VISTA anti-virus

I bought Vista anti-virus and it is mucking my computer (I have no Appsdata now!).
I downloaded a bogus program.  It works, but I constantly get pop ups on allow a program to run from my Appsdata\av.exe (which I can't find it) and "no authorization".  Can someone help me please?

There is a fake anti-virus program with this name. If you see a pop-up that shows that it scans and spectacle of thousands of malware, then it is wrong and if you purchase or download you are infected.

To check he's trying to log on:
http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/Center/whatsnew.htm

And run the full system scan, if the blocked site, then you are infected and he left to analyze full scan and see whether or not it will remove.
If you have the sample file, and it is less than 10 MB, then send it to:
https://www.Microsoft.com/security/portal/submission/submit.aspx
For more analysis, if it is more than this test at zipper.

If you believe you are infected and could not get ride of him communicate with technical support of Microsoft Malware Removal team:

  • How to report a scam to Microsoft concerning Vista Security virus

    Hello

Yesterday, while I was on my computer all of a sudden, I was bombarded with a message that appeared to be from Microsoft.  He told me that my computer was in trouble.  He says it's the security of Vista.  He wouldn't let me not use anything on the computer and said I had a Trojan virus.  He also said that I had to buy a fix for this.

I called my son, who is very wise in the substance of the computer, so talk about th.  He came, looked at him and said that one of its computers had the same problem. but that was it for Windows XP, there.  He went home, got a disc with something I think that loaded malicious software in my computer, and he took care of the virus called.

He told me that this happened for a while and it is certain that Microsoft is aware of it.  I have an antivrus program, but he told me that some of the terrible things that are sent are move the normal programs.

My question is: do you know about, and if you do, why are you not protect us from him?  If the malicious software can do it, I'm sure you can.

I look forward to hearing from you in this regard.

    Sincerely,

I have an older laptop OS Vista premium and AVG anti virus and p c tune up.

I realize are now 8.1 W not the product AVG; can I rely on Windows defender disc cleanup, Defragmenter (and others I don't know) to protect the laptop? and remove AVG as I did on my most recent portable W8.1 mind?

    Thank you

    FOR EXAMPLE

    Hello TedGibney,

As in earlier versions of Windows, for example, the Bill said Windows Defender, Vista only acts as an Anti-Spyware. It was only in later additions of Windows that Microsoft has added anti virus ability.

As you have used AVG before I would suggest that you follow this anti virus application, when you are running Windows Vista.

About PC Tune Up it would be wise to not use that, like many Tune Up / registry cleaners these applications can cause more problems than they actually heal.

    Hello

If you are worried about it being a system file, try this:

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions
