• Definition of the user of the application in the name of the region

  In the title of a region, I want to see the username of the person recorded. At some point, I think that I was able to use a substitution variable like #app_user # but for the life of me I can not find the correct channel again and can not find the right way to ask google or this forum for an example.
  
  I know that bind variable (: app_user) and & app_user. and v ('APP_USER') do not work because they need to be used in sql or pl/sql (and I tried them). I think that this # is syntax used for chains of substitution model? but there are those global? If Yes, where is the list? There may be better documentation that I have not found so far.

• Access to the region without a name!

  I is currently working on a page in an Apex application and wanted to focus on a region so that I can translate parts of it in French. However, the problem is the region I want to access doesn't have a name, so I can't access it! I can click on "Report" to the sides of the region, but this just put a "Cannot display Page" error
  
  Here's what it looks like on the screen:

  Simon,

  It is strange... because if the name of the region has one or more spaces, it
  link will not appear, but at least you should be able to go to the "report."
  (Report of the attributes) and then click on "Definition of the region."

  Have you tried to click on the "Change everything" (which resembles the spreadsheet with a pencil)? From there, there is link icon change. He will also be the definition of region.

  First run page using firefox or chrome and identify the name of the region, i.e. the #REGION_ID # in the model translates into something like "region5" when rendering.

  Change Page, in the section Javascript executed when the Page loads, enter the following command

  hideShow ('region5', 'shIMG5', '', '');

  This should toggle the current show / hide mode.

  I made the dashboard in OBIEE answers. First of all, I created dimension region in my structure. I used this dimension to validate users who log on the dashboard.
  Then, all the fact will be displayed depending on the region of the user. To do this, I used in the administration tool session variables, with the following query in the inizialitation block:
  Region_name SELECT FROM user_region WHERE user_name = LOWER(':USER')
  
  In the answer of dashboard, I used region_name filter with the value of the session variable to show the fact according to the region of the user.
  
  The problem arises when I log in as an administrator. I want if you connect administrator, does everything will be shown in all regions. But user_region table, that I created, there is no user "administrator." And the fact appears as an error because there is no rated for administrator.
  
  I don't know how to beat this case. I hope you guys could help me.

  Initialization block; "getRegion" returns a single value for the Session Variable; "userRegion" right? A region for a user_name of the user_region of the table as you already have. If the 'Administrator' user connects, the table of user_region returns nothing. In this case the Table double (if you are on Oracle) will return; "All regions".

  Region_name SELECT FROM user_region WHERE user_name = LOWER(':USER')
  UNION ALL
  SELECT 'all regions' OF THE double WHERE LOWER(':USER') = 'administrator '.

  So far so good?

  In response OBIEE, I'll add the filter as follows:
  Column: Name of the region
  Operator: is equivalent to / in
  Session variable: userRegion

  That's ok. Convert the run in SQL. Add a 'or Clause' for the 'all regions' - part. It will be as follows:

  Region name = userRegion
  OR userRegion = 'all regions '.

  I have a report and compatible csv filename-help output.the say: specify a name for the export file. If no name is specified, the name of the region is used followed by the .csv extension.

  Hi Christian,

  in your case, there is a timing issue: substitution for the title of region is part of the process in the region as is the name of the file. There is no double-substitution at that time here. Imagine the current state to be filename: = NVL (substitute (filename), region_title) where region_title has the value that is given to the rendering process.

  We are referencing an element of page hidden as filename directly, for example '& PX_FILENAME... '. CSV '.
  The value of the element is calculated by a method of executed page 'On Submit - after calculations' and Validations, and works very well. You can try to put the name of the file to be 'Kundenrechnung Nr. & P35_X_RECHNR... CSV' for P35_X_RECHNR must contain the value appropriate at this time.

  Hello!

  The reason this not prevail as a fail-safe in the EAS Protocol feature.  From a point of view of corporate security, companies do not want the chance to sensitive business data being extract/put in one or more different servers that could very well not be themselves.  Any device using EAS must remove the Acct. and add a new.  Need help with data migrations that isn't the new server.

  Hi - I moved to Switzerland from the Argentina and United States have therefore 2 printers (7500 a of the United States and an Argie B209A) that BOTH should be regionalized but phone calls and e-mails to HP support have othe was tossed from Switzerland to the United States, to the United Kingdom, or simply ignored. Is there any documentation that you can go to get the process to do it for you? Why HP is so paranoid in connection to let the counmers do for themselves vs. having to spend endless hours on the phone / email? Perhaps they hope that we just throw up our hands in frustration and go buy a new printer in our new country. Shocking.

  Why don't the B209 "of Nanette? (who wants to say or be a local name for the Argentina?) you will need to be regionalized, if she bought in Argentina and is still there? I don't understand your logic on this one. Use names only long countries.

• Conditional display of the region

  I'm under APEX 5.0 on an Oracle 12 c server.  I created an application that will be used by several different people in an office.  Each person needs to see another part of Contacts when they connect.  I also gives users the option to display or not to display various parts on the home page according to their preference.  The issue I'm having is trying to control the display of a region where the APP_USER must match a user name AND an element (P7_CONTACTS) is not equal to 'C '.  If it's only one condition, I have no problem with displaying or hiding in the region, but with multiple conditions, I can't find a solution.  I thought to use the condition EXISTS, but can't get that to work, most likely because I write the incorrect query.  I think I'm missing something obvious, but frustration is clouding my ability to think clearly at this point.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

• is this a bug in the region... selector apex5 during import lose region selector

  I have a request to one of the pc... I have to export it and import it into another pc

  with the same workspace name

  But when I run the app I see the region selector donot work like in the first pc... go where I had imported from the

  program and also the database.

  Is this a bug. Or if someone has encountered the same situation...

  What do we do to fix this problem.

  What I've observed as is on the same page down that we do not have the status bar

  Edit page debug debug mode are present in the status bar. It is present in the main pc

  But after I moved the data to the second pc the page where the region selector is present I can't see this status bar. .
