6525 photosmart eAIO switch to USB cable

Is there a special procedure to pass a 6525 Photosmart eAIO to Usb wireless?

Hello

Just test my Photosmart, very simple:

(a) turn off the wireless feature

b connect the USB cable to the computer

Now my computer can 'talk' to the printer.

Kind regards.

  • Is it possible to connect the HP Photosmart C4780 Wireless printer without USB cable?

    Hello

My family and I recently moved and while moving, something inevitably get lost or left for account.  I am fighting to get this printer and will so I don't have to bother people at the front desk at school to print my documents for me.  I have lost/misplaced both the HP Photosmart C4780 printer software disk and the USB cable.  I have no idea where these things are and have not found them within two months, we've been in the new House.

I solved the issue of the loss of the installation disk by downloading it from the HP site.  My problem is now getting beyond the USB connection and get the currently installed software.  Because I run on a MacBook Pro, it always tells me that I need the USB key to continue the installation.  I'm on a Verizon Wireless router, and I even tried to find the printer on my wireless network with no luck.

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

It's the type of cable you will need (ignore the color of the cable, the ends are the important part).

Have a new router is not a problem, but remember the SSID and password wireless exactly, otherwise it will not work (if you decide to try Method 1). It's a bit like "trick" your printer into thinking that your new router is your old a long enough to configure the network settings for the new (desired).

  • Photosmart B110 offline despite its usb cable

    Hello

I have a Photosmart B110 series, and I'm trying to print from a computer laptop macbook OSX 10.6.6 running. He I have a wireless printer, but unfortunately there is no wireless internet at my University, so in the past have had to use my phone as a wireless router. However, it did not have my phone bill a lot of good, so I decided to get a usb cable to connect the computer and the printer instead. I know that the cable work, as he lights up when it's plugged in, but when I try to print, tells me that the printer is offline, although it is connected by cable. I guess that I probably did something wrong, so any help would be very appreciated!

    Thank you

    Hello
According to the information that you have given, it seems that your system is looking for your wireless printer not connected USB printer.
At this point in time, I would say to reset the printing system, then add your printer.

Steps to reset the printing system

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

Say 'Thank you' by clicking on the star of congratulations in the post helped you.

Please indicate the position that solved your problem as "acceptable Solution".

    Kind regards

  • Is it possible to set up a printer wireless without the USB cable?

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart C4580 and I wanted to set up to run on a network, but I don't have a USB cable. I tried to install it without one, but it does not appear on the network, and I was wondering if you really need a USB cable to install it?

    Thank you.

    1. turn Radio on wireless to the printer.

    2. on your computer, search for all available wireless networks. You should find a named "hpsetup". Go ahead and connect to this network and ignore all warnings.

    3. wait 1 minute after have connected you to the network. Then, print a network of the printer Configuration Page. It should list an IP beginning with 169.254.x.x.

    4. type this address in the address bar of any web browser. You will reach the Embedded Server (EWS) Web of the printer.

5 use the Wireless\Networking tab at the top and looking for an option to ' 802.11 wireless networks. On this page, you will be able to enter your network settings wireless (screenshot attached to facilitate their identification).

    6. make sure that you change the SSID for your network name. Click on the option button 'Infrastructure' and enter your WEP\WPA pasphrase. ENTER THE SSID AND PASSWORD EXACTLY AS IT IS, OR IT CANNOT CONNECT TO THE NETWORK.

    7. click on the button to apply and wait for the confirmation of the parameters being recorded.

8 restart the printer. Once again the Config network printer page. Now, it must have a such IP assigned by your router and not with 169.254.x.x.

  • The HP software update is still my printer unable to talk to my PC with USB cable or wireless. Nightmare.

I tried to do what I thought, it was a systematic HP software update on my printer, which has been very well. The software appears to install correctly, but then I could not connect wireless or even when I plugged a USB cable at the back. I restarted my computer and my printer several times. I retried the installation several time steps. Two hours later, I'm stuck, and I see no way to get any help from HP. At this point, I think seriously just junking my printer and switch to another brand that has his act together. Can anyone help? Of course can't do HP.

    Hello

Normally, I will not let any product for my machines automatically update. Anyway, my suggestion: using Windows restore to restore the machine back to the point before the update.

    I hope this helps.

  • Error recovery E280 mode, then asked to switch to USB 2.0 MSD mode

I've always had errors with my player, but now when I turn it on, I get error "main image may not load, switch to recovery mode."  I turned off the player, move the hold switch, press and hold the rec button and connect to my computer.  Now when the player turns on, I get "Welcome to Recovery Mode", USB cable plugged in, mode enter USB2.0 MSD.

Anyone know what it is and how I do it?

I love cryptic error messages.  "In USB 2.0 Mass Storage Device mode" and a mention of a link, are good things.

Your Sansa tells you that it is in Recovery Mode, and it communicates as a Mass Storage Class device (MSC against MSD, quibble about the exact definition is everything).

'Main image' is is the firmware for the e200.

Download and unzip the firmware mi4 and here, the BL_SD rom files run with version 18.  Inside of this archive zip, you will find two files.  Unzip them and place them on your desktop.

Then, with the v1 of connected Sansa in Recovery Mode, you'll need to open a Windows Explorer window.   Double-click workstation.  See the new icon, 16 MB FORMAT?  Double-click this to open the partition reserved your Sansa, home of the firmware files.

No matter what you do, DO NOT use the Windows Format command on this reserved partition!

Drag and drop the two files of the firmware in the score (open window).  Right-click after the transfer, and select eject.

Turn the HOLD switch on left and unplug your e200.

    Automatically reinstalls the firmware.

  • can I use my wireless printer if it is connected to the main computer with the USB cable?

My main computer runs XP Professional and is not wireless capable (that I know), my laptop running Windows 7 is wifi enabled, it can independently connect to the internet and printer (Photosmart 5510) is wifi capable but that is currently connected to the main computer with a USB cable.

My question: can I use the printer to the host computer by USB and computer laptop through wireless?  If yes how to configure connections? Thank you.

    Hello

A small wifi Wireless USB on the XP machine should work just fine. You can OpenOffice.org printer to two computers wireless. I don't think that a machine can access the printer if you plan to use the USB connection or wireless. I have not tried yet, maybe next weekend.

  • Iomega Portable hard drive now does not appear under "Devices" after accidentally deleted USB cable. USB

My Iomega eGo Portable hard drive was connected by USB on my Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.5 cable and I was transferring my iPhoto folder.  Unfortunately, the cable dropped and I got a message on my laptop hard drive had not ejected correctly.   I reconnected it the cable, but now, it does not appear under devices in the search page.  I also checked the disc utilities and it isn't here either.  I tried to connect the hard drive of my iMac, but it does not appear in the devices out there either.

Although I have been using a Mac since they first appeared on the market and can usually work things, I find it more and more difficult with all the new technology.  Everything that used to be so easy, one of the great things the Mac since MS-DOS.

If anyone can help I would be very grateful, because I have a lot of files on this disc of old Mac and use the Iomega to backup my most important files.

    The drive may have failed.

    Try different USB cables.

Remove the naked drive from the iOmega enclosure and test it in a known functional wardrobe.

    Ciao.
