7 merger supports a mouse with 3 buttons?

Hello

7 merger will recognize the Middle click button in a 3 button mouse, as it is recognized in Windows native mode?

My CAD programs has panoramic rotation of functions associated with this event, as it is a replacement of the Enter key to accept the dialog windows.

Should it matter: I have a mouse Logitech of area T400

Everything works well in native mode of bootcamp

Thank you!

Hey Wil,

I think that the mouse and keyboard events are indeed passed between the host and the guest. The evidence is that the mouse works even if the USB receiver never must be connected to the guest.

Well, it is now resolved! The cause was double.

First of all, it turns out that the T400 mouse has 4 buttons, not 3. The MMR was actually 2 switches (one in front, one back). It also recognizes the event when both are supported at the same time. So, I realized that by clicking on the back of the button already gave the desired event (good ol ' MMB). Only by pressing forward or both when giving LeftCmd.

Secondly, I think that Logitech Control Center 3.9.1, even when he says that the mouse is not recognized not allowing you to change the settings (bug), it installs it a demon of work and comes with default remappings, who were of the substitution of the remappings of carabiner.

Carabiner developer was kind enough to provide a custom remapping and after you completely remove LCC, Unifying and SteerMouse, everything works like charm!

Thanks for all the help everyone!

  • How to use a USB mouse with 8 Thinkpad?

    Hello!

    I would like to know how to use a USB mouse with 8 Thinkpad. Here in the Brazil, Lenovo does not sell any micro USB USB converters. So, I found on the market several options, but mainly focused for Android tablets and smartphones and not Windows 8.1 devices. He will work with a converter OTG? It supports this type of technology?

    Thank you!!

    You can use any cable USB OTG, it's just the cable and two connectors. I use this Setup with USB keyboard. But it is more convenient to use a Bluetooth wireless mouse.

  • HP X4000b Bluetooth mouse with HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 t-j100 Quad Edition CTO Notebook

    I bought a XP X4000b Bluetooth mouse as a gift for a friend to use with their HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 t-J100 Quad Edition CTO Notebook with Windows 8.1 update 1.  She has developed a very strong aversion to the use of the touchpad of the notebook and has often been expressed that she preferred to use a mouse instead of the touchpad.  Especially for copy and move files between different folders.

    My questions are:

    1 hardware/software of the Touchpad should be disabled or uninstalled before the mouse Bluetooth software and hardware is introduced in order to prevent any conflict?

    2. other than the need to activate Bluetooth support, are there other settings of control panel which will have to be modified in order to use the Bluetooth mouse?

    Thank you.

    lkmcmillen,

    I regret that the document was not useful for you.

    For the Touchpad is disabled, in general you can use both the keyboard and the wireless mouse at the same time. Some computers have a disable command set by default when you add a wireless mouse. It is an option found in Control Panel > devices and printers > mouse that can be enabled or disabled depending on whether you want to use the mouse or not.

    Here is a video on how to for Activate the TouchPad on and off easily according to your preferences when you use a wireless mouse.

    I am including the HP X4000b Bluetooth Pairing User Guide, which explains how to pair your mouse with the computer according to the operating system. What I see in the guide, there are no other settings to change otherwise than to turn on Bluetooth and add the device.

    I hope that is the information that you have when you are looking for.

    Best of luck and have a great day!

    On my mouse Logitech (Wireless Trackball) I can set it so that when I click on the scroll wheel, it works as the ENTER key.  It's so convenient because I don't have to move my hand to the mouse to keyboard over and over.  To do this on my Logitech, I'll where preferences are set for the scroll wheel and one of the options is "Typing assignment" I put next to the ENTER key.

    Does anyone know if I can also put the HP wireless mouse (which came with my Touchsmart 600) this way so that when I click the scroll wheel down, it acts as an ENTER key?

    If not, can someone explain what is supposed to happen when I click on the scroll wheel?  (I don't speak scroll with it, but clicking down.)  As far as I know, nothing happens in the current configuration.

  • Dialogue with radio buttons

    Honourable experts,

    I'm on Win7 64 bit, CS6 (ID 8.1.0.420).

    Script of skills - somewhere in the "Very basic" level

    Now try to adopt, my needs, a dialog box with radio buttons, as in Script UI v2-2 Peter Kahrel, pdf, page 17:

    var w = new Window ("dialog");
    var radio_group = w.add ("panel");
    radio_group.alignChildren = "left";
    radio_group.add ("radiobutton", undefined, "InDesign");
    radio_group.add ("radiobutton", undefined, "PDF");
    radio_group.add ("radiobutton", undefined, "IDML");
    radio_group.add ("radiobutton", undefined, "Text");
    w.add ("button", undefined, "OK");
    // set dialog defaults
    radio_group.children[0].value = true;
    function selected_rbutton (rbuttons)
    {
    for (var i = 0; i < rbuttons.children.length; i++)
    if (rbuttons.children[i].value == true)
    return rbuttons.children[i].text;
    }
    if (w.show () == 1)
    alert ("You picked " + selected_rbutton (radio_group))

    My version is designed for operation on the text selected (with the text tool). And here's the problem.

    After selecting the text with Ctrl + A, or shift + end or Ctrl + Shift + end - then - hit KB shortcut assigned to the script I usually 'loose' the mouse pointer. It is still there, but turns out is invisible on the entire InDesign window. "Usually" means approximately 5-6, 10 times... Who escapes from the script window and still hit the shortcut script works - next try mouse pointer remains visible. Until you select another part of the text...

    If the text has been selected with the mouse - or - script is invoked by double-clicking its name in the actions palette, everything goes well, always. Also works well with other types of selection.

    Changing shortcut KB has no effect.

    Replace a mouse has no effect. Microsoft (wired) and mouse optical Logitech (wireless) tested.

    However:

    on a system that is completely up-to-date (Windows 10 Pro N, 1511 version, build 10586,63 x 64 / InDesign CC 2015.2, to build a 11.2.0.100 x 64) it works - there is no mouse pointer disappears.

    Have not the opportunity to test on any other configuration now.

    Could someone confirm this mouse related volatility on Win7/CS6, or is it quite unique in my system?

    And another question:

    Is it possible to activate here cycling through radio buttons to arrow keys, as he works in the script of this Marc Autret?

    http://www.Indiscripts.com/post/2009/09/clean-up-your-pasteboard

    He would let me live with the 1st problem unsolved... Anyway, the keyboard-based workflow is preferable.

    Behold, this is my version changed so far. However, it comes in the same way as described above.

    w=new Window("dialog", "Code");
    radio=w.add("panel", undefined, "Choose Action");
    w.alignChildren="fill";
    radio.optionbtns=radio.add("group");
    radio.optionbtns.orientation="column";
    option1=w.add("radiobutton", undefined, "Action One");
    option2=w.add("radiobutton", undefined, "Action Two");
    option3=w.add("radiobutton", undefined, "Action Three");
    option4=w.add("radiobutton", undefined, "Action Four");
    option1.value = true;
    w.add ("button", undefined, "OK");
                if (w.show() == 1){
         if (option1.value == true)
         {alert("Action One!"); exit();};
         if (option2.value == true)
         {alert("Action Two!"); exit();};
         if (option3.value == true)
         {alert("Action Three!"); exit();};
          if (option4.value == true)
         {alert("Action Four!"); exit();};
        }
    {
        exit();
        };

    Your comments are greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    I created a button to achieve one thing: mouse over the button to play the music and the mouse to stop the music.

    I have six buttons on the same page. I tried to use the snippet of script, but was not enough knowledge to cusotmize it. Anyone can share code, or point me to resources?

    Thank you very much!

    that would be ok but for flash point has a very special meaning, then you must NOT use it in a class name, name of the variable etc.

    If you have used, instead of using a class sound.mp3, sound_mp3 or soundMP3 or soundmp3, you'd be ok.  convention class names start with a capital letter, so you can as well use the correct convention: SoundMP3, Sound_mp3 or Soundmp3 etc.
