6830 HP scanning capabilities

Hello

hp 6830 adf has the two-sided scanning ability?

Which means that it can analyze a face double page automatically?

In the case where it is not what printer has this kind of capability?

Thank you

Dror

Generally, there are very few models that allow the two-sided scanning.

Currently the 8620 8630 models or Officejet Pro are the only consumer models that provide this type of functionality.

Other than that, there only more end sales of models such as the M425dn of LaserJet Pro with such capabilities.

  • HP 6830: need help with scanning capabilities 6830 hp (just one question to answer)

    Yes,

There is a manual duplex function. I bought the printer and now I'm very happy with it (so far).

while solving a connection problem, caused by the backup of the avira´s, I tried so scan 3 sheets of paper, double-sided, the program did sorting.

Thus, it is possible to scan duplex, just turn around all the pages at the same time, when it's over.

  • OfficeJet 6830: Problems scanning

Hi, I just bought an Officejet 6830 and I have a mac. Is there anyway that scanning duplex can be activated by an Apple operating system because I was able to dig a few days and still can't find what I'm looking for.

    Hi @EPaul_K,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you do want to scan double sided with your HP Officejet 6830 on the Mac running Yosemite 10.10 in operating system.

Once you open the scanner, you will see the opportunity to put a stop to the analysis both sides of the page option:

I hope this helps, I'll leave you with this useful document analysis as well: scanning with HP software full feature in OS X v10.10 Yosemite

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you

  • Office Jet Pro 6830: Office Jet Pro 6830 slow scan or fax

I have been using this printer with mixed success. Initially it would scan and send faxes quickly.  I have a set on my network IP address and is not into a power strip or backup power.  I have the latest drivers, etc.. HP just released. However, given that I signed up and started using the service of HP ink, by which I get so many pages per month and ink when I'm low, the printer has got in its movements of grand-pa. I'm trying to scan... wait and wait a minute... happens then two... I get a pop up according to is I changed the IP... and when I close this pop-up window, off it will...

Why don't the HP ink subscription problems, unless he checks with HP to see if it needs to do what was asked.  If this is the case, by the service of HP ink.

OK, I know an answer 'keeps' when I get one. I am an engineer network, tho removed from TI, Motorola, Cisco and Bosch.

I don't have the IP address of the DHCP range, it is on 10.0.0.219 and I still over 100 ip addresses to use on my network.

I also know all the network settings to keep everything happy.

However, I found that the HP software was trying to use an Epson printer that was no longer on the network. Once that was removed then the problem has been resolved. Even Windows Pro 10, recognized the Epson was not on the network and disconnected.

    Problem solved.

When the scan and save a document in the ADF in pdf format, the resulting file can be read by Adobe or Foxit.  Since it is generally slightly wrong, I try to use A-PDF Deskew to straighten that translates into a dialog box telling me that the file is "not a pdf file or is corrupt.  I can work around this in print using several programs pdf print to produce a pdf file that A-PDF Deskew will accept.

  • Can multiple Photosmarts (7510 and C309g) be configured to scan on the same computer?

I have an Acer PC Windows 7 with an AMD Athlon X II processor, 4 GB of RAM.

I have Photosmart C309g and everything-each 7510, both connected via wi - fi, using different IP addresses that are not in conflict with other devices on my network.

I executed the complete installation for both HPs.

I can print either, but I can scan only using the 7510.

When I open the HP scan diagnostic, it does recognize that the 7510 - the c309g is not yet listed.

I noticed only 7510 application record contains a HP scan application and it also recognizes that the 7510.

There is no application scan c309g folder.  I tried Win 7 Windows Fax and Scan application but that also recognizes as the 7510.

    1. is there a way to configure the system so that it can print and scan from these two Photosmarts?

    2. If the scanning using a 7510 and c309g does not work, could I use a 7510 both a 7520?

    Hello Osiris43,

Welcome to the HP forums! I understand that you are unable to scan a document using the Photosmart Premium C309.

You should have two printers scanning capabilities, because they have a different software. The Photosmart printer using the Solution Center and the Photosmart 7510 uses the Printer Wizard.

I suggest you uninstall/reinstall the software Photosmart Premium C309. Please follow these steps:

Please follow this HP document uninstalling the software of the printer.

Then, perform a clean boot on your computer. I'll give you a Microsoft document on this step here.

Now, install the full features on the site of HP software here. Choose your operating system that is appropriate; 32-bit or 64-bit.

Once installation is complete, please click on the document to Microsoft, and "how to reset the computer to start normally after a clean boot."

Please send me your troubleshooting steps.

  • This officejet pro 8600 is not duplex scan size of different pages, only the size of page letter

I have a desktop hp jet pro 8600 and printer. My original printer scanned pages front and back of different sizes, the printer stopped scanning properly and I replaced with the same model. Now, this printer can not scan other than letter size paper. I can only scan two-sided letter-size pages! The reason why I bought this printer has been for its scanning capabilities. I talked to support HP they said it scans only some dimensions of the page in duplex mode. Please HP DIFFICULTY this problem and give your customers the ability to SCAN RECTO VERSO DIFFERENT SIZES of PAGE. I've been with hp for many years, printers, laptops and a computer

    Message reads

"The document feeder only supports analysis for some sizes of paper double-sided. If your original is too long or short, use the scanner glass.

HP I'm supposed to use glass scanner page-by-page, I bought a officejet pro for special to spend less time scanning features manually. I wonder what the reason for this restriction of page size, it worked on my previous printer.

I solved this problem without downgrading the firmware to version CLP1CN1232AR.

I downloaded and installed HP Web Jetadmin to do this (www. HP.com/go /webjetadmin). Then, I followed the instructions on the manual (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01943164.pdf) to activate this option.

The image I used was obtained on the HP ftp site: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/pfirmware

The name of the image is: ojpro_8600_n911_g_n_1232A_09272012.ful.rfu

Now, I can scan both sides of the legal size.

  • LasetJet Pro M475dn: Impossible to scan over the network after upgrade to El Capitan

After that I upgraded to El Capitan I no longer use HP Scan or HP Easy Scan to scan the network more. I can print to the printer, but analysis always results in the page being pulled by the document feeder, but applications just to lock-up without the document showing. Everything worked fine on Yosemite.

I found a workaround solution that once worked before after a update of Mac OS X (but had to change the name of file, much like the original file has disappeared). Just download the next file on HP (no matter that it is not for your printer; it's not mine either (OfficeJet Pro L7680) but it works).

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub//softlib/software12/COL51752/OJ-125213-3/HP-inkjet-SW-OSX-Mavericks_v12.34.37.dmg

Disable SIP for this installation and when you run the installation program (do not know if you need to do, but I did anyway). To do this, the instructions are here:

    https://forums.developer.Apple.com/thread/3981

When you run the Setup program, make sure you hold the CTRL key when you right-click on it, then click Open in the menu.

Run the Setup program. Be sure to select the HP scanning software and install it. When you get to the configuration of the printer, just skip this step (unless you are using the printer in question). The parser components are what you really want from the printer drivers are already in El Capitan, if you have a HP supported printer. The scanning software will have already installed to the moment you arrive at this screen.

Install the HP Easy Scan on the App Store app (if you get the latest version of the software your front-end). You should be able to run the scanner and scans without restart. I don't know if it will work for everyone, but certainly, it worked for me and keep me until they find what went wrong in El Capitan to disable scanning and scanning capabilities.

SIP turn on again so that your Mac is better protected. We should all work after that. After doing the above, I found that I was able to not only use the HP software, I was able to use Image Capture, preview, etc, to get images from the scanner. Your mileage may vary, but if all goes well it will work again for you all.

  • How I got my HP 5510 e-all-in-one scan a direct output on an Android Tablet

How I got my HP 5510 printer e-all-in-one scan a direct output on an Android Tablet? My printer is connected to my wireless network. During the installation of the printer, I was able to identify my desktop or portable computers computers "scan to" and they both appear as destinations on the printer screen.   I was able to direct the scans of the printer for these two computers without problems. But I was not able to find a way to see the result of the analysis in my Android tablet (Android Honeycomb 3.2.1). I downloaded and use app HP ePrint home and Biz and can print from the tablet. This app does not seem to offer the opportunity to direct the output of scan printer to send to the tablet. Any suggestions?

    Hello

Currently, HP does not provide a solution to scan for Android OS.

Scan from the front panel allows you to scan to a computer only and not to any mobile OS.

I would say lets you search the Android Market for any part 3rd scan because HP ePrint application home & Biz provide currently scan capabilities for iOS of Apple and Nokia Symbian as you can find below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02532765

    It will be useful,

  • What scanners support duplex scanning?

Already have an OfficeJet H470 wbt guess Multifunction (esp. with feeder scan), but only printing is available.

Is there a function to copy and scan? Download exceptional/particular software Driver required for Windows 7 HP support page.

Which models have a duplex analysis function? Duplex scanning is important to me.

    Hi WM,.

The Officejet Mobile 100 is only a printer, it does not provide the functionality of any copy or scan.

On the side of F_e product, HP Offiejet Pro 8600 more or HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium are only current models offering duplex printing, copying and scanning capabilities.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 scans to the computer windows 7

I am using Windows 7 on my desktop at home for the first time (since a few weeks ago). I got this HP Officejet Pro 8600 for at least a year now, and it was easy scan documents using my Windows XP.

This morning, I scanned a document on the Windows 7 system, but tonight the icon ("HP Officejet Pro 8600") does not show the scan option. I am stunned. I need to scan more than a few documents and cannot find out how to access this feature. Help, please!

Hi delphine and welcome to the forums of HP!

I see you have a 8600 Officejet which seems to no longer provide the analysis option. I will certainly do my best so that he could share with you scanning capabilities

It's really weird that you get is no longer the option scan so I suggest that you run the HP print and Scan Doctor and see if it finds problems first. If she says that everything out very well we should be able to get an icon on your desktop HP Scan so that you can just open it directly.

To do this, click the start menu, click programs principally made, click the HP folder, click on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 folder and then right click on the HP Scan, select send to and Desktop. Then, you will see an icon on your desktop that says HP Scan and you don't have to go through the HP printer Assistant longer.

I would like to know how it goes for you!
