happened just before things stopped working?

You do not mention if one of potential errors 13 to restore the system applied to you, or if none did, this error message you got when you tried to use the system restore.

    To do this:

Tried the keys that turn off wifi nothing not even the light that says its /running activated

say that the light associated with your wifi adapter is not turned on or off?  If Yes, I suppose that the light is 'off' now, correct?

Further, I guess that the wifi card is internal and you have a portable computer.  What is the brand and model of your computer?

Open the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK)
Click on the + sign next to "network adapters."
If there is an icon of warning/error next to an entry, double-click the entry and to report to what appears under the "Device status" and "Use of the device" (both on the general tab).

Go to network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
Right-click on the icon for your wireless adapter and select Properties
You will see a screen like this, and if so, is the on your box is checked the--> http://screenshots.modemhelp.net/screenshots/Windows_XP/Network_Connections/Wireless_Network_Connection/Properties/Wireless_Networks/Index.shtml

  • Windows XP does not detect any internet at all despite the computer with the modem to work.

I recently installed Windows XP Professional on my new iMac via bootcamp.  While Windows itself works fine, it won't connect to internet at all.  Despite being connected to a modem ADSL via a Ethernet cable, and also have wireless internet, Windows does not detect any signal.  On the internet in the Control Panel, all connections page that appears is "1394 connection" under the heading "LAN or Internet high speed."  I tried several times to put in place a new internet connection through the Setup Wizard and everytime, no internet is detected.

I know that the modem works because all the other computers in my house are fine online, including on the side of Mac of the iMac.  If anyone has an idea as to how I should resolve this problem, your help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Daniel

Moreover, these are things I've already tried:

I've tried to manually and automatically set up an internet connection
I spoke with my ISP, the modem works fine
I have re-partitioned the hard drive and reinstalled XP

The "1394 connection" is the IEEE 1394 (FireWire) from your computer.  There should be cable system and under the heading wireless connections "LAN or Internet high speed."   There is no need to run the Network Setup Wizard or set up a new connection.

Open the Device Manager (Start > run > devmgmt.msc ) and go to the network adapters section.  You may need to install the drivers for them.
