  I downloaded Sony PlayMemories home and tried to save my videos from camcorder to a disc in standard definition picture quality (STD) (DVD-video disc), it is described here:

  After installing the plugin extra DiscAuthor, the tool 'Create disc' has only the following three options:

  1. Data disc
  2. AVCHD (HD)
  3. Blu - ray (HD) disc

  Thanks for the information. The problem can be located on the format of your videos. I checked the model number and found out that your camera records in MiniDV. Unfortunately, video tapes and CD recording is not transferable on DVD using the House PlayMemories disks. Even with their conversion into files Mp4 Mp4s cannot be burned on DVD discs.

  I would recommend looking for a local camera shop that could help to convert your files and save them in another medium.

• What are the appropriate steps to rotate the viewfinder of the camera?

  Another screen problem is driving me crazy.

  I'm quite confused as to what are appropriate measures to turn the viewfinder window when the user rotates the device.

  I seem to be able to get things market during the passage of a landscape to a landscape upside.  But to me something else gives basically the things that I can't begin to describe.  For example, when I go from landscape to portrait, I always get the bottom half of the screen to be the dark tone and the view backwards.

  Say vf_win is the window of the viewfinder and the size is the size of the vf_win and the angle is the angle of rotation new peripheral.

  So I first turn to the viewfinder window by

  screen_set_window_property_iv(vf_win, SCREEN_PROPERTY_SOURCE_SIZE, size);
  screen_set_window_property_iv(vf_win, SCREEN_PROPERTY_BUFFER_SIZE, size);

  then rotate the camera by means of

  I think the above is certainly false since I couldn't get the results I wanted.

  The sample application does not work quite right when launched in portrait on the playbook, because the default configuration of the camera is for landscape.  Down in the device drivers, we don't really know anything about how the device is held and what is intention of the user/application, so we rely on the app by telling us a lot of information to make things.  Don't forget, this is the API of the lowest level available for access to the camera.  There is an API of Cascades photo being developed which encapsulates C API to the top and tries to simlify things at the expense of flexibility.

  On PB, the video viewfinder frames 1920 x 1080 by default, but several other formats are supported (this whole landscape well!).  Use camera_get_video_vf_resolutions() to retrieve the complete list.  If you need to make in a picture window, you must specify either a rotation of output using camera_set_videovf_property (handle, CAMERA_IMGPROP_ROTATION, 90 or 270) or by adjusting your rotation of window screen using screen_set_window_property_iv (win, SCREEN_PROPERTY_ROTATION, 90 or 270) and optionally resize the window by using SCREEN_PROPERTY_SIZE.

  The first option above actually produces a video image 1080 x 1920 returned in a window of the non-tourne screen.  The second option is still dealing with buffers of window of 1920 x 1080, but when the window is composite, it is blitted to the side.  We have 2 ways of doing this is because we have a requirement to be able to save videos in formats portrait without having to rely on the advice of metadata to display the videos properly as Apple or Android have to do (this is the reason for the 1st method).  For the second method (form) this is because not all applications require the video must rotate, nor necessarily all hardware platforms support video output in this mode.

  To answer your last question - definition of resolution 1024 x 576 vf and a rotation of 90 on playbook will give the following result:

  -buffers that have a width of 576 and a height of 1024 pixels of video output.

  -You can then display the viewfinder in a window size 576 x 1024 (or however you choose to scale)

  -buffers sent by the sensor of the camera would be rotated 90 degrees to the right before being delivered through these pads size 576 x 1024

  Represent it visually?

  If you keep the playbook in house orientation and a person stood in front of the camera, the image would rotate 90 degrees to the right so that their head is located to the right of the frame and feet to the left.

  How is it useful?

  If you happened to take the playbook oriented 90 degrees counterclockwise (eg. logo blackberry is on the right side) and displays this buffer image 576 x 1024, head of the person would now be at the top of the screen.

  Once again, this can easily get somewhat confusing and really benefits greatly from visuals.  I keep a stack of post-it notes at hand and am constantly draw lines of frame and stick men on them and turning them accordingly

  in this soft - 128 GB iPhone photos appear in less than a minute, and you have the ability to save large images videos 4 k, voice memos, etc. simply by dragging them to the location desired. The good old MAC intuitive way that attracted us to Apple in the first place.

  I don't know what you mean by that last statement.  Are you referring to export photos from your library to the EHD? Or are you referring to place your library on the EHD and its use here? The export window to select any location you want to save to.  By default, it opens to the desktop on the startup disk. But you can select any volume which is mounted by clicking it in the sidebar of the export window:

• XPS 8500 CPU connection monitor question

  First of all, my apologies if the question I'm about to ask answered several times or seems stupid. I sought an answer in the database of the product and on the different for one for what I consider to be a reasonable period of time and has not found an answer. I tend to replace (high-end) computers about every 5-6 years and all replacements comes a new set of technologies to learn and understand. (I'm also more than 60 years, but please don't hold that against me-one day you will be this age too if you're lucky and try to live right)  My old Sony Vaio desk had the usual video output VGA I hooked to a monitor CRT even older and later in a flat screen monitor.

  OK, so what is my question? Pretty basic: I bought a new 27 '' HD 1080 p Viewsonic monitor and find he has two input jacks-one is the customary VGA and the other titled "DVI - D '. The new '' has usually taken VGA output and then taken two apparent labeled additional video output: HDMI and "[0]" (?)  I really don't like that means taking [0], but I would like to know how I can get the highest definition possible/resolution displayed on my HDTV? The Dell quick start guide under 'Connect the Display' shows five different connection next to the VGA version configurations. I bought my local Fry Electronics HDMI cable, but have no idea if its what I need or if it will work with the configuration of my CPU and monitor. In addition, Dell put two black plastic plugs into the socket HDMI and Sockets [0] so should I infer that they are 'dead' links or what? Please don't tell me to request a refund of CPU Dell or call Geek Squad and pay $300 to get out and connect a cable... It is impossible THAT complicated-it's all in knowing which wire to connect to the place where seems simple. Thanks in advance for any valid response. I contact Dell technical support and after waiting 15 minutes for the agent to answer my question, I released on bail.

"VGA" alleged out Jack at the bottom of the back of the CPU is actually NOT a VGA port (which has 3 rows of 5 pins of each for a total of 15 pins) on further review, (put my reading glasses) he has three rows of eight pins per line (total 24) left a 4 socket side pins in a sign more or configuration. My monitor has the same number of pine (24) entries in the same configuration (without the 4 pin side socket), so assuming the same number of pins (24) is compatible between the CPU and the monitor, all I have to do now is to get the appropriate cable and the problem is solved.   What happens if you develop the Destination Panel on the right and make sure there is a destination folder valid specified?

  I recently did a clean retail operating system installation after I couldn't stand the constant clicking noise during the day before and broken Internet connection any longer, and I'm glad I did. While these problems have disappeared, I lose all the sony exclusive apps, especially the bundled Arcsoft photo (metro) app. Without this app, I can only take pictures resolution 1920 * 1080 with my rear 8 megapixel camera.

  With the new installation, Windows Store nor show Sony exclusive applications and not allow me to install (to tell the app does not support my PC). My guess is that with the OEM hidden deleted Windows partition would recognize my phone as a Sony computer - so no VAIO don't clip, paper, camera no matter what. I still think that the original OEM image is at the origin of the fiasco of noise and wifi, so I don't want to go back (I created the recovery OEM media). Is it possible to restore the camera app to arcsoft other than having recourse to the OEM image?

  Since you did a clean install on the unit, some group programs may have difficulty working. You can try to reinstall all drivers and updates to this page , just so that the front camera works. For the Arcsoft, you can try to download the trial version on their Web site directly.

My underetanding is that the photos can be trasmet to an iCloud to another account on the back-end iCloud. So the best optoon seems to be to connect to her iCloud on my Mac account and upload photos to her iCloud by using Photo account. My question is how can I now that the upload will be pictures full resolution and not the photos low-resolution bit bulky?

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I understand that you want to export all or part of your photos in the Photos app from your iMac to an other iCloud account. I'm happy to give you advice on how to achieve this.

  There are two ways this could happen.

  First option is to disconnect from iCloud in your user account in the iMac, and then sign in with your wife iCloud account.

  Since you currently have the "optimize Mac storage" turned on, you will have all of your photos and original videos on your iMac. To download the pictures and videos on your original iMac, make sure you have enough storage in your iMac to upload all your pictures, open the Photos app, choose Photos > Preferences, and select to download the originals of this Mac. Wait until all photos have been uploaded. Then log on your iCloud account in system preferences > iCloud.

  Now, you can connect with your wife iCloud account. And configuring iCloud photo library in the iCloud in system preferences options panel > iCloud.

  Second option is to export all your photos from the Photos app in your user account. Then add them too account app picture of your wife to its user, if his account is in the same iMac, or another Mac or PC.

  I have a computer laptop X 500 - 13R Toshiba Qosmio, although 2 years, still a great piece of hardware.

  I just bought a new monitor 27 "U2713HM which supports a resolution of 2560 x 1440.

  Computer video card notebook (GTX 460 m) supports a resolution higher than through a digital connection, so I used a HDMI cable to connect.

  Via Control Panel Nvidia, I could create a custom resolution, but the image is not clear / is blurred.
  It is readable, but it's just not everything.

  Tried with HDMI 1.4, without success.
  I volunteered to connect through Dual Link DVI cable, but the phone doesn't have a DVI connector, and I doubt the adapter will help.

  Anyone has a suggestion how to fix this problem?

  I would like to share my experience using an external monitor with a HDMI cable.
  My monitor supports both HDMI and DVI port.
  First of all, I plugged my laptop on the external monitor using a HDMI cable to HDMI.
  But the fonts and the picture was not clear. I used the resolution 1920 x 1080

  Then I went to the DVI port. I plugged the laptop s HDMI port to monitor s port DVI (HDMI/DVI cable) and that solved my problem.

  I'm not quite sure the relevance of m this could be for you, but it worth the try

  I have a ton of pictures of vacation that I just edited (first photos most 25 MB).  When I go to transfer them on a disc that they cross KB far the resolution that they are on my computer.  I considered the export, but when I do that, I lose the dates (very important).

  I refuse to believe that Apple has messed up pictures so bad that there is no way to transfer these pictures in their format edited with dates.  Can someone tell me please how to fix this?  Thanks in advance.

  Resolution has nothing to do with the size of the file: it is determined by the pixel dimensions and does not change unless you crop a photo or export with the dimensions of the pixels below

  File size is determined mainly by the JPEG compression that you control completely using the quality options - if you want an image uncompressed export to TIFF uncompressed format (and also the very big because of that)

  As for dates there are not affected by Photos - they are in the /IPTC within the photo EXIF data and stay unchanged when you export the picture - even once you seem to be confusing attributes Photos with file attributes - two totally different and usually unrelated sets of data
