7.0.28.14.1 firmware on TL938 series: idle Youtube

I would ask colleagues to forum running Firmware version 7.0.28.14.1 as of July 1, 2013 at the TL938 TV series:

Your YouTube works properly (both by the family account and account staff) in places of Toshiba?

In my case, on a 40TL938G, after an upgrade online to this version of the firmware, I can't watch YouTube content more, and I would like to know if it's just an individual problem or a software bug. Thanks for your comments.

I installed the 7.0.28.14.1 firmware version on my TV. The youtube app works.

You lay the TV after the update of the firmware?
This must be done always after the firmware flash.
You should also check the country settings you have made for this TV.

Today the pop-up offering "software update available, you want to upgrade?" came on my screen of TL938G. Before accepting, I wanted more information on this subject. Not much info available online but...

1A http://www.toshiba-om.net/firmware.php I clicked on "Information of Firmware" and got a big PDF file, and under "model year 2012 B ', I spotted TL938G, but only saw info on my existing version firmware (dated date 1 July 2013 btw) as follows:

    2. However, on a [German forum: http://www.hifi-forum.de/index.php?action=browseT&back=1&sort=lpost&forum_i d = 148 & thread = 5333 & z = 8] (that I use to visit from time to time) there are people speaking the new firmware, but apparently not much change is reported by those who accepted this titled update as follows:

    7.0.28.16.1 September 2013 18 - 94.6.24.2
    MBOOT Version: 00646225

Does anyone on this forum have more info on this upgrade?

I did the * update 7.0.28.16.1 * subsequently, he passed smoothly. Dated Sep 18 2013 it is distributed that in December, isn't that strange? Anyway, not even necessary to reset at the end of the process which was good as I had it set up channel list with Toshiba Edit (= tedious work) and hated having to go through it again.

I didn't noticed any changes since the previous version 7.0.28.14.1. as expected. I expected a revision/update of Toshiba Places, but not on this update unfortunately... so I'm already looking forward to the next update of Toshiba, lol.

  • Problems with firmware of Toshiba TL 838 - Youtube and Toshiba Places does not work

    Hey,.

    I have a TL838 TV with:

    -6.4.0V 1 firmware
    -Mboot version 00518740
    -MFC version 244930

About 1 month ago youtube stopped working.
A few days ago, Toshiba places stopped working again.
The TV is connected to the Internet and connection test is also passed.

I tried switching country and language in the settings but it does not help.
I also tried to change the DNS settings. Nothing.

    Does anyone have an idea?
I found a firmware named TL838_v6.4.1T.1 on the internet.

    Should I try?

Toshiba Places is service may not work for server problems.
This has nothing to do with the settings of the TV or the firmware.
In the event of server maintenance services Toshiba will be not accessible and available for a short period.

With regard to the issue of YouTube:
I think that the TV used the service Youtube XL.
But google Google stops support for YouTube XL to June 9, 2013
Instead of Google Youtube XL, you can try to use the link youtube.com/tv to enjoy Youtube on the TV.
In addition, you can use the YouTube Leanback Lite: http://www.youtube.com/leanbacklite

Here, in this thread, you can find the details mode:

By the way: the firmware for the Smart TV Toshiba can be found on this page of Toshiba:

  • Firmware update cannot be installed on my 42UL863

    Hello!

My TV does not have the new firmware on the net, I came back with the message that there is no new any firmware. I have 19.3.49.227 August 30, 2011, but there is 19.3.61.7 for UL863G of February 2012 on the toshiba site...

When I extracted and this load on a USB key (I tried several) seems to upgrade (after click Yes) to start, the 'upgrade' popup appears but the progressbar control does not change and it comes back after a while with something as "upgrade file is not found.

    Any ideas?

    See you soon!

What 42UL863 do you have exactly?
    There are different TVs: 42UL863G, 42UL863B, 42UL863N, 42UL863R

  • HP Envy 5540: Firmware that limit the 3 cartons of parts

    Hello

I been using the printer for 2 months and have not had a problem until now. Recently, I bought a rebuilt for her H62XL black ink cartridge and the printer does not accept it because apparently only original cartridges can be used with the printer.

I searched forums online and discovered that this was linked to an update firmware created by HP a few months ago.

Also read in the forum that HP intended to reverse these firmwares to make 3rd party or re-used cartridges to be accepted by the printers but couldn't find these updates of firmware for OfficeJet series.

I would like to know if there will be updates available to reverse these limitations for HP Envy 5540 and where I can find.

    See you soon

Oh, that's different!   The cartridge you installed has been used in this printer or another printer who enjoyed the Protection of cartridge market.   This cartridge can ONLY be used as in the printer is was protected in.  Period.  There's no way to reverse this error.

Make sure you have your printer cartridge Protection is disabled!   Integrated Web server to check this setting.

But when I check the Intel website for a new firmware for 'Mobile Series Express Chipset Family Intel® 4' (the graphic chipset on Toshiba Satellite L300) there is something interesting: my current driver is 7.15.10.1502 and there is a driver available from 23/10/2010 15.17.12.2226... Try installing this driver through the Device Manager.
There, you have to choose the Advanced installation procedure and must point to the driver files, stored on the HARD drive.
This will force the operating system select this driver.

  • Constant extreme airport issues

IM really hoping someone has an idea of my problem.

My setup is a 6th GEN airport connected to the modem with an ethernet cable from one end of the House to the other linking to my extreme gen 4. It worked great for about a month. The 4th gen now has about once a week, connectivity problems that are set if I unplug ethernet services and plug it in again. Ive tried to turn everything down and back several times and it suits him for a few days. Then the same problem. I got the firmware, and my average idle speed. After two days, that it happened again. Ive also done resets hard on the extreme. I have 150mbps service and usually can get 80mbps out of this (5 ' of him sitting) with my macbook and iPhone 6 s. but lately, even when his work Im getting around 50mbps.

Another problem is that my mini retina iPad gets only on the 4th generation extreme 30mbps.

Someone has any ideas why have these issues? Or why my iPad gets these terrible compared to my iPhone and my macbook wifi speeds (2011)? Should I buy a new express or would I using the same technology?

A 4th Gen AirPort Extreme is not quite 5 years or as much as 6 + depending on where you bought the product originally.  Five years on average--is on the useful life of a router designed for home use, so it's maybe a factor here in your question.

I have 150mbps service and usually can get 80mbps this (5 ft of him sitting) with my macbook

This is another clue that the radio wireless and power have been heading downhill for a while.  I wouldn't be too concerned with speed on iPhone and iPad... they are always much slower than the Mac here.

If it were me, I would try a new AirPort Extreme... knowing that Apple offers a day 14 return priviildge for Exchange or refund. If the new AirPort Extreme is not much better in terms of performance, then you can return it.

Should I buy a new express or would I using the same technology?

I don't think you really want an AirPort Express. The Ethernet port is limited to 100 Mbps on the Express, then it would be the theoretical maximum speed wireless that it could never achieve.

Right now, I'm trying a new service of 300 Mbps of my ISP as a test.  I have an AirPort Extreme... about two years as the main router in the office and another AirPort Extreme... for 1 year at the other end of the House.  Wireless speeds are right at 300 Mbps + when I check. Ethernet speeds come at 320-330 Mbits/s or more.  But a new iPhone will be only about 80 Mbps and an iPad 2 years will be about 100.  Nature of the beast, with iOS devices.

  • Toshiba DVD - ROM SD-M1612 cannot read a burned disc

    Hello

I have a problem. I wonder if anyone can help please.
I tried to view a DVD-R on my pc using my dvd player which is a Toshiba DVD - ROM SD-M1612, but it keeps giving me the same error message:
Windows cannot read from the disk, it is may be corrupted or in a format that windows recognizes.

The disc was burned on another computer and plays very well on this and on a normal dvd player, so I excluded that the disc is damaged.
After talking to some people, they suggested me update called firmware?
I looked at this and can't find it anywhere on Toshibas support or downloads pages feel like looking for a needle in a haystack :)

I have provided this figure as it apparently is the firmware that is currently installed on the pc.
I wonder if anyone knows where I can get the current version and if it will help me perhaps discovered the burned DVD-R.

    Hello

Sometimes this happens to me also, and to be honest it's nothing unusual.
All CD or DVD is supported by the CD/DVD drive.
I put t know what laptop you have, but in most cases the user's Guide provides information and details on the mids compatible and taken in charge.

I ve experience with TDK CD and DVDs and I convinced Mr. I ve tired different CDs and DVDs from various manufacturers and all were not entirely compatible.

The update of the firmware is not always a solution, but it is sometimes useful to improve compatibility. The update of the firmware can be downloaded from the Assembly of the computer.
It seems that Toshiba provides updates of the firmware for the series of notebook clean on the European driver Toshiba page.

To cut a long story short, try a few different CD or DVD from different manufacturers and check what support is no longer supported.

    Good bye

  • Replicate EQL in a group with several pools

I wonder how and if you even go about it.

I'm replying to a group of elders without in our disaster recovery site which have speeds of 10 k - 7.2 k disks. Yes I know its DR, but I split the san 3-10 k in a pool and 2-7 k san in a pool.

How to reproduce 1 prod to 10 k of the pool and 2 Volume to the pool 7 k?

Whenever I looked there delegation of space I could not understand how to remove specifically 1 pool or in the other, and if it would still be selectable during replication.

So is this possible WITHOUT cut it pools in their own groups.

    Anyone?

    Hello, Tsz109...

With PS Series firmware v8 and later versions, you can assign space for delegates in several pools, and the whole storage space can be used in the replication group. Delegate space can be assigned in one, some, or all the pools. Prior to firmware, delegated PS Series v8 space was restricted to a storage pool for a particular replication partner. Also, in the PS firmware v8 series and later, you can configure a mapping between primary and secondary pools for original replica set placement.

  • Convert software SRW2048 SG300

In my view, the SRW series is the same as basic material the SG300 series.

Is there a way to update the firmware on the series SRW using firmware SG300?

The SG300 firmware is much more usable. Also I'd rather have consistency we have the old SRW2024/48 and new switches SG300.

    Bob

    David,

    You are on point.

the 300 series is an Update replacement and hardware and software of the oldest product SRW.

If you have purchased order p/n SRW2008 the updated version here in the United States that's so order p/n SRW2008-K9-NA

We made the change in order p/n for reasons of consistency so that if you ordered SRW2008 in the past you order now SRW2008-K9-xx

where xx is a code region for regulatory requirements and power.

SRW2008 was a linksys product while replacing, SRW2008-K9-NA, is for example a Cisco product that now takes care of switching L3, IPv6 and a bearable CLI and a whole bunch of new features.

    SRW2008-K9-NA has a cisco SG300-10 p/n internal.

Refer to the following table a wide for some clarity on this subject.

    This table has been copied and pasted from the public announcement of the EOL, to October 2010 referenced in the URL that follows;

  • BSOD ntoskernel.exe and other things

So for the 6 last month or two, I suffered from BSOD in windows 8.  I never had these problems under windows 7.  I ran Windows memory for 6-8 hours diagnostic tool without a single error. I have 32 GB of RAM, but problems did not begin to show until the path after that I installed these bars of memory.  in any case

I had a memory of different errors.  I enclose all my files to dump.  This is probably my last try to fix the BSOD on Windows 8, all in all I love the system, it is fast and great ussually, less the BSOD big kitten... I would maybe go back to Win 7 just because of this.

    The files are here: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=721D30CA0DCAF2A0! 123 & authkey =! AEzyZpzUF5pzxSk
I added the dump files in a zip

Thanks for the update and information. Looks like we found the culprit.

    Kind regards

  • Investigation of Toshiba TL938 service menu

    Hello

I just bought TL938 TV. It was the last in the store and worked as a sample.
Is there a way to check its hours of service? I believe that in the menu service should have such an option, judging from my old Samsung LCD TV. Thanks in advance.

I can't speak from personal experience, because I have not used the service mode. I found two informal sources (but what TV manufacturer makes public access to service mode?) who seem to be Concord on this method:

_I. Toshiba LCD Service Menu Code_

    1. press the {MENU} button on the remote control.
    2. turn on the icon 'picture '.
    3. press the {9} {3} {0} {1} on the remote control buttons.
The Service Menu appears with the following Modes:
    'Options' - 'adjustments' - 'Selections '.
    4. use the {OK} button to access and navigate between these Modes
    5. to change the use of values {FLIGHT +} {(VOL-) {P} + {P}-}
    6. to exit, press {MENU} button.

II. Another (?) way: how to access to a Toshiba Service Menu_

    1. turn on the Toshiba TV. You can either press the button on the remote control or the button on the remote control itself.
    2. press the "Mute" button on the remote three times.
    3. press "Mute" again and hold, then press the "Menu" button on the side of the TV.
    4. release both buttons together at the same time. You will see a ' happen on the television screen.
    5. press on the "Menu" key once more on the side of the TV. You will now be in Mode 'Service' of the Toshiba television.

What I haven't lived successfully on my TL938, however, is the so-called "clone mode" when you use 'Toshiba Channel Editor' request for official sources:
    http://www.Toshiba-OM.NET/firmware.php
I followed the instructions according to the PDF ' ToshibaEdit Quick-English manual ' downloaded from here:
    http://portalcp.toshiba-tro.de/documents/10781/6dd55351-6749-41e7-8d21-cb5b8b7b07f9

    _Enter Mode_ TV Clone:

    1. press on "MUTE" on the remote control.
    2. press on "MUTE" again and keep holding down.
02:03 press "VOL -" button direct control TV
(depending on your model, this can be either a button key or a front sensor side)
    4. the Clone Mode will be displayed.
    5. Select 'TV USB' or 'USB to TV '.

  • Where can I find Firmware Restoration CD 1.3 to download?

I need to reflash an old Mac Mini. Through documentation of the Web site located at Firmware Restoration CD 1.4, it said I needed to download the Firmware Restoration CD 1.3, which does not exist. Anyone know where I can find it?

Firmware Restoration CD 1.4 - Apple Support is the first thing that appears on a Google search.
