  Hi, versions of firefox on windows 64 bit does support flash as npapi plugin. If you want to use other plugins so you must continue to use the regular 32 bit versions.   There is no version of Firefox 64-bit yet for Windows but it was Firefox 64-bit for Mac OSX (dmg combined 32/64) and Linux since Firefox 4.0

  As said that there is Firefox Win64 on beta channel for a test as described above but this does not mean there will be for Firefox exit 39.0 Win64. He's been Win64 versions on channel Beta Firefox 37.0 b #.

  I recorded my song, all recorded overdubs at 48 k 24-bit. When I bounce .mp3 .wav mix no matter what format ends up half a ton more top and faster than it should be.

  I have updated java 7 up to 45 (by mistake, this version of java does not work with vpn and according to apple, I can't revert to the previous version).   Under my Windows 7 64-bit OS, I installed the Nightly Build v28 and v29 "internet speed test" and each time, I can only achieve something < 2 Mbit/s for my home WiFi, router gateway that is subject > 56 Mbps. The only Nightly version work was v23 which could reach nearly > 52 Mbit / s. But once I upgrade to higher version v23, all speeds normal I could achieve in nocturnal v23 disappeared. The same issue also plagued firefox v26 under Win 7 64 bit.

  For more information, this does not apply under Win 7 32-bit OS - the same v26 firefox works fine for pure speed of BW near and > 56 Mbps. Why not in 64-bit OS seems to be the main issue?

  Hello Shao Ma, when using speedtest.net or a similar site based on flash to measure your speed of connection, then it could be a problem with the protected mode that adobe has implemented for its flash plugin for firefox. Some older versions of f-secure or report of trusteer are known to cause slowdowns with flash, or it could be something similar on your system that interferes (maybe security software that block/sandbox the container used for protected mode, etc...).

  as a solution, you could try to disable the protected mode and see if that makes a difference.

  in case you want to solve the problem more far, it would be preferable to contact adobe support and file a bug at bugbase.adobe.com report (choose 'Adobe Flash Player' as the product & 'Browser Integration' as being the product box), since they will have to better understand the inner workings of flash protected mode and therefore knows what else could be the cause of the problem you saw.
