  I believe that the following list is relevant, especially to 3) 4) and 6).

  The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

  5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

  Even worse, you can:

  (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  Any employee to support Adobe Audition:

  I downloaded Adobe Audition CS6 and installed without problem.

  I try to activate it, but all the codes I use are rejected.

  I initially bought full version of Adobe Audition 1.5 and purchased upgrades for 2.0, 3.0, CS5.5 and CS6

  The activation process will not accept my CS6 upgrade code, or my original code 1.5 - or anyone else in between!

  How to activate it?

  Note: I have correctly installed and activated on an another existing MacBook Pro - CS6 also mine - and I intend using only one copy at a time - this last installation is done on a MacBook Air for remote working, portable (mainly in the form of work to freelance in the rooms). Is it possible to have it installed and activated on two Macs? I rang Adobe when the version 2 for PC and they indicated that installation on several computers was OK if personal and using a single copy at the same time - maybe it has changed?

  Too bad!!!

  I've searched and searched. Finally understood that I needed to disconnect from CC completely, then sign. Once I did, CC has seen that I had Ps on my computer, and I was able to reinstall.

I don't really know what to do next!    I bought a copy of CS6 day (education) more than two weeks ago, when he (disc) happened then I connected, created an account and sent the relevant evidence and numbers. I waited for 42 minutes, then hung up.

  I don't really know what to do, I tried Adobe in the States, they said that they could not help (I am based in the United Kingdom) I waited if long my class actually finished! Any suggestions anyone?

  You can try following the steps on your Mac, that explains how 'Reset Print System '.

  1. choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Print & Telec.
  2 open the print & Fax preferences
  3 hold the control key while you click in the list on the left and choose "Reset printing system" from the menu that appears. (CAUTION - This will remove ALL your printers!)
  4. Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  Since you have tried all the troubleshooting steps and still faced problems, I suggest you do an InPlace upgrade.

  An upgrade on the spot is the final solution before you have to reinstall the operating system.
  Note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

  Run a repair installation will restore the current installation of Windows to the version of the installation DVD. It also requires the installation of all the updates that are not included on the installation DVD

  Note Run a repair installation will not damage files and applications that are currently installed on your computer. However, before you perform an Inplace upgrade, you can take a backup of important data. In case of a worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall all the programs.
