  In order to provide the correct graphic driver, I need to know if your laptop's graphics card Intel or AMD/Intel switchable graphics.

  If there is just a standard vga card listed, then you probably need just the driver intel graphics.

  I recently formatted my notebook compaq presario v3749au without the recovery disks, because my cd drive does not work. When I saw in the Device Manager, it says that 'sm bus controller, coprocessor and base system device' drivers are missing.   Hello world!

  A few days ago I received an error message that my device Base and an unidentified device system no longer have the drivers installed for them (Code 28). This can happen after my last update of Windows, but I'm not too sure. When I try to update the drivers of the device for each Device Manager, Windows cannot find a driver for the device.

  I did some more research on the IDS of devices. the first two are card reading devices, you must download the drivers for the card reader for windows 7 and try editing them. Finally we're finfer sensor print driver.

  Why is it so hard to find a solution for this?

  Don't know what happened. The next thing I know - I don't have a CD/DVD-rom - that works - it disappears from the list of device - and "Base system device" Manager in his place with an exclamation point with it... with 3-4 other items in the list no longer works. ???   Looks like the motherboard is endangered.  Very common with this model.
