  • How to print double-sided in In Design when certain sections have an odd number of pages?

I'm new to In Design and I'm doing something that seems pretty basic and the difficulty in finding ways to do it and I have not found anything in the Adobe Forum or online that responds to this situation.

I'm working on a document that is divided into sections, with page numbering starts at Page 1 for each section.  I have mirror image layouts for odd pages and even masters - for example, the page number is on the left on even pages and to the right of the odd pages, as you would expect generally to see on a double-sided print, where in a workbook or a workbook, the even-numbered pages are on the left and odd pages are on the right.

I print the document from my computer to a printer that supports double-sided printing.  I don't see any option in the file / print window to two face impression, so I put this option on the printer itself by using the [Setup...] button at the bottom of the window.  It works - I'm printing on both sides of sheets of paper.

For the moment, the first section is 3 pages (two blocks spread with the first page, one with the other two).  The next starts of section by number 1 on the third page spread (one page) and continues then a two-page spread - as expected.

That is the problem - the first page of the second section is printing on the back of the last sheet of the first section, rather than on a new sheet from the front - so when I put it in a binder, the odd pages are on the same pages on the right and the left.  Whenever I have reached the end of another section with an odd number of pages, she rotates on itself again.

There is a workaround solution manual I found - browse the document and add a blank page at the end of each section that has an odd number of pages (and check "print blank Pages).  But I have to do every time I feel that I am adding new pages and add/remove blank pages the number at each change of sections.

I can't believe that In Design does not provide a way to make this work correctly, I'm sure a lot of people have had this same situation, and I hope it is something simple that just, I have not been able to understand...

    Help! (Thanks!  B ^)

Frankly, it's a feature of the years, I tried, and I expect a professional page layout application to have. Something on the order of "duplex respect page layout." It would be very useful when printing only part of a document that happens to start with a page of pairs.

I do catalogs in the sections, and each section begins with a left page. When duplex printing a section given, I must print this page first separately and duplex then the rest. Kind of pain and should not be necessary.

  • Bluetooth on Satellite P100 - how can I put it to "always receive"?

Evening chaps - I have never posted on these boards before because I've never really had the need, I've done very well solve the problems in the past by looking around. The people here seem pretty useful and all the advice was clear and useful. But now I have a little problem that I could do with a helping hand, f someone is ready...

I'm a DJ, running a Toshiba P100, play videos, athletics tracks and generally VJ - ing it for my players. I also want to run a slide show that comes under my VJ software, including pctures beamed in by clients. However, every time I have sent a photo / file by Bluetooth, I have togo through the wholw Pálava to manually accept the file as part of Toshiba Bluetooth. In an ideal world, what I would like is to set up the allincoming files to save automatically to a folder that I can keep an eye on and drag - move those I want to use it as I hear it.

Anyone know of any proceedings or of the dialog to allow my P100 receive files in a frame 'Always On '?

Run, have to revert to my concert tonight, it is. In advance, thank you for any advice you can give me...

    See you soon.

You can do the following to disable confirms the window of reception for files and images:

    Start "Bluetooth settings"-> Bluetooth-> Options...-> security-> custom level...:

-> Bluetooth information interchange: tick 'display a confirmation message upon receipt through File Transfer (FTP) '.
-> Security setting for transferring files (FTP): check "perform authentication and encryption (server).
The last parameter is optional, but highly recommended.
    -----
-> Bluetooth information interchange: check "display a confirmation message upon receipt through Push (OPP) of the object.
-> Object Push (OPP) security setting: check "perform authentication and encryption (server).
The last parameter is optional, but highly recommended.
    -----
-> Bluetooth information interchange: tick 'display a message of confirmation receipt by Image Transfer (BEEP) '.
-> Security transfer of Image (BEEP) setting: check "perform authentication and encryption (server).
The last parameter is optional, but highly recommended.
    -----

The last setting require once (first transfer) to enter any password (for example, 3298) on laptop and the same as that on the side sending device.
Not required for other assignments. This forbidden that any unknown person cannot send files without your awareness (as you know a confirmation window will appear no more) to your laptop.

    Start "Bluetooth settings"-> Bluetooth-> Options...-> Bluetooth information interchange-> advanced...-> Image transfer / file transfer / Object Push...:
Here, you can set default folders Inbox of the applications received. May be, of course, always the same.

  • How can you put a movie downloaded in the cloud on a mac?

I have a mac and I don't have any room. I was hoping to put my movies in the cloud, as you can do on an iPad that I could spread them and they were not occupy all this space. Is this possible? If so, how?

Are movies on iTunes Store purchases?  Or movies that you manually added to iTunes from an external source library?

  • using word 2008, how can I stop print double-sided?

Using osx 10.9.4 Mavericks on a mini mac MS Office 2008 for mac HP Envy 4500 printer. Whenever I print a document larger than one page, the printer automatically prints on both sides. The only way to stop this is to print a page at a time which is a pain in the rear. I click the colate box to disable this feature, but it makes no difference. I went into system preferences (this site seems to suggest I go to printers and faxes, but there is no such thing, it's printers and scanners), but there is no way to disable this option. If I print documents from a music notation software, there is a box to put the two sides feel, but not in word. I print guitar and drum tablature for students and two sided useless when the students, both hands are busy playing an instrument and cannot turn pages! Any help would be appreciated! BTW, wireless printing does not work also and I got an error message when you try to install the latest driver. I don't care actually on good wireless printing. I only mention this in case my problem is a driver problem.

    Hello
Please follow the steps below to disable two-sided printing:

The application used to print, click the file menu, click on print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to see all the available parameters.

Click on the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

    Set the duplex as Off.

You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset. By default, a used preset will remain until another preset will be used.

    Kind regards
    Shlomi
