A little nervous of the VGA video

I took a video today to the Interior with natural light and noticed for the first time that the image was a bit unstable and tended to skip every few seconds. I had not noticed before because it's very fast - blink and you miss it - but of course I saw him in a video I took last week as well (also inside, but not as brilliant and he seemed less nervous).

You have noticed the jerks as well? I wonder if it's a hardware or software problem.

And until someone asks... No, my hand was not shaking.

It was, after all, software problem. Updated to Froyo on UK Retail and performed a hard reset. Problem solved. Good job Moto!

  • Laptop HP 2000: portable HP 2000 passes not to the VGA output video

Have used my laptop HP 2000 several times to connect to a TV screen using the VGA output jack and connect it to the VGA of my big screen input.  Now, for some reason, there is no video output on the big screen, I tried 3 different cords (VGA VGA) and get nothing on two and on the third, I get a video transfer but it flashes and both on the screen of the laptop and my big screen with only about 1/2 of a photo showing both.  When he does this, I tried the repositioning of the output on the computer output jack and he changed the picture a bit, but could never make it work.  Any ideas?

    Hi @badnarc,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked into your problem on your laptop HP 2000 and connect a monitor or TV with a VGA cable. Here is a link to show you how do I connect a monitor. The last link in this document would be more useful.

  • Why YouTube on Firefox offers quality options so little even if the video can be viewed in better quality on Chrome or when it is embeded?

I noticed that YouTube offers only three quality options for videos seen on the page of the video (240 p, 360 p and 720 p) even while the video offerings also are significantly higher. An example of this is the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvY5irWC7kA (aygoman/u / / r / Oman); seen in Chrome or when they are embedded in a page (such as through the RES addon), the video options are more verbose: 240 p, 360 p, 480 p, 720 p, 1080 p, 2160 p.

While I do not typically consider above 720 p, sometimes I want the ability to watch a video in 1080 p or 480 p and cannot for some reason.

  • Satellite C660-2F7 - external display on TV via the VGA output

    Hello

I try to view my laptop on an external device, but do not know if my laptop supports what I am trying to do. If anyone knows if I can do that or not, or if there is a work around, I would be very happy.
I have a standard digital TV that I am trying to use it as an external display. I use the VGA out port on my C660 2f7.

I have a VGA-to-AV/S-Video Converter (i.e. vga converts to yellow and S-video cables av red and black) and all ports are connected to the TV via a cable S-video to S-video and AV-to-AV cable. But the computer does not seem dectet anything. I tried 'Connect to a projector' and "Connect to an external device" on the Control Panel, as well as the equivielent keys shortcut, "duplicate them" and "extend". On 'Change the appearance of your displays' I put display to VGA. On "Graphics properties" Intel > General settings > display, I have only options "monitor" and "integrated display.

And under "Graphics properties" > monitor/tv settings it says "monitor/tv settings are not supported." Does this mean that I can't do what I'm doing? and that my laptop only supports computer monitors and external display? If so, is there no work around that I can use with this or not?

    Thanks in advance.

    Your TV SCART port?
In the past I ve tested some combinations using port s-video on my old laptop.

What you can try is to find the cable VGA to SCART and check if it will help.

    Unfortunately, it's a little complicated.

My Fire Fox download video in support not detected on you tube. It is always shows only the first video that i was downloaded.pls help

I don't think there is much you can do about it outside the use of workaround to reload the page until this problem is corrected.

There is this bug on this problem:

I don't know if other extensions download suffer from this issue, as well, so you can try a little more try the website of the add-on and if possible use a different format like WebM, if they are available.

Also note that not all videos are downloaded and registered correctly. Some may have a size of 0 bytes and fail to download, so, best is to check in downloads of the toolbar Manager in the drop-down list to make sure that the file size is correct (i.e. neither 0 bytes, but a more likely size).

YouTube streaming makes changes to the code and the way its web pages work, so extensions can fail at any time.

  • Satellite Pro M10: yellow (!) near the VGA controller

    Hi all

When I start my computer I get a yellow exclamation at the bottom right saying hardware not found: VGA (video controller).

The computer works fine, but won't play videos.

I looked through the Toshiba drivers, using search terms "VGA", "video controller" and "Graphics", does not. I installed a driver "chip set", but that has no effect.

I used automatic updates from Microsoft, but again, no help.

    My system is:

    Toshiba Satellite Pro M10
    Windows XP
    Service Pack 2
    Pentium clocked at 1.3 GHz
I also have a nVIDIA sticker on my laptop that I find to do with the video play stuff

Any help would be greatly appreciated; This driver to install and where to find it.

    Muchos gracias,

    Doug

  • Need to connect by Satellite U945-S4110 to the VGA-IN of the external monitor port

I need to configure my laptop Toshiba U945-S4110 to be connected to the VGA input of a display screen.
    What do I need?

Is this enough for this HDMI to VGA Converter active

then a VGA - VGA cable

    > What do I need?

Well, the phone supports only the output HDMI port. This port sends the signal video and audio digital.

In the case where your external monitor supports only RGB (VGA) port, you will need to use some sort of adapter/converter, which would be able to convert the digital signal HDMI to VGA analog signal.

I put t know if the adapter might work, but you will not get sound because VGA does not support audio, only video signal.

    Hello

Sorry, my A100 Tosh has a Geforce 7600, I don't know what is your GA.

But on mine, I have a NVidia Control Panel, where I can configure dualview,
normally, which allows me to choose between the builtin LCD and the external monitor (VGA Port).

When a TV is plugged and not recognized, I can apply recognition there.
Relative to the opening of the Panel, the TV is also available.

    Maybe I could help you.
If this isn't the case, note that the settings of windows your TV is not available.

  • Satellite P750 - unable to connect an external display via the VGA port

    Hi all

    My problem is the following:

I tried to connect my P750 (running on W7 x-64) an external display using the VGA cable port. Unfortunately, these devices recognize my phone. Laptop does not recognize the external display, you can see in the graphics settings as additional display, but the screen shows "no signal".

The computer always identifies the screen correctly, so it seems that there is communication from the screen to the PC, but not the reverse.

This has been verified with 3 separate screens and television - still the same. All the screens work properly with the other PC.

    I already have:

-try to play with FN + F5 / "windows" + buttons P - no change
-install the latest drivers BIOS and video site Web from Toshiba - no change

Suggestions how to operate? Is it possible that the VGA port is faulty?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

You have the same problems with a HDMI output port?
Usually, you don't need to change anything to get the external monitor works.
Press Fn + F5 several times until the monitor RGB (VGA) was selected
Since you can choose an HDMI output too, you should pay attention to this option.

Have you tried to change the resolution before using the Fn + F5?
    It s worth a try

Last but not least, you could set the default BIOS (press F9 BIOS and save the changes by pressing F10). But I don't very well if the BIOS contains some parameters of port RGB (VGA) m

  • No signal found by HDMI or DVI monitor. Monitor detects the VGA signal very well.

That is the problem. I used to get a signal from the HDMI cable or the cable DVi on my old monitor.  Then, the signal was there sometimes, and then it isn't.  Now my new monitor does not have an HDMI or DVI signal.  He finds the signal to the VGA and that works.  Any ideas?  Myself and a few others have no idea on how to solve this problem >

    Hello, billiardsnut

You use a DVI or HDMI adapter?

Assuming you are using a straight DVI-> DVI or HDMI-> HDMI Cable, try to turn off the computer and turn off the monitor, connect the DV or HDMI, then turn them both.

Some video cards will not dynamically change on its own, following the steps above will generally establish the proper output.

In addition, since you mention on your old monitor that it is intermittent, it might be that the digital (DVI/HDMI) port on your graphics card is a failure.

  • Re: Buzzing/buffering sound every few seconds when the streaming videos online.

I'm having the same problem. I followed your steps with the sound and even the glitching. Any other suggestions? Everything is updated, I use windows 8.1 it seems to be a little better on the Netflix App, but from time to time it will happen. Cannot watch Youtube or any other video. Tried to download the Youtube app to see if it is useful, and it was worse. Thank you!

    Hi @TobieJThiel ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I uninstall the current browser and download a new one for Windows 8.1. You can do this here.

I would check here to see if there is Chipset driver updates that are needed as well as the BIOS update.

    I hope this helps.

  • Connect external monitor via the VGA port > > BSOD

    Hi all

I have a laptop Acer Aspire V3-772 and I had an (obvious) problem. When I connect an externel to my VGA port my laptop freezes. After that I restarted my laptop (still connected to the monitor via the VGA input) I get the following BSOD:

    video_tdr_failure igdkmd64.sys

This error I've read on the internet has nothing to do with the video card intel. On this laptop, there intel 4600 internal videocard. There is also a second video card which is geforce gtx 760 m.

I updated my system completely and everything works fine. Except the VGA port.

I tested my HDMI port that works correctly, open the same screen/monitor connected via the VGA input it freezes / BSOD.

One give me advice on what could be the cause?

is this hardware or software really? I think that the software. In any case I'll try to install the older version of the video card driver intel. I'll post if it works.

I would like to have some advice on this issue.

    Thank you!

Thanks for your reply. I tried already. HDMI works very well but even VGA displayport monitor (so double male vga cable) causes system hang still > BSOD.

I did a factory reset. Same result.

    Conclusion... Its a hardware problem.
I'll contact support so they can pick up my laptop for repair.
I lost my weekend for this problem.

I'll change this topic as resolved since it's associated mobo (intel grappics card).
