  Run the program.  It will give you a list of everything that is running when you upgrade Windows.  Start with the 'Connection' tab and see if you can find any startup item that corresponds to your Sonic Activation error.  Then simply uncheck the box in front of him and put an end to the program.

  A couple of months, my daughter opened a video on utube.  The screen on my laptop turned blue with white writing and the volume went crazy.  Had to hold the close button.  Since then, whenever I open a page, a security box appears telling me the page contains elements safe and secure, that I want to display the non secure items?  I used for the display of this box on occasion, now it is on each page.  I ran windows security and norton scans and both find nothing.  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem, because it drives me crazy.  Thanks in advance

  You have a virus, here's what you need to do. Download and install malwarebytes of: http://malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free, be sure to update before running a full scan. If you cannot run the program at all, you will need to download a few programs of this site: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix it, you should get back on track.

  Also, you may have a browser redirection problem. Go to your IE tools--> internet options--> Connections tab, then click lan setting and make sure that the only box to checked in it is automatically detect settings.

  Hi Paul,.

  This assumes that you are running Windows 7.

  Download and install Revo Uninstaller from the link below.

  Run revo and use it to uninstall your HP MediaSmart DVD software.  Make a right click on the program icon you want to remove and select uninstall.  During the process, that you may be asked to remove the registry entries, simply select all and then click on remove.  Do the same for any left over files and folders.  Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the PC.

  Then, download the latest installer for MediaSmart DVD on the link below and save it to your desktop.

  If you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip.  Right click on the installation program you download, select Extract 7 - Zip, select the files, and then click Ok.  Open the newly extracted folder, open src and scroll down until you see the application setup ( 6th in the background with a size of 310 KB ).  This Application Configuration right click and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once the installation is complete, restart the computer and see if you can now read your Blu - ray discs.

  So I got this program and it worked fine when I got windows 7.  Then I STUPIDLY upgraded to windows 10 and we don't like it so I uninstalled Windows 10 and adobe has stopped working.  I tried to install it and it said I had a version on my computer... I investigated and found out that I did.  I tried unistalling it is but it present a particular file that I can't uninstall but its this same file, which also prevents installation... the name of the file is the following: C:\ProgramData\adobe\setup\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AB0000000001}\Acroread.msi for Adobe Reader XI (11.0.12).  I tried to manually install it and same thing.  I deleted all the history and cache, start and restart the computer.  I'm also getting the error message "the installation source for this product is not available.  Verify that the source exists and that you can access.  any help would be greatly appreciated.
