  I'm not really clear on the intent of your question.  If you can get the latest version you want to buy it.  When you go to buy, you should be able to see if it has an option to buy an update of the version you currently have.  I can't find the purchase page to check it out myself... I can only find the subscription option.

If you remember that I tried to install the menu shortcut for UNDO them and REDO and totally rejected the idea that they might be under Edit on the crazy Main Menu which of course, they have been and worked like a charm.
