a block appears 54K times as cr in v$ bh.

I took a test about 90 simultaneous sessions, each session inserted 100 lines in the following table with the length of 80K line
create table test_flist (a long raw) storage (freelists 59 FREELIST GROUPS 1);
I've seen a lot of buffer chain stay and find the hot block is the segment header
SQL> select status,count(*) from v$bh where file#=192 and block#=499209 group by status;
cr           54307
free           489
xcur             1
My question is: why oracle created so many blocks of cr in memory? In memory, oracle said guru creates only xcur for segment header (current only get segment header, there is no coherent get for the segment header), but here I've seen so many blocks of cr.

dump this block hot as follows

For Lewis points.
(a) Yes, there are several current switch to the new "buffer".
54K cr is so normal based on this point. But why oracle should create a cr which is not useful. 54 k blocks protected by a latch of cbc will have poor performance, but it seems that oracle needs that search the xcur block which is the first block of these 54 k, so we won't see not the cbc latch wait on the latch pretect the segment header. I don't know what is the purpose of them. If these cr will be used somewhere, it will hurt not performance under oracle will seach up to 54 k block while holding the latch of the CBC.

I didn't say it was 'normal' - I just pointed out that your system was probably not createmore copies of CR. I think we can assume that there is a point to the way that Oracle leaves a block of trail of the CR - but that the piece of code that you hit individual fails to apply the usual restriction on the track of CR. Given your degree of concurrency, I doubt if Oracle might need more about 90 kept copies (one for each concurrent process).

(b) no comments

My point (b) was there to suggest that what you see should be classified as a defect in the code.

(c) Yes, in the test environment, the buffer is large (18 G), the table is small (couple of GB)

In earlier versions of Oracle, I was able to break the limit of maxcr_dba whenever I wanted to - and one of the things to 'help' the appearance of the problem should run (the equivalent of), "alter system RAS buffer_cache" + so that I got a lot of buffers marked as 'free '. In may, to a certain extent, to know why you managed to get so many clones of CR.

(d) no bump of HWM table also got deleted frequently, the production dashboard freelist had about 500 M.

Your test shows no deletions, well that I wondered why you had about 200 000 blocks under high water with about 100,000 on the freelist. I had assumed that you hit another bug which lost blocks. (One of the features of the use of boring long is that it is very easy to knock several blocks off the coast of the freelist by attempting to insert a long line in a block that has been on the freelist after a delete).

I did not see anything in your create table statement that suggest he had created for the 2.5 GB which suggests the segment header dump, incidentally.

freelist group helps a lot in my test using the table below, a question is why do we need of "count of the freelist and freelist groups County co-first?

create table test_flist_g (a long raw) storage (freelists 1 FREELIST GROUPS 59);

Freelist groups help because the segment header is (in part) a group block no quotas. By creating several groups not freelist, you pass this role in several other blocks. With a good distribution of the no contingency group blocks, each block will have a much smaller number of concurrent processes, use it to manage the workspace. Simultaneous modification of the blocks is a necessary cause of multiple copies generated: that's why the suggestion helped. It is also possible that you are using a different code path - which is may be a code path that was corrected in order to limit copies of CR.

Both parameters must be first between them because your session selects what freelist group and what freelist in block group not limited using the same algorithm of turnstile on the process id. If a parameter is one multiple of the other, it is relatively easy to find in a large batch of the consecutive process id you end by using only a subset of the freelists.

By the way - 90 concurrenct process, you do not want to use SAMS (automatic segment space management) because it is actually the equivalent of running with 16 freelist, and even if it limits the effect of cloning, it can still result in competing on the bitmap blocks. Switchis freelist groups (probably) is your best bet.

  • iCloud account appears two times in the contacts

On my MacBook running El Capitan in the Contacts app or any other application using contacts (such as Message, FaceTime, Mail) on the left side where the accounts are listed the "iCloud" account appears twice. I tried every "solution" provided in another thread (such as discussed here: iCloud appears two times in the contacts ) but nothing seems to work. I even "clean installed' El Capitan and restored my system to my Time Machine backup (I can't start fees I need my Mac as it is).

Anyone have an idea where you look maybe edit some system files or anything that will get rid of this double iCloud account? All the other thread solutions seem to work only until I have restart the Contacts app or do any work.

    Thank you very much!

Updated - I contacted just the Apple Support and they helped me solve the problem.

In system-> iCloud App preferences I disconnected my iCloud account and when asked to keep or to delete the files on my Mac, I would always remove Mac... After doing this, restart your Mac and you log into your account to iCloud again. This solves the problem of the iCloud duplicate accounts.

    Thank you Apple support :-)

Probably, you have just 6 case of Chrome running for the single facility.

    Hello
I transferred several files from my PC to SANSA VIEW. All files were transferred successfully except one with 137 songs that each song appears 4 times in my reader!
I deleted the folder once and copy it again to the player, but the same problem repeated itself.
    How should I do?

    The problem has been resolved.
We have to drag the folder and do not copy!
Also, I don't understand why should there be a difference between drag and drop and copy.

I tried to us Windows Defender and features WindowTurn on or off programs in vain to stop the Windows Help and Support screen to appear several times offering assistance on everything that I've just selected if it is a selection of function or the word internet. The copy of Vista came with my new Dell laptop. I have another laptop HP with Vista but do not have to go through this on this subject.

Advice to address this very frustrating situation would be appreciated.

    Hi Maree33,

Let's run Windows Update and make sure that you have all the latest patches and service packs loaded.  In Internet Explorer click Tools then Windows Update and follow the instructions.

You can also give a quick call Dell and see if this is a common problem with their OEM version.

    Hi all

An error message appears every time I start my laptop Alienware of window 7, the message reads: "wscript.exe - no disk" there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into \Device\harddisk1\DR1.

I'm a bit confused with this error message, I don't know if there are viruses in my computer, or the reason why this error message whenever I start my computer,

Although I installed file encryption software.

This could be a virus? and how to prevent this error message appear on my computer.

Sounds like malware. Run msconfig.exe, and then selectively uncheck items under the Startup tab until you find the culprit.

Creative cloud is now allowed for xxxxx@xxxxxxx. Click on continue enjoying the software. I click on 'Continue', then the dialog box disappears, and 5 seconds later, he reappeared at the beginning.

Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are NOT part of the cloud... you buy a serial number, not a subscription, and you enter the serial number during installation

If you don't want to say things, read below

Your subscription to cloud shows correctly on your account page?

If you have more than one email, you will be sure that you use the right Adobe ID?

    If Yes

Some general information for a subscription of cloud

Cloud programs don't use serial... numbers you, connect you to your cloud account paying to download & install & activate... you may need to sign out of the cloud and restart your computer and log into the cloud for things to work

  • DNxHD teal'c Strange blocks appearing on the yellow image

    Hello

I'm new to export DNxHD, but I tried to export a spot of cable with DNxHD MXF OP1a envelope, with a resolution of: 1080 p/29.97, DNxHD (RGB 444) 440 10 bits.

Everything is great, even better than my usual export Quicktime, Pro Res 422 or H.264. The only problem is that for a single section where I have yellow flashes arise, a strange block teal'c appears on each bolt (image attached). There are not many options when you export directly from DNxHD, but I tried the same export through the DNxHD Quicktime where I played with the color mode, bit depth and the same problem occurred. I really want to use DNxHD, but it will not help for me unless I can fix this and fix this if it continues to offer videos in the future.

(FYI, exporting through my usual methods does not cause in the blocks of Sarcelles, and they are not visible in Premiere Pro, only to export using DNxHD).

(I'm using Premiere Pro CC 2015)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

I think I found the answer to my own question

But I'll let him place in case someone is facing the same question.

Export under DNX 220 X 1080 p 29.97 (1080 p/29.97 DNxHD 220 10-bit) instead of RGB 444 (440 10 bits) seems to have resolved this issue. While the colors aren't as perfect as they could be, it is still an excellent choice of good quality and export quick time. And more this problem does not occur all the time, therefore, for the most part, I'll continue to use DNX 440 X and if I see problems go to DNX 220 X.
