A movieclip making it inactive.

Is there a way to make visible but inactive movieclips in AS3? I have a picture with several people in it and I want a movieclip that contains a name of the person to be inactive so that it does not interfere with a mask that is below. The mask appears and gray on all the other people in the photo when you bearing a particular person. At the same time the name of the person highlighted appears. Now, if the user rollsover the name of the mask vanishes as if I rode. How the name inactive but still visible? I hope it's clear.

  • Vista Home premium - cannot remove a network connection.

    I have administrator rights and remove button in "manage network connections", I get a pop up - but the connection that it does not remove.  Several reboots.

  • My Windows 7 Administrator password does not work

    My password worked before and I know the password. But it doesn't work anymore. I was told to remove the connection administrator to display icon making it inactive. Now, I can't login with the administrator account or the second user as an administrator. The imagined two message incorrect password. The two passwords are correct.

    Hard to say, but if you normally use an account to admin-level during your daily use, this means that you might have contracted a virus simply by visiting a site with an infected server.  When you solve it, make sure that you only use your admin account if you really need to take as administratively reconfigure your network.  In the course of normal daily use, use a non administrator account so that nothing can cause the admin account get accessible.

  • DV2Z instability with the Alps driver Win7

    Just a note that I've been running Win7 x 64 official release for a week now (not through HP upgrade which I'm still waiting). The system was stable until by installing a series of HP drivers. After several BSOD, I uninstalled every driver one by one, and finally the system is again stable after uninstalling the driver for the Alps touchpad. I can still use the touchpad, but some advanced features such as vertical scrolling are no longer available.

    Not sure if anyone has experienced the same thing or have discovered an Alps driver alternative that does not invoke BSOD.

    The BSOD behavior was random. I could start and run, but at random times, he would suddenly BSOD... sometimes when using my laptop... sometimes while making it inactive.

  • Make inactive Movieclips

    Hey all, I'm a bit new to ActionScript so I hope you can help me.

    I have a movieclip that works effectively as a button, which we'll call BtnA. When I click on it, an another movieclip containing the content (CntntA) fades (this mc is on another layer). Then when I click on another button (BtnB) CntntA melted in and fused into CntntB.

    I've got all this works very well for the moment, but the problem I have is that once BtnA is clicked, it is still clickable and it fades CntntA back in even if it is already active.

    Is there a way to disable BtnA after CntntA appeared? So you can still see, but you can not click on it? Of course, I'll need to do it with BtnB and all future buttons I add, but any help will be greatly appreciated.

    You can use the enabled property of movieclips to disable BtnA:

  • My email has become inacccesable and now I noticed that my domain name, computer name, and name of the workstation are all identical! How can I solve it without making things worse?

    I use the updated Photoshop CC 2015 and Mac Book Pro version:

    After making a selection and creation of a mask I have active dialog improve the mask. I am unable to act because the brush is inactive. I get a black circle with a slash through it. Never had this happen before.

    One way is to make the invisible/visible movieclip as needed.  He still lives on the stage, but you can see only when you say that it is visible.

    Another way would be to assign a class name to the mc in the library, and then when you want to show that you create an instance of it, in the same way do you with the textfield pos.  When he wants to go that you remove.

    I have three different clips in my library used as pop-up dialog boxes. They each share main features but have some different controls.     NotificationDialogMC, SaveDialogMC, and OpenDialogMC all contain a TextField named "textLabel" which is supposed to behave in the same way. Normally if you bind a library MovieClip to a class, you can refer to the children inside the MovieClip directly by their name of the instance. So I try to create a function in the class basis as follows:

    public function set {labelText(value:String):void}

    this.textLabel.text = value

    }

    Although "textLabel" exists in all children three, when compiling dialogue gives the error "property may be undefined textLabel" because it does not exist in the base class. However, if I create a variable called textLabel, this causes a conflict because the base class and the MovieClip linked to the class children have two different objects with the same name.

    I can solve this problem by making a dynamic class of dialogue , but to do a dynamic class opens a host of other issues. There is another strategy that works here? I know that I could add the TextField object in code, but I want coding static layouts rather than create them in the IDE is losing one of the greatest benefits of the Flash.

    Hey everybody,

    I am currently working on a type of runner free 2D game for Android and iOS. What I'm trying to accomplish is spawning in some clips, which are sets of platforms formed how I'd like, when the game of previous platforms reaches a certain point on the left of the stage. I want the movieclip to come slightly to the right of the stage and move them to the left. This will keep spawning, randomly, one of the dozen sets platforms very much, making a runner for the infinite. The game I suppose that could be described as something like Jetpack Joyride, but platforms to add and subtract the jetpack. Anyone know it to spawn in movieclips and move them conditionally at best?     To generate the library dynamically in aAS3 clips you must first assign a class name to each library.  Then add these class names in a table so that you can randomly select one of them.  To add them, you can use the name of the class as follows...

    var ClassRef: Class = Class (getDefinitionByName ("className"));

    var classInstance: * = new ClassRef();

    addChild (classInstance);
