  • Affecting HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 without borders on and printing double-sided "return on the long edge.

I want enabled no border and return on the long edge, I got another printer installation.  But on the 8610, I get the same dialog box and chose of ' keep this setting, and I will change it later ", but it does not allow me to have the two settings in this way.

    I have some WONDERFUL NEWS!

The 8610 printer (and it was the printer 8600) replaces my HP
OfficeJet 9110, which I've owned for about a decade.

My "existing" Linux computer cannot print on it.  (I have a very old)
Version of CUPS and at the time I gave it - and I don't have a lot of time
-I have not been able to install a more recent version.)  But, my most recent office
Computer Linux is a system of 20 of Fedora.  (And, the goal is to have the most recent
Linux Desktop become my Linux after I get everything copied and
    configured for it).

Last week, I installed a new version of HPLIP on it.  Is not only
It give me the ability to print in duplex/duplex, but it also prints
    without borders!

I am able to print without margins and double-sided printing, using half of the book
    Once again!

I'm happy with that resolved, now that I've installed marked HPLIP!  :-D

  • How to print double-sided in In Design when certain sections have an odd number of pages?

I'm new to In Design and I'm doing something that seems pretty basic and the difficulty in finding ways to do it and I have not found anything in the Adobe Forum or online that responds to this situation.

I'm working on a document that is divided into sections, with page numbering starts at Page 1 for each section.  I have mirror image layouts for odd pages and even masters - for example, the page number is on the left on even pages and to the right of the odd pages, as you would expect generally to see on a double-sided print, where in a workbook or a workbook, the even-numbered pages are on the left and odd pages are on the right.

I print the document from my computer to a printer that supports double-sided printing.  I don't see any option in the file / print window to two face impression, so I put this option on the printer itself by using the [Setup...] button at the bottom of the window.  It works - I'm printing on both sides of sheets of paper.

For the moment, the first section is 3 pages (two blocks spread with the first page, one with the other two).  The next starts of section by number 1 on the third page spread (one page) and continues then a two-page spread - as expected.

That is the problem - the first page of the second section is printing on the back of the last sheet of the first section, rather than on a new sheet from the front - so when I put it in a binder, the odd pages are on the same pages on the right and the left.  Whenever I have reached the end of another section with an odd number of pages, she rotates on itself again.

There is a workaround solution manual I found - browse the document and add a blank page at the end of each section that has an odd number of pages (and check "print blank Pages).  But I have to do every time I feel that I am adding new pages and add/remove blank pages the number at each change of sections.

I can't believe that In Design does not provide a way to make this work correctly, I'm sure a lot of people have had this same situation, and I hope it is something simple that just, I have not been able to understand...

    Help! (Thanks!  B ^)

Frankly, it's a feature of the years, I tried, and I expect a professional page layout application to have. Something on the order of "duplex respect page layout." It would be very useful when printing only part of a document that happens to start with a page of pairs.

I do catalogs in the sections, and each section begins with a left page. When duplex printing a section given, I must print this page first separately and duplex then the rest. Kind of pain and should not be necessary.

  • How to print pictures in color for the tray paper 8 x 11 rather than the photo paper tray

I have two questions... Why do I need a username to ask questions on the forum.  It's just a flat waste of my time and a gross attempt at the formation of the collection

Second - I want to print photos (such as web pages and other things) to my paper 8 x 11.  This 5740 insists that almost anything with the color goes from the photo paper tray.

I found it on the printers web page

  • Print double-sided of odd number of pages

I have Adobe Reader 10.0.2 instalied on my iMac Mac OS with a Canon Pixma iP4200 printer 10.6.7. Since the installation of this version of the player I came across a curious problem with PDF files print double face with an odd number of pages.

For example, a three page PDF printed double-sided file. The first page prints first, then pages 2 and 3 are printed double-sided. This leaves a blank page on the back of page 1 that is INCORRECT and was intrigued. Standard double-sided printing should have pages 1 and 2 back-to-back and page 3 with a blank page on the back.

All my other software on my iMac prints only odd numbered file double face properly. It's only the 10.0.2 player who has this problem and would like a solution.

I found a bug in the player software?

You can export the play list to Word with the exporter of Info Media plug-ins, which is part of the WMP9 series Winter Fun Pack 2003: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/wm_winterfun.mspx (do not worry about the label 'WMP9 Series', the plugin still works fine in newer versions).

To export the playlist, select the playlists in the left sidebar of WMP, right-click the playlist and select send to - Media Info exporter .

  • How to disable double-sided printing on HP jet Office 6700

I just bought a HP officejet 6700 premium for my iMac computer. I also installed Microsoft for my iMac. I don't want the duplex printer forever. I tried going to system preferences / printers, etc. and it directs me to the Web site of the printer. From there I can't find a way to change the default to double-sided printing to 'off '. What impression in Word, select print and then show presets, and it is said that double-sided are turned off, but still, it prints double-sided. I also tried to register a new printer with printing double-sided as off and it still prints double-sided. I also do not know how to change the default setting on the printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi crayric,

    We gladly invite you.

The above information refers to Mac OS X, however, I included the steps for the latest versions of OS X (10.7 or 10.8) because you did not mention the version of your operating system.

If you have an earlier version of the OS 10.6 or 10.5, you may need to click the icon shaped triangle next to the name of the printer to spend the print settings in the print dialog box.

For any question, please specify your exact OS version (you can find that out by clicking the Apple icon, then the about this Mac, also well let me know the exact Office for Mac version installed on your Mac (2004, 2008 or 2011).

  • HP Desk Jet of ink advantage 4535: double-sided printing - how do I put power on and off

Printing, my printer started to print double-sided. I can't find a preference or an option for this. I tried to restore the default settings, but it is still two-sided printing.

I guess the print function is the same on Mac and PC?

    If so, this should help:

OPEN a document and select PRINT, then select PRINT ON BOTH SIDES appearance PREFERENCES. Use the drop-down list (the down arrow in the box that reads probably FLIP ON LONG EDGE etc.) and select NONE. Click OK.

In windows, you can also use the command Ctrl + Shift + P to access the print dialog box when the PRINT button does not offer the options above. Not sure what the command is with Mac.

    Hope this helps
