6 sec more wifi calling problem

Hello

I hope someone can offer a solution for the problem I have with wifi-calling.  I would try to explain the problem.   When connected to wifi, when I get a call I hear the first notes of the ring... then stops immediately and I see 1 missed call, then on the second ring once more I heard the first note of the ring, then the phone displays 2 missed calls, that this continues with each ring until the caller hangs up.  Now, it happens not every time, but enough times to be a problem.  Initially, I contacted Apple and worked with a SR. Tech.  Apple has agreed this was a problem (I was at the Genius bar and the technician was able to experience the problem I had).  Apple has agreed to Exchange my phone.  I have install new phone, then restored my content.  Once more, I have the same problem.

Now my wife and all two got the same phone iPhone 6s more 16 G using the AT & T network.  It's nothing wrong with wifi calling.  My thought is that maybe there is an application that is the cause of the problem, but don't know if this is possible.  I tried to google my problem but couldn't find anything which apply.

Any ideas?

Thank you, Ken

  • WiFi calling is not available using 5 c with AT & T

In this article, I see that may be called wifi work on models 5 c and later. AT & T tells me that they do not block this feature.

What could stop this option to appear?  Is it not possible that my phone does not support wifi calling for some reason, such as suggested by the representative of AT & T?

    AT & T chat transcript:

Mauricio: Your phone is not up-to-date

Dan: Yes. Has even put in yesterday. 9.3.5, I think

    Mauricio: I see
Mauricio: If the phone options does not show wifi calling, we cannot operate
Mauricio: I was reading the article of the Apple
Mauricio: The option should be there

Dan: That's what I thought. Maybe AT & T stops to appear?

    Mauricio: oh no all Dan
Mauricio: We cannot change the phone options
Mauricio: If it were possible, you will see the option and trying to turn it will be a message & TT

Dan: I saw on an att site that support is granted to the iPhone 6 and more. He did not say the 5 c, but this seems to be the case.

Mauricio: I'm sure that the newer models available factory option, in fact I had an iphone 6 and the option was there to factory default

  • Verizon WiFi calling will soon become feature

Most read on 8 December, unrolled Verizon WiFi calling to two models of Samsung. I had the pleasure to test my friends and I can say that there was no problem. We were at A StarBucks on a WiFi network. This certainly isn't new technology. For residential telephone services have been around using WiFi for at least 15 years. Some companies like Republic wireless cell is based on WiFi calling. I'm really happy to have this feature. There are some places that I go to work where I have WiFi but no signal from Verizon because of the basement or steel building. I see this as a smart move on Verizons part. Unfortunately, I think that we will see this update before Marshmallow

I spoke with a level 2 at Verizon engineer who me that WiFi was in the plans to be eliminated as soon as POSSIBLE for Iphones and Android devices. I'm the only forward this new feature in the future? Not to be confused with LTE. Cause the LTE is the Verizon network. It's using any WiFi signal to which you are connected to a call. I also want Marshmallow first but think people who read this post on the new feature. If you want to answer with a complete sentence maybe post thumbs upwards or downwards. Just curious to see how in Touch Verizon is with there customers.

    Welcome to the Apple community.

I'm afraid that is what happens when you share an Apple ID.

Ideally you should each have your own ID and use family share for share purchases, but at least you would be better to have your own ID's for everything except iTunes.

I suspect that your problem is that you share an ID for FaceTime, you must either stop this or make sure that you have only and that your caller ID is only your phone number.

  • No more wifi on my pc: Acer Aspire VN7 - 591 G-77FH

I can't find a Wi fi on my pc. I see a symbol of a small pc with a cable (I think it is symbol of ethernet connection) in the lower right corner of the office, where I used to see waves:

It was not a problem until yesterday because I used to connect to my pc via ethernet during the week, the address IP Thresholds. Yesterday my pc had one or two blue screens while I was working on a virtual machine on Linux (VirtualBox) and this morning my pc has observed several blue screens when turned on.

The above screen shows: "the computer ha has encountered a problem and must be restarted. Information collection is underway. In the end, the computer will be restarted automatically
"To collect more information, search for this error online code: 0x000001d3.

This morning, the above blue screen appeared several times, and so the pc rebooted several times. When I was finally able to turn it on, I have observed this problem of network. By clicking on the symbol of the pc in the first picture, I see the following:

    No more wifi!

I think it's a problem with my network wifi card. That's what I saw in "device management":

Then I clicked on Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller and clicked on "Scan for hardware changes ' waves appeared as if by magic again at the bottom right of your desktop and I was valid to connect my pc to the wi fi network.

So I went to work and there still as blue screen... and now I'm not able to solve the problem... maybe network card WiFi is definitely dead... Yet once, I tried to click on "Scan for hardware changes" in "device management" with no result...

He must go to acer.it, search for your correct driver (which is Wireless LAN Driver (NFA344)), install it and restart your pc. As you have installed w10 instead of remaining with default w8.1 system, you may be crushed your drivers.

The point is that you see not devices in "device management" before installing the correct driver... This is really weird

  • unlocked Z5P wifi calling?

Just got my Z5P (unlocked/NASB) last week and use it on T-mobile.

It works very well with T-mobile, and I find no problems so far.

I'm guessing wifi calling is only for T-mobile phone? or there is a way to enable this feature with this phone unlock?

    @nobopyon

No, because T-mobile will have to add this feature to the firmware and since he is not a T-mobile phone, it will not work

  • HP Pavilion G6 - no WiFi Signal - problem "Broadcom 4313GN.

    Hello

My laptop (HP Pavilion G6, PN: QG846EAR #ABU) with Windows 7 Home Edition is to have through its WiFi connectivity problems. The WiFi hardware is recognized as "Broadcom 4313GN 1 x 1 adapter Wi - Fi 802.11b/g/n" by the Manager of devices but it cannot detect all autour WiFi signals. I tried deactivating and activating it by FN - F12. This action works, but does not affect the situation. Initially it was the driver version 5.100.82.82 as of the 20.05.2011.

I found two new updated driver from Broadcom and HP sites, but none worked. (ver: 5.100.82.95 - date: 1.4.09 and worm: 5.100.82.139 - date8.5.2012)

I restored default Windows 7 Home but this does not work either.

I started with Fedora and Knoppix live CD but none managed to see any signal, even if the two detected the correct WiFi hardware.

I have checked and then changed the values in the BIOS by default, but this did not help.

When a WiFi USB is plugged in, the PC works fine.

Under the battery, the WiFi device is referred to as "bcm94313hmgb".

    Any idea?

    Say hello to new mscag.

Thus, one of the sons is not connected?  It's probably the cause of your problem.  Take a look at your notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide.  Specifically, look at page 54, which deals with the removal of the WLAN card.  He says that there should be two wires to disconnect (main and auxiliary antennas).

I can't say very much in the picture, but it seems that you should be able to reconnect the loose wire.  I suggest this thread connected and if this does not resolve the issue I would then contact HP support.

HP to support an appeal to the United States / Canada you can call to the 1-800-474-6836.  If you are in another part of the world, you visit HP's Support around the world to find the coordinates for your region.

Let me know if plug this cable solves your problem.  Have a great rest of the day!

  • WiFi intermittent problem. Win 10 think it is connected when there is no Internet.

WiFi intermittent problem.  I have a 2 month old Dell Inspiron 15 5559 with dual band Wireless AC 3160 adapter Intel.  I connect via WiFi, start Pandora with Chrome and everything works very well for a few hours.  I monitor the status of the WiFi and noticed that when the speedometer drops to simple numbers temporarily, then resumed at 50 Mbps or more a second or two later, my browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge) no longer work even if icons indicate "connected, secure" and LAN activity continues.  Pandora and all other browser activities cease until I have disconnect and reconnect.  The router, I had this problem with that is a TP-Link wireless-N that works perfectly with other computers, but I purchased & installed a D604 of D-Link router wireless AC to see if this can solve the problem.  It has exactly the same problem on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.  Device Manager displays an Intel driver version 18.11.0.8 dated dated 22/06/2015 apparently normal and no! or? any where in the list of devices.

So the obvious conclusion is that when the power of the signal is temporarily less than 10 Mbps for a second or two, then returns to the top 10 Windows thinks there is a good WiFi connection when it is not.  Disconnect and reconnect always solve the problem, but it's an obvious bug, and it's a pain.

    Hello

I'm glad that you finally got this driver to install.  Microsoft has done a lot with Windows 10 trying to reduce the energy consumption on laptops.   In some ways, that has caused some problems with the wireless, making cards more susceptible to interference.   I hope that this driver will clear up many of the conflicts and problems that you see.

Let us know how it goes.

  • BlackBerry App investigating the classic BlackBerry, T-Mobile and the WiFi calling app

I am looking for on this forum after being (possibly) achieved through BlackBerry World (located here, so you can make reference to what I'm going to talk: https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/35524900 ) this app is marked as 'BlackBerry Lmtd' being the developer, that's why it is implicit that BlackBerry updates to this app and is responsible for its support. I am at this point, after trying (for weeks) to find how this whole process of WiFi calling went down, I was told by T-Mobile at the level executive response that BlackBerry was next to insider support. In its current form the above application currently supports only prior 2 BB10 peripheral T-Mobile, the Q10 and Z10. Despite the classic hit the shelves of T-Mobile, despite the fact that T-Mobile as well as the TWO classic BlackBerry supports WiFi called, it seems to come down to this app gets an update. I write here wondering if there is information about the status of this application as well as the support with regard to devices. Will be it be updated to include the classic? Is this a known issue? Is this really T-Mobile app? Just anything, any kind of transparency or tiny tidbit of information be always so would appreciate! If anyone has information or can better direct me on where to take my survey, I am more than happy to wait for your answers! Thank you for your time.

That's the beauty of this site... we do not work for carriers, nor for the BB. So, we can be truly independent and share more that they would be allowed to share. But, keep in mind that everything we know is therefore not official (unless it is a public site, such as the database of BB KB). We are sure that we are right on these points, but being not "in it", we can't know with 100% certainty.

You're most welcome and good luck!

  • Concerns about 911 (and equivalent) with WiFi calling

I'll take my iPhone to the United Kingdom for a few months and then Israel.  Roaming charges 'works' are crazy, so I'm leaning toward disabling homelessness and by using the Wifi calling feature, because I have Wifi most of the time almost every day.

What worries me and I wonder if others share it: If a person has a heart attack on the sidewalk next to me, I needed to go to the options, re - activate roaming (three or four clicks...), wait for it to connect and then try to remember versions UK or Israel of 911 (for someone who is curious the United Kingdom uses 999 for ambulances, but the 112 for fire and other emergency situations; Israel uses 100/101/102 (police/ambulance/fire brigade), but in theory, they are also used for 911 112 or even, as we do in the United States).

Why isn't Apple just automate all this?

At the present time their Wifi calling already wants to keep me my updated location.  Instead, they might have an option "use Wifi with the exception of emergency situations, wandering around in case of emergency only".  So, if I'm in the United Kingdom and call 911, they may have a version of homelessness that ONLY uses the roaming network for 911 calls and automatically use the right number of premises too.  So I would use Wifi roaming, that emergency calls would actually work without messing with the options tabs and waiting to reassign to a local provider of the phone company.  The phone would actually get on the go, but would not accept incoming calls or send outgoing calls on the roaming provider: he would use Wifi calling for that and for texting and would only use the mobile carrier for 911).

    To clarify:

National emergency services number of the United Kingdom is 999 - including to call police, fire and ambulance.

If you prefer, 112 can be made instead to the United Kingdom for the same purpose (112 can be used throughout the EU).
