  Home > utilities > Application Express views

  And you can search by entering filed 'region '.

  If you want to see how it is build go schema Apex and
  See for example APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_REGIONS dll that contains the region info

• Definition of the user of the application in the name of the region

  In the title of a region, I want to see the username of the person recorded. At some point, I think that I was able to use a substitution variable like #app_user # but for the life of me I can not find the correct channel again and can not find the right way to ask google or this forum for an example.
  
  I know that bind variable (: app_user) and & app_user. and v ('APP_USER') do not work because they need to be used in sql or pl/sql (and I tried them). I think that this # is syntax used for chains of substitution model? but there are those global? If Yes, where is the list? There may be better documentation that I have not found so far.

• Change file name of favorite backups - Normal?

  There are several different files that I save my Firefox profile every few weeks (Windows 7). One is the last file in the folder bookmarkbackups subsidiary. In the past, it has always looked like this:

  But since the upgrade of 30 FF FF 31 July 28, I have these:

  (don't know why there is no entry for 7-29)

  Is this change, with the addition of all these extra characters, normal to the 31 FF, or is there a problem?

  It's normal.
  There has been a change and now a hash gets joint in addition to the number of items.
  This hash to check if there has been changes to bookmarks.
  If the hash is the same then there is no need to create a backup of this backup would be the same.

• How to name a region created by paths that intersect

  If I take a circle and divide it into quarters by adding horizontal and vertical lines that cross each other, how can I name these 4 areas that result so that one person can change the color of these four tasks programmatically when you export as a svg file?  (no problem shading them in Illustrator using live paint - but I need to stick a label or name on each region for use outside of the program)

  If you have a (set) circle and a vertical line and a horizontal (two lines extending at least to circles), select the first line vertical and object > path > divide objects below, then do the same with the horizontal line (or in reverse). Divide objects below only work with one path at a time.

• Access to the region without a name!

  I is currently working on a page in an Apex application and wanted to focus on a region so that I can translate parts of it in French. However, the problem is the region I want to access doesn't have a name, so I can't access it! I can click on "Report" to the sides of the region, but this just put a "Cannot display Page" error
  
  Here's what it looks like on the screen:

  Point on the screen: Page (3) template body
  Application of claim 20 HTML
  30 report * this is the region, I need access *.
  50 pdf_region report

  Any ideas how I can access this region?

  Simon,

  It is strange... because if the name of the region has one or more spaces, it
  link will not appear, but at least you should be able to go to the "report."
  (Report of the attributes) and then click on "Definition of the region."

  Have you tried to click on the "Change everything" (which resembles the spreadsheet with a pencil)? From there, there is link icon change. He will also be the definition of region.

• Open excel sheet by sheet name... Subvi without closing the

  Hi all

  I'm experimenting with excel and labview and I want to open a spreadsheet by name.  I created a project with a main vi where I hit a button to start the process.

  When this button is hit an event handler opens my Subvi who actually asks for a file, then scans all journal names and then in this sub - VI, I have an another Subvi who appears and gets this journal names.  When I hit OK it must close and the first Subvi should continue.  This everything works fine and I am able to read the name of favorite sheet but does not close the Subvi requesting the name of the sheet read.  When I run this Subvi in itself then it closes when I hit ok.

  I added the whole project here so if someone could have a look and tell me what I am doing wrong I would appreciate.

  Ok... I found the problem with another post on the forum.  I changed the appearance of the dialog window that has solved the problem.

• How to delete sites duplicated in the list of Favorites

  I accidentally moved a folder containing multiple copies of favorite websites in my list of favorites on my home page. . is there a way to delete these entries in a group without deleting favorites that I already had.

  You don't have to delete them manually without a third-party application, but this will make it easier. Go to C | Documents and Settings. Your user name. Favorites. Hold down the Ctrl key while you click the dupes to highlight and then delete. Make about 20 at a time because a little hiccup and highlighting will disappear and you will have to start.

• Opening in particular region page

  I'm developing an application using Oracle Application Express 4.2.5.

  In that I have two region Home Page.

  they are 1. Left (name of the region)

  2. the right (name of the region)

  I have included the tree in region 1 (left)
  I've linked the tree node pages.

  Once I clicked on the tree node pages get opened.

  My question is

  When I click on the tree node, the page must be open in my region 2 (Right).

  And I have to close the button on this page.

  Is this possible?

  in the page template added on the header section

  in the body of the page on your "position of the region on the left" or next to PAGE_BODY add

  You are right, that we can do this by using the dynamic action,

  Create dynamic action as follows,

  Event: change
  Selection_type:item (s)

  Article (s): select the name of the item you need.
  Action: Refresh.

  Selection_type:region.
  Region: select the name of the region you need to refresh.
