• Lack of MasterThemeSchema.xml HTML5 Multiscreen implemented

  I'm under RH11 with all updates applied on a Windows 7 machine and have encountered some problems with changing the appearance of the HTML5 Multiscreen of provisions of screen.

  I work in an existing project and want to switch to a HTML5 Multiscreen layout for. However, whenever I try to change one of the HTML5 Multiscreen stocks provided with RH11 patterns, I get an error indicating that the file MasterThemeSchema.xml is not found and "is it necessary for the validation and the customization of the layout. I tried to re - download the provisions of screen available on the Adobe Web site (used both provisions of screen Desktop_Knowledge with/without the home for this test button), but after their import in my project the MasterThemeSchema.xml even not found error appears.

  Is there a way to get to RoboHelp recreate this file for the Multiscreen HTML5 layouts? Or any other suggestions I can try?

  I don't know if that makes a difference in the search for a solution, but here are some other information about my project:

  -I am able to generate a Multiscreen HTML5 output using the provisions of screen without any problems (they have just the default appearance as shown in the preview when on the new presentation of the screen dialog box).

  -I can import/export the correct Multiscreen patterns, but I can't change them yet.

  -My project initially used a provision of the screen Responsive HTML5, which I can always edit on screen customization of the layout without any problem.

  The HTML5 Multiscreen layout do not support HTML5 editor at this time. If you want to use the editor, you must use sensitive HTML5 page layouts. Because the support is not added to the multi-screen layouts, the MasterThemeSchema file is not available and so the error.

  This is related to the way that Multiscreen HTML5 is created. What will happen, it is that the currently opened topic is highlighted and the table of contents developed to this point. But that's all. No solution is possible in HTML5 multiscreen.

  I generated and publish files for html5 multiscreen. The default screen layout is Desktop_layout. When I go to index.htm directly from the published location, functions and details work perfectly. However, once I host the files published in IIS, type the URL in Google Chrome, the screen layout is all messed. Table of contents, Index, glossary, and the search function does not work. Please help/suggest/guide.

  Maybe this related to IIS? I host locally on IIS (8.0 8.1 Windows Pro) and Apache without any problems. But IIS can give wrong if the folder security options are not set correctly, then check that the IIS user owns the rights to complete reading on all directories and files.

  I went out sensitive HTML5 from FM 12 (soon upgrading to 2015 FM). I manually delete the Index and glossary buttons the output (this step will disappear with FM 2015). I would like to replace the image of the Index button with an image of custom button (on the PDF symbol) and make sure when you click on this button PDF, a PDF file opens (if the button should redirect to the URL for the PDF file).   In each of my guides of HTML5, the PDF button should open the PDF for the guide. So, if I opened the ABC HTML5 guide and I click on the PDF button, the ABC PDF file should open. Since the PDF button link goes to a specific PDF file, I have a single file of Topic.slp (and therefore the settings file) for each guide to HTML5.

  I also removed the code for the icon that appears at the top left of the HTML5 content and links to the home page. I'd rather have the title of the HTML5 hunting guide water left and do not have a logo. So, I deleted the lines

  Multivision HTML 5 was first attempt Adobe producing a HTML 5 to RoboHelp output. What is happening with this release, this is you define many types of devices through 'Profiles of the screen', and you generate the output and the end upward with as many copies of the output files you have defined profiles of the screen. Then maybe you have 400 topics. If you have defined a profile for desktop, iPhone, iPad, Kindle, Nook, Tablet and Android phone, you end up with 7 copies of 400 subjects. Each output will look a little different. In short, it is awkward and difficult to treat. You place all of the files and folders on your site or whatever and you people then direct to a single HTML page that "Sniffs" the environment and redirects it to one of 7 copies of output according to what it finds.

  On the other hand, RESPONSIVE HTML 5 consists of one set of output files. Instead of sniffing the environment and reorientation, the only set of output files reacts and is redéroule as a result. Much lighter. Much easier to customize. Customization of the Multiscreen is a nightmare. Reactivity is very simplified.

• Include the attribute custom report (Export-Csv)

  I am writing a script to report on disk / the use of the capacity for each virtual machine in the environment.

  I try to include a column in the generated report (CSV), which includes the CustomField/CustomAttributes for each virtual computer as well as the news of disk capacity.  The report runs fine, but after you export the report to CSV (Export-Csv using) the newly created column just to the custom attribute field displays the following parameters for each line/entry:

  When I use out-file it works, but formatting is very obscured...

  Because the property "CustomFields" itself is an object, and you try to get out of the strings to the CSV format, you must manage the object.  You can replace the line in question by something like:

  Which would result in the output for the column that might look like:

  In other words, there is a list separated by characters of the key/value pairs in the CustomFields property for the virtual machine.

  In addition, if you are interested, you might be able to clean up your code a bit by using the '-property ' New-Object parameter.  As:

  I use RH10 under the TCS4.

  I am currently creating / customizing phone Android on-screen updates page, Android Tablet and the Office for use in our team.

  In general, our course titles are a little long. Of course, this doesn't look good on the phone and Tablet layouts. As a solution, we think have the titles of different course for each submission (essentially, a shorter version). Please suggest the best and simplest way to do? To the extent possible, I'm looking for a solution where my users should change the name in one place, say a variable, and it is reflected in all pages of a particular provision. For example, I give them a Phone_Course title variable. They need enter the value we and it is updated in all pages of the introduction to the Android phone.

  But I don't see a way to do it using the fields or variables defined by the user.

  Since many of our users are new to the HR, I do not tinker too much here. Of course, this means also less problems to be solved for me.

  If this is not possible, is there a way I can set the placeholder to "Shrink to fit" so that regardless of the length of the text, the placeholder allows you to adjust the font size to fit the text?

  Claire. I must correct myself. It's what you enter in the title bar of the SSL settings General field name where you want to have a variable is not the name of the project. Unfortunately that field is not set up by Adobe to accept variables and there is nothing you can do to change it, you cannot change a field to accept variables.

  My own thought is that it is preferable to have a common name for all devices, but it's maybe just me.

• Duplicate sections throughout the table of contents after generating the HTML5 multiscreen output

  Use: RoboHelp 10, version 10.0.0.287

  Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. click on file > create > main layout (Multiscreen_HTML5)

  2 al ' Generate window click on [Save and Generate]

  3. wait

  4. click on [view results]

  5 results show swathes of the table of contents reproduced in other sections.  10 more times to repeat the generation before that the entire table of contents points are correct and I can publish.  This is not preventing me from doing the job, but it's certainly a time killer.

  Background: I inherited a working version.  I did not create it.  I have more knowledge of the HTML language, but I'm not a developer.  I didn't upgrade beyond RH10 option.  I have studied this many times, but have not been able to find a solution.  The only other thing I've seen sometimes are error messages related to the toctree.js file, but I still don't understand those.  Even when I have not, this past yet, but I have included this error just in case it may be related, although I suspect that it is a separate issue.  I don't currently have the line in the js file because this sample is old and I have not seen the question at least a month.

  Other Notes: I've seen a few posts on a similar question in the printed version, but, I do not have a printed version.  I don't know if that makes a difference, and do I know if anyone in the past that put in place or even where to go to watch.

  The buttons on the PlayBar to HTML5 is prioritized in the javascript code for Captivate - in CPM.js in the published course content.  The function in question is cp. PB.playBarConstruct.prototype.layoutPlaybar - I replaced this function before in order to establish an order of the various buttons, but it is necessary to examine the code to gain some understanding of what he does.  The code can be substituted in the javascript code for the playback bar to avoid changing the code base of Captivate directly, which is difficult as Adobe no longer provides access to as it is embedded in one of their DLL libraries until it is used in the edition.  Alternatively the code can be corrected, after publication.  It would be useful for Adobe to provide more free and/or documentation about some of this code to allow customers to more easily innovate project-specific improvements.  This became the case largely over the years with Flash, for example with open-sourcing a lot of actionscript libraries and automation using JSX/JSFL.  I hope to calm down the paranoia about competitors and they will realize that being more open is only used to make their products more attractive to developers.  Of course, I say that competition is not better in this regard.  Other things I've done using patch / replaces the time codes of AS3 PlayBar and the HTML5 playback bar are:

  -Added extra buttons

  -Modification of the functionality of the existing buttons

  -Modification of the functionality of the table of contents, for example customization how/when bookmarking occurs - currently a slide gets a bookmark in and out it by default simply

  -Customization of TOC layout page/positioning, for example below the high on vs

  -Customization of the interaction between the playback mode and table of contents, for example the table of contents of closing when the course is in a playback mode, stopping to play the opening of the table of contents and restore when closed, etc.

  -Added disabled States and turning on and off of the taskbar buttons reading based on the State of the course, for example not allowing 'Next' until a slide was seen until the end

  -Fixed the rendering problems of animation in the HTML5 playback, such as issuing endemic where if a blade is cleaned back or rewound after that certain animations have been read and in some cases no matter, there are glitches and glimmers of images to animation in reports incorrect at the beginning of each element animation causing very distracting Visual effects.

  -Adding features to stocks advanced/variables in Captivate.

  I have many customers who have very specific needs and expect professional results, requiring these types of changes if a tool like Captivate should be used.  Customers are more willing to have the developers to use these tools rather than what I've done traditionally with custom Flash and HTML5-coded course.  This always requires a certain custom coding, however most can be developed in Captivate with a few patches applied in the edition.

  I am reluctant to publish these patches, they are a bit specific version Captivate, but many of the so-called widgets are also very specific version.

As I did in the past with mon.264. / .mov files. But to have graphics as Yahoo uses on their capture pages. Like onclick(); mouse over, etc. Images is to play at the top of the page and not in a confined player. Almost as if they are transparent on the page. I need to export HTML5, download assets on a server and to create my HTML page for the page layout. Right?

  Yes, but createJS will create a file html for you.  so, you could start with that.

  What don't you a SWF to a simple motion tween and use createJS to see how things work.
