6360 b: upgrade 6360 b wlan module

I am trying to upgrade my module wlan in my laptop 6360 Broadcomm 4313GN on an Intel Centrino 6205 b one, as it should be the fastest wlan taken in charge by this laptop. But when I put in the wlan module Intel, the laptop starts and says that the wlan module is not recognized, and disables it so.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

@Biostud

Order you this HP 631954-001 part number?

Or you have ordered just a 6205 Intel?

For the BIOS to accept it, it must be a part of HP.

Yes, the map is on the list but need a spare part HP with the right part number: 630705-001. Means that you need to buy a wifi with this part or any other wifi number in the list, but always use the part numbers.

  • Is it possible to add the MiniPCI WLAN Module for Satellite Pro 4300?

    Hello

I got a 4300 Satellite Pro and I want to add a WLAN MiniPCI Module. Is this possible and is someone able to provide details where to add this module for example some technical documentation in images.

    Greetings

Robin is right about the upgrade. It is not possible. in my opinion the best solution for you is to use a PCMCIA WLAN card.

  • Need help with the upgrade of the WLAN on Satellite Pro 6100 minipci card

Hello everyone, I desperately tried to update my WIRELESS card on my laptop SP6100, since it was delivered with a card minipci wifi-b, which is not fast enough today. s standards.

Each piece of the Toshiba official documentation mention the SP6100 has a mini-PCI type 3a slot, so can accommodate two minipci card a type 3a and 3B wifi.
But unfortunately for me, I discovered the hard way that it is absolutely NOT the case - I was put back by a fortune by buying costs for a type3 intel minipci wifi card, which does NOT at all on the laptop.

I spent an hour in unnecessary calls to the customer service from Toshiba, that I had to convince PCMCIA certainly isn't the same as miniPCI, and Mini - PCI cards ARE CERTAINLY replaceable by the user. She insisted that she could not be changed by the user of the system, but by toshiba themselves.

Could someone please please advise me on the type of wifi card that are built with the SP6100 laptops? I think is it AGERE brand, in the form of WLAN minipci card. I know that it IS certainly NOT miniPCI type 3.

    Help, please! Thank you.
And besides, every place that I tried so far appears only sell type3 miniPCI cards,
Other types of Mini-PCI cards are available to retail customers?

    Infinite thanks!

    Hello

You must understand that your model of laptop is quite old and right now the market wasn't available standard b. I'm pretty skeptical that you will be able to use the standard WLAN with G maps due to compatibility issues. On this forum, I founded several threads that people write about the problems of upgrading older models of laptops with the new wireless network cards.

In my opinion the best solution for you is to use a PCMCIA WLAN card. The installation should be easy and you can use the wireless network with faster data transfer adapter.

  • Qosmio G30-204 - upgrade of the WLAN card

    Hi people.

I currently have an Intel pro/Wireless 3945ABG Network card in my laptop. If I had to upgrade to a newer version, which we'd be one of the newest and best for my laptop?

And the new WiMax from Intel would work in the Qosmio G30 - 204?

    Hey Buddy,

The antenna is placed under the cover of the display and cables are placed under the keyboard or with other words, they are connected to the wireless network card.

By the way: an upgrade to the draft N standard is not possible. In my view an update of the WLAN card is not logical.

    Hello

The A30 151 supports 2 slots of memory. You can use 2 sticks of memory in your laptop.
Also I know the memory can be upgraded to 2 GB (2 x 1024 MB)
Compatible modules indicated PC2100 PC2700 DDR - RAM.
I've studied a bit and found that these modules are supported:
    PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25)
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)

I'm not sure that the module costs but you can order the Toshiba ASP compatible modules in your country.

    Hello
Anyone know which Module WLAn can be used in a Satellite Pro 6000.
My NB is pre-installed for WLan but I don't want to use only 11MBit Module and the other are not signed for the SP6000.

    Hello

As far as I know this unit supports only the 802. 11b Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card.
This Mini PCI card, I got with a flow of data 11Mbit.
In this case, I think that you can use a Mini PCI card with 11Mbit.
But nevertheless you ca also use a PCMCIA wireless card. This card is also available with 54 Mbps data rate.

    Good bye

  • Satellite 3000 - X 4: can it be upgraded to the WLan?

I have a Satellite 3000 - x 4 laptop, can it be upgraded for the wireless.

    Hello

This device seems to be a former because I don t find much s information in internet on this laptop.
I visited the Toshiba site European options and accessories. You will find many additional devices for each Toshiba laptop.
There is no listed WLan card. So I guess that you can not pass this laptop with internal WLan minPCI card, but only with an external device as WLan USB stick.

I think that the WLAN USB key is the best way to connect the laptop with WiFi at home.
N t need to install many applications and especially the USB key is delivered with the right driver.

  • Product number: J1Y82EA #UUW: Windows 10 upgrade killed my WLAN!

Hello! In February last I bought a HP Envy 17 laptop, it came with Windows 8.1 on it, and as soon as they deployment upgrade to win 10, I've updated. It took some getting used to, and I still don't know my way around it very well, as I came from years of use of Win 7. I let the updates, most needed, automatically. I have Kapersky antivirus installed on the machine. A few weeks ago, he did an automatic upgrade and something went wrong, he did not upgrade correctly to the WLAN and gave me a notification saying that I had to do, as well as a button to click to go ahead and download and install the new driver for it. I tried several times and it has always failed. I tried to go on the internet and find a driver for it, but nothing worked. Whatever he did, it caused my WLAN to stop seeing WiFi connections. (Yes, I made sure it was on! ) Fortunately I have a 4 GB usb key and that works fine, so I'm still able to get on the internet. After searching around on the internet and see others have had this problem as well, or other similar, in any case and try different suggestions with none of them work, I gave up. At that time I drove it back to a previous restore point and it worked fine. Then of course, she wanted to make the upgrades again and I kept clicking on no when the message has popped up. I guess I wasn't attentive enough and must have turned something off, but when the computer was left on a night when I'm asleep, I woke up and found that it upgraded automatically during the night.

The WIFI network is working now, but it works for a few hours and then stop seeing WiFi connections, and the only way I can get it working again is to restart the computer. Better that translate the first upgrade to be sure, but still not acceptable.

The HP support assistant is back to tell me that my Intel WLAN driver needs to be updated. I tried a second time with exactly the same result. I hope someone here can help me before you go do another restore to get this working! I guess my only option would be not to do more updates?

  • Pavilion dv7, upgrade memory with faster modules

    Hello

PC10666 memory modules can be used to upgrade Pavilion dv7 3170em (WC152EA)?

It is currently 2x2gb modules clocked at 533 MHz, will replace the two modules.

I intend to replace them with KINGSTON ValueRAM or Transcend JM1333KSN - 4G 4 GB at 667 MHz modules.

These modules can be used, i.e. they can downlclock at 533 MHz?

    TIA,

    Davor

In the end, I found 533 MHz modules at a decent price, so I bought two 4 GB G.Skill F3 - 8500 CL 7 modules. Did some burn-in tests, everything works OK.

    Kind regards

  • upgrade to 5 of esx4.0 - 'host upgrade will remove these modules'

    Hmm-

HP DL380 G5 server with all the standard components of HP, NetApp fc LUN with 4.0 connection

I upgraded to 5.0 vcenter and added the hosts. I also downloaded an ESXi 5 image in the Update Manager. When I "Search for updates" I get the message that precedes, and the update is reported as 'inconsistent' while I can't perform the upgrade. I'd rather NOT manually install the hosts, but I guess I could do that.

How can I determine which modules are in fact, and if I worry (perhaps in some bizzaro universe there is a part in this area that is not compatible with the esxi5?)?

"oem-vmware-esx-drivers-scsi-3w-9xxx software modules published by third-party providers are installed on the host computer. The upgrade of the host will remove these modules.
    "

    Hello.

This is discussed in the release notes for the Update Manager.

Compliance status is Incompatible and remediation fails for ESX 4.1 Update 1 guests when you scan or clean up the hosts against a 5.0 ESXi upgrade of base
When you perform an upgrade analysis of ESX 4.1 Update 1 against hosts an ESXi 5.0 upgrade of basis, compliance status may be Incompatible.  Sanitation of the 4.1 Update 1 against a reference level 5.0 ESXi ESX host upgrade may fail. Scanning problems and sanitation are caused by third-party drivers in installing ESX 4.1 update 1. After an analysis of upgrading of the hosts more than information on third party software are provided in the details of the conflict for the upgrade of base.

Workaround: two types of drivers could cause problems.

    • Drivers Async, for example oem-vmware-esx-drivers-scsi-3w-9xxx .
The seller goes out of asynchronous mode for ESXi 5.0 drivers, and the drivers will be available in the repository of VMware fix. If you need these drivers, you must download them, use Image Builder CLI to create a customized image of ESXi that contains them and clean up against the custom image. Without the ESXi 5.0 drivers, relevant hardware devices may stop working.
    • Disapproved the drivers, for example oem-vmware-esx-drivers-net-vxge .
The pilot is discontinued in ESXi 5.0 because the relevant material is discontinued. In the Update Wizard Manager remedy, on the ESXi 5.x upgrade page, click Remove installed third-party software that is not compatible with the upgrade and continues with reclamation.  You should be aware of the functional implications of removal of third-party software, because the relevant hardware devices may stop working.

    Good luck!

  • Develop the problem not solved by upgrading to LR 5 module in LR 4

I just upgraded to LR 5.  I had this problem with the LR 4 I was hoping would leave with the upgrade, but it didn't.  I use Windows 7 64-bit.  In the develop module, the cursors change the histogram, but not the image in the main screen.  I don't see the changes in the Filmstrip below, but of course this is not enough.  In addition, sometimes develop module that the image does not appear again, just a gray rectangle.  I found on the forums that others have had this problem, but there is nothing aware about it, and it does not seem to have been resolved for others. I have "ve restarted several times without improvement.  Previously, others have tried a variety of manoeuvres without success as deleting file preferences and uninstalling/reinstalling.  Please help as I am currently completely dead in the water.

You have profiled and calibrated your monitor using a hardware device, such as Greytag Macbeth i1 Display 2 or Spyder one? If this isn't the case, maybe that's the problem.

You can test if this is the problem by following these steps.

    a. close Lightroom and other open source software.

    b. go to your control panel and under appearance and personalization, click "Advanced settings".

    c. in the pop-up dialog box, select the "color management tab and then click"Color management"

    d. (take a note of the current default monitor profile)

    e. in the ICC Profiles list select "sRGB IEC 61966 - 2.1" and defined as the default monitor profile. (if it is not present, click on the Add button and a list of profiles to add on your system will popup the sRGB profile should be there select)

When finished, you can close all the dialog boxes.

Try to use Lightroom and see if the problem goes away. Post your experience what so more troubleshooting can be done.

    See the screen capture.
