  Dell D235PD-00 PSU is a unit owner, due to its body shape and size, not the wiring, it's why there are no converters available.

  Hello everyone, I recently bought a HARD drive cooling fan for my 531 s and when I went to install it, I realized that factory supply has no power molex connectors. the connector on the cooler is a passage from molex with male and female ends. The power supply has an unused floppy connector. Is there an adapter that will allow me to use this connector to power my cooler? Thank you.

  You need a SATA (adapter PSU) > Molex (fan) to convert a 4-pin Molex in a SATA power connector

  Hi supports,

  I recently have a problem, when the machine come sleep automatically or press the power button a times, the machine doesn't have to wake up. Pressing once, machine vibrating, pressing home page, it vibrates too, but does not not in the following seconds.

  Pressing the power button for the other 3 seconds it vibrates, I think that it is a power on action, but it takes about 20 seconds to the account indicated by the dell logo, compared with 2-3 seconds before. It will then start normally, just Can not sleep.

  When I go into Device Manager, it shows an exclamation point on the management engine intel, showing a status_device_power_failure error. See my screen below Cap

  

  I have updated my machine, can not help

  I ran the diagnostic test at the start, no problem

  I format and reinstall a new 8.1 victory, still a problem

  installed the latest firmware, bios, drivers shown on the dell support page, no luck.

  management engine intel installed provided by intel, does not work neither.

  Seems this product only is not supported in my region (HK) yet, I can't find any local support to help me.

  We do not recommend that it works because it has not been tested but according to your discretion, you can try, but as you rightly noted that it might void the warranty with Dell.

  Yes, the Dell Inspiron 3847 Mini-Tower can use generic power supplies ATX, with either a power connector 24 pin or 20 + 4 pin card mother main, with or without the on/off switch.

  You should be able to buy a compatible power supply either a local computer or online store.

  Note: You need a diet with four SATA power connectors.

  The 7040 could use the same wacky scheme that uses precision T1700.  If this is the case MODDIY has an adapter to convert the 24pin connector 8 pin. Suitable for Dell OptiPlex 3020 / 7020 / 9020 / T1700 so I think the 7040 is the same.

• Aurora-R4, seeking to upgrade power supply for a better quality of power supply that is not a brand of Dell?

  OK, I have a R4 Aurora, and in my view, that it comes with a power supply of 875 watt. Not 100% about this though. For now, I want to upgrade the power supply to a power supply, so it can support say double cards video in better quality SLI mode. The problem is that the PSU 875 does not have a rail system unique to 12 volts to 50 amps of power support to handle difficult loads of power and provide ample cooling in the power supply. What I would do in the future, it is out of the current PSU, I now and looking to buy a decent POWER supply unit elsewhere. Reference Dell sells a power supply higher than I can use existing wiring, or should I find another brand of PSU and seek to replace the power wiring? And how is it difficult to install if I have to use a different power supply with a different wiring? Installation instructions?

  The problem with B1 series being OK and NOT OK B2 has to do with the combined maximum power on the 3.3v / 5v rails being 150W on the B1 series but only 120W on the B2 series.
