A problem has been closed while I was in the hospital - how to reopen
I have a problem and an identification number that has been closed while I was ill in the hospital.
There is no option for me to reopen it and the cat is no longer accessible.
And since the issue is in the serial number, I can not access the software. Help

2. don't you also get an error with the message code?I would like you to do the following to check if the problem persists.
Step 1:
Check that the search service Windows is started and set to automatic.
a. go to start > Control Panel
b. Administrative Services > Services and scroll to Windows Search and double click it.
c. make sure that it is set to automaticStep 2:
I would have you run SFC scan to check whether the problem is related to the missing or corrupted system file.

Satellite C660P - 11 p and WXP - problem has been detected
I tried to install OS XP Professional SP1 + SP2 on my Toshiba Satellite C660P - 11 p, but after aprox. 1 minute from starting installation of Windows, the following message was displayed:
"A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:
Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to ensure that it is properly configured and completed. Run CHKDSK/F to check for hard drive corruption, and try again.I tried to install OS again, and the same message appeared.
I don't know what I can do to solve the problem.

I put t know what you mean with SP1 + SP2, but when you want to install WXP Windows XP edition family SP2 or WXP including SP3.
You have loaded driver SATA?

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get my machine to boot successfully. Nothing changes when I choose Safe Mode, last known good Configuration, enable VGA Mode, booting, Directory Services Restore Mode or Debug Mode logging.
It's very stressful, because I'm right smack dab in the Middle a semester at the College. I have most of what I currently need access to supported illuminates... but not quite all :( It is also very reassuring to be able to take care of the school of work away from the library of the University. Yesterday, my computer was working fine... I think that Windows has completed an update, if I can't remember now. As I woke up this morning, I was not able to boot all the way to Windows only once.
My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000 running XP Media Center, and I have not installed new hardware since I bought the machine about 3 years ago.
Here are more details, where they can help in the diagnosis of my problem:
- ID of the system board: 30BB
- Type of processor: Genuine Intel(r) CPU T2250
- Processor speed: 1730 MHz
- Total memory: 1024 MB
- Video memory up to: 128 MB
- BIOS version: F.06

Some HP partition the hard drive. have you tried to type F11 or F12 during startup (before that he go to the option mode start screen)? It might take you for a HP recovery program in that partition (because windows don't be loading not to use that recovery)Good luck -

2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
3 - is the problem confined to the McAfee update Launcher?
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Put the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, try the procedure described in step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual.
Method 2:
