  I have a Pavillion g7 notebook comp running Windows 7. About a week after the expiration of the warranty he began to break down during the recovery from the sleep mode.   There are several ways to recover the OS to factory settings... Here we go.

  (1) Please try to run the f11 recovery that will install the operating system using the recovery partition. It's the best way to solve the problem. type just hit f11 when the turn on/off the computer. (Make sure that the recovery media is already created by you using Manager HP recovery for future use).

  (2) snack F11 does not work and that you have created the media, use your own recovert holder that was created on the same computer.

  (3) where no one (f11 and self created dvd/CD) work and you need to get the DVD from DVD HP. order HP and use them to re - install the operating system.

It still immediately responds to a mouse click, then dysfunction of the keyboard was only a minor inconvenience. The keyboard is equipped with a PS/2 connector, the mouse uses a USB port.

  However, several times lately the keyboard did not return after the awakening of the system; It is a biggest drawback. Each of these three times the keyboard had returned to normal after a reboot of the operating system, using the mouse to manipulate the Start Menu. I noticed nothing otherwise askew with the keyboard at any time, which suggests that this is not a problem with hardware keyboard. I would like to know how to get the system back to normal.

  I don't know if the following is relevant, but it is similar:
  There is a card audio semi professional, with its own control panel software, installed in the computer.   I found there was a generated system restore point made a few hours before I did my test of the monitor-the-new-record. I used the restore point and the audio card to return to normal, the awakening with the rest of the system.

  The only thing I could say to be uninstalled by the restoration of the system has a few updates of Microsoft Security Essentials. I immediately did a manual update of that, to ensure it would not be any effect on the audio. Audio worked properly since registration, including, but I have not retested monitoring check against existing tracks.

  It was shortly after the keyboard problem has started. In this case I don't know what it is changed on the computer that could have led to the problem, but it seems not unlikely that some settings in the registry system is again wrong.

  Today, my Toshiba Satellite P750 (running Windows 7) has been disconnected from my wireless network when I wake from sleep mode. When I close the lid of my laptop, it goes automatically into mode 'sleep', and when I open it, I put my user password and use it as usual. However for some reason any today, it does not work.

  When I wake up, it recognizes my wireless network is available, however, cannot connect to it. When I solve the problem, it indicates that there is a problem with my router and I should turn it off, wait at least 10 seconds and then turn it back on. I tried this and it works fine, but my laptop has never done that (in the few weeks I got it) and I wouldn't constantly reset my router to use Internet. In addition, I have another laptop at home that works very well.

  Should be really this issue be resolved quickly as I have exams this week.

  You must disable Wake up on LAN function in the BIOS and Windows.

  You can disable this feature in Windows if you right click on the network adapter > properties > advanced > wake on LAN

• WLAN reconnect not awake to the top of the standby mode

  I have a T61p that I really like.  I connect to my local network by using a wireless connection, as well as various wireless connections on a trip.  Irritation is that whenever I wake the T61p from sleep mode, WLAN shows it is reconnected, but it does not work.  Whenever I have to wait until he's finished there reconnect the sequence, and once it's over I ask him to repair the connection, that works every time, especially the first time.  This problem occurs regardless of the netwrk wireless I use, at home or on the go.

  It's a pain, and it means that something is twisted, so I would like to know what the problem is.  My old laptop never had this problem.  A colleague who bought exactly the same configuration T61p like mine (same order) sees the same question.

• Sceen empty after activation of the standby mode

  Hello Glenn_XYZ, thank you very much for your information, THIS WORKS FOR ME TOO, I have disabled this feature for almost a year, and I works again after I have roll back the display to its older version driver (ver: 7.15.11.7521 to the worm: 7.15.11.65). My OS is Vista 32 bit.

  I underatand there have friends in this forum also have the same problem, try method in the above message.

  I recently faced another problem: IE8 stop working intermittently and had to close, it happened especially often when reading emails. It happened again in a few minutes, even I close all browser windows and re-open again. But especially it closed only my current working window and recovered with my previous windows.

  I have no idea about it and try using FireFox instead of IE8 at the moment. Can anyone help please? Thank you!

  LGWR is recommended where repeat applies will be interms of roll forward. If in the case of all redo currently lost, you have very less time loss of data. Real-time here APPLY.

• HP dv6 backlight on screen doesn't turn on after the "standby mode", although external hdmi does not follow the work

  OK so my sister has been using my computer last night, when it was made using it she just closed it witch automatically put in mode 'sleep' and gave it back to me. later that night I opened this herd all the normal sounds of the laptop but the backlight does not turn. the screen looks completely black, except that I see a darkness where the hp logo lights across the screen in the lower right corner. in fact when I use the scanner of thumb to activate windows I can see the date and time, dimly lit in this corner and can move the mouse on and see. I connected my laptop to my TV via hdmi and it works absolutely fine, which is how I'M writing this issue right now. I tried to update the drivers for my graphics card, but that did nothing. It's just the backlight does not turn no more. is it far from accidentally turn the backlight on or off? If I have to completely replace the monitor or just replace the lighting? any suggestions?
