Hello

Tap into a SATA power connector open using a molex to SATA Adapteror use a SATA to molex splitter.   NewEgg.com offers plenty of choices that should meet your needs.

  • Problem with the selection of results that meet all the criteria and not only some

    Hey guys.

    The best way to describe it would probably be by the code:
    SELECT sup.SuppCode, sup.SuppName, sup.PostCode
    FROM Suppliers sup, Stocks stk
    WHERE stk.Price >
    (SELECT avg(Price) FROM Stocks)
    AND sup.SuppCode = stk.SuppCode;
    Who selects the items (not actually posted) providers who have a higher than average price.
    It gets the items that are above average and neglects those below average, but I want to show him only the suppliers where ALL of their items are above average and not just some of them.
    For example, provider supplies A couple of points 1 and 2 and they are all two higher than the average price supplier A is displayed
    Supplier B provides two points 3 and 4 and only 4 exceeds the average so supplier B is not displayed.

    I think it's trivial, but I can't seem to get by. :(

    Any help would be much appreciate.

    Thank you.

    Something like

    SELECT sup.SuppCode, sup.SuppName, sup.PostCode
      FROM Suppliers sup
     WHERE NOT EXISTS (
        SELECT 1
          FROM Stocks stk
         WHERE sup.SuppCode = stk.SuppCode
           AND stk.price <= (SELECT AVG(price) FROM Stocks)
      )

    Who finds all the suppliers that no stock which is lower than the average price, which is identical to the suppliers who only things above average price of stock.

  • cRIO only with switch ethernet connection and the computer

    Hello

    I use a cRIO-9073 connected via an ethernet switch and then to my computer and also connected to the corporate network. The cRIO connects fine (I can interact with the remote façade on the cRIO) using this method, but I can't view the remote façade when I connect just my computer for the cRIO via the ethernet switch. Where can I find the method of connection to cRIO by ethernet switch?

    Thank you

    Note: I configured manually my computer an arbitrary IP address and the subnet mask when you use only the ethernet, cRIO combo switch, no network. But I can't repeat the cRIO connection, there may be a step I'm missing.

    bermea,

    Hello! Let me be sure I understand your problem and then make a sugguestion.

    You have your PC and the cRIO connected to an ethernet switch that is also connected to your company network and you are able to see the cRIO to the MAX. However, when you have disconnected your network switch companies, leaving only the PC and the cRIO connected, you are more able to use the cRIO or see in MAX. Is this correct?

    It seems that you have indicated that you have setup your PC to have a static IP address for when it is disconnected from the network. If this is the case, you must also set the cRIO to have a static IP address. Here are some documents that can help you do this.

  • Computer TouchSmart HP Envy 17 t 2 weeks without a break stop at or just after the connection

    Hello

    I really need help because I am pulling all my hair out with frustration. Here are the details:

    I got a new Notebook HP TouchSmart 17 t for my birthday last week. I'm a developer and a code about 15 hours a day, and my laptop 15 inch 3 years was certainly an obstacle. Needless to say, I was very excited by envy, especially 17-inch screen.

    That excitement lasted about 2 days.

    In the first two days of use, I installed all the Windows, Windows updates 8.1, Chrome, Visual Studio, SQL Server 2012 and Management Studio, MySQL Workbench, Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, and Avast. The system will periodically re-start during this time, but he wasn't even epidemic.

    But from about the 3rd day, the computer began to stop more frequently. Initially, it was once every 30 minutes or so, but then increased rapidly so it restarted at or just after the login screen 9 of the 10 startups. Every 10th reboot or so, the computer will allow me to connect and I immediately try troubleshoot it before it will re-start again in 5 minutes or less.

    The only thing I could think of that changed on the 3rd day is I installed Kaspersky to replace Avast (the laptop came with a 1 year free Kaspersky subscription). I didn't know if it was the culprit, or if I had a lemon of a computer that was overheating because of hardware problems, but to be sure, I tried to uninstall it. However, the computer wouldn't stay long enough for me to do.  I couldn't even in HP Recovery to restore the system.

    Fortunately, I had burned the recovery DVDs and was able to start the recovery tool by booting from the DVD. I restored the computer configuration with minimal additional software installed (restore failed the on the first trial to 99% complete, but the second test was a success). I was really hoping this would solve the problem so I can start using my new laptop.

    No luck.

    The first time I turned on the computer after the restore, it immediately starts close to, or just after the screen connection again. As before, I am able to use the computer for 5 minutes every 10th reboot or so before it restarts. During those rare moments, I was able to enter the power management settings to turn off sleep and Hibernate, given that several forum posts which indicate as a potential culprit. However, the computer won't stay long enough to install updates of window or Windows 8.1, or to ensure that all drivers are up-to-date.

    Furthermore, I believe that the BIOS flashed when Windows 8.1 has been installed and I wonder if it needs to be reset. (I don't think the restoration process reactivates the BIOS to its original settings, but I have really no idea.)

    Anyway, here I am with a new laptop that I can not use.  I don't know if it's a driver problem, software conflict, hardware problem, problem of BIOS or something else. Needless to say, I am very frustrated and I would really appreciate suggestions.

    Thank you

    Tom

    Tom, welcome to the forum.

    This isn't how HP computers to run.  I strongly suggest that return you it and get another HP computer that works.  If it does not work long enough to install the updates, it will very probably not get much better.  I want to help you to save your hair!

  • Get only the users that correspond to all the links

    Apparently a very simple problem, but I can't seem to understand.

    Below is a table that contains the user's and LinkId name.

    CREATE TABLE UserLink (UserId NUMBER, LinkId NUMBER );
    ALTER TABLE UserLink ADD PRIMARY KEY (UserId, LinkId);
    INSERT INTO UserLink VALUES (1, 1);
    INSERT INTO UserLink VALUES (1, 2);
    INSERT INTO UserLink VALUES (3, 1);
    INSERT INTO UserLink VALUES (4, 1);

    I am looking for a query in which I can plug a LinkId list that shows only users who have a relationship with of all THE LinkId condition.

    In this example, you can assume that the list is equal to (1, 2), but you can not make all the assumptions concerning the size of the list, except the size! = 0.

    The query to search for users that match to THE provided LinkId is quite simple:

    SELECT UserId FROM UserLink
    WHERE LinkId IN (1,2)

    The correct query should output:

    USERID
    ------
    1

    And it should work for any > 0 see size of values.

    Here's one way:

    with ID_LIST as (select 1 LINKID from DUAL union all select 2 from DUAL)
    select distinct USERID from USERLINK a
     where not exists (
                      select LINKID from ID_LIST
                      minus
                      select B.LINKID
                        from USERLINK B
                       where B.USERID=a.USERID
                     )
    ;

    11 g here's a different way using UNPIVOT to generate the list of link IDS.  It is perhaps less bulky than a long list of UNION all.

    with ID_LIST as (select  1 a,2 b from DUAL)
    select distinct USERID from USERLINK a
     where not exists (
                      select LINKID from ID_LIST UNPIVOT (LINKID for COL in(a,b))
                      minus
                      select B.LINKID
                        from USERLINK B
                       where B.USERID=a.USERID

  • Impossible to turn off read-only - and I already checked the Security tab

    Hello, I use Vista Ultimate.  I'm on my home computer and have full administrative rights.  Have a big problem trying to get the recovery off the power on a personal folder read-only.  It is NOT a folder on a network or is a system folder.  When I go in the folder and click on the Security tab, ALL users have full right to make any changes.    No error displayed whenever I then deselect read only on the general tab, click on or .  But when I re - open the folder and check the properties, read-only is still active.  It's driving me crazy.  HELP!?!?!?!

    And Yes, I tried this:

    "To view or to remove the read-only or the attributes of system files in Windows Vista

    1. Click on start, run, type cmd and press ENTER...
    2. To view the syntax for the Attrib command, Type attrib------? at the command prompt.

    To remove the read-only attribute and to set the system attribute, use the following command:

    attrib - r + s drive:------------

    For example, to remove the read-only attribute and set the attribute to system for the C:\Test folder, use the following command:

    attrib - r + s c:\test

    Be aware that some programs may not operate correctly with folders for which the read-only attribute and the system attribute are granted. Therefore, use the following command to remove these attributes:

    attrib - r s by car:------------

    For example, to remove both the read-only and the attributes to system for the C:\Test folder, use the following command:

    attrib - r-s c:\test

    If the run command is not listed in the start menu, follow these steps:

    Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, and then click Run."

    And get an error that says: parameter Incorrect Format.

    Have you checked to see if the files in the folder are effectively read-only or if the only problem is that the file is checked in read-only?

    You may need to go higher in the chain of record because some properties are inherited (see advanced security of the folder until you come to one where the special permissions list including all permissions that are inherited for administrators or your user account). It does not stick because you don't have the permissions and/or ownership to allow you to make the change.  You must have permissions to full right for all folders (both on the main page and in the special permissions list) and you will have to take possession of the records as well.  Then change the ownership and permissions for yourself and administrators and don't forget to check the box for all files and subdirectories.  This should give you what you need to make the changes.  Here is some information that might help.

    To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista:http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/. To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

    To solve this problem with folders, folders takeownership or the reader (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html. To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck1

  • HP Envy 750-197c Desktop: you can add a SSD internal flash disk to the envy of HP 750-197c Desktop

    You can add an internal SSD to the envy of HP 750 - 197c Desktop that has a 2 TB drive installed?

    DMSIceman, welcome to the forum.

    Yes, you can move the HARD disk and install an SSD.  You will need to buy at least a 128 GB SSD.  Here is the data sheet for the computer.

    The best way to install an SSD is to leave the current HARD drive as it came from the factory.  Connect the SSD drive to another SATA port on the motherboard.  Install the software of Migration data provided by the SSD manufacturer on the HARD drive.  Once installed, open it and follow the instructions carefully.  You choose the SSD as a target.  After the data is transferred from the HDD to the SSD, you can disconnect the HARD drive and start the computer.  It should start on the SSD.  Then, you can disconnect the SSD to the first SATA connector and move to another Bay HARD drive and connect it to another SATA port on the motherboard.  You can use it for storage.

    I like the SSD Samsung EVO.  Samsung offers its data Migration software to clone HARD drive.  In addition, they provide their software Wizard to optimize the performance of the SSD.  You can find all the software at the bottom of the page in the link I provided for the EVO.  The Samsung SSD were good about starting in HP computers without changing the BIOS settings.  You will need to buy an adapter to allow the reader to 2.5 "to fit into a 3.5 Bay".
