Problem is that I can not know what program is doing he said: 'this problem occurs when a program is not completely compatible with Windows', but the path of the program is C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe. Isn't a Microsoft program?

Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

Any printer installed in Windows? If Yes, what is the brand and model of the printer?

Thank you for details on the issue.

This problem can occur if the driver and service of the printer are corrupted or damaged.

I would sugget you uninstall, and then reinstall the printer driver and check.

To uninstall the driver, you can refer to this article:
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02259020/

You can reinstall the printer driver from the manufacturer's Web site.

Also refer to the suggestions of Vipul.Taneja said on December 14, 2009 and check.

    Hi EatonmcMT,

    1. what security software is installed on the computer?

2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

I suggest you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to repair this sector, all available on which data may be lost.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Put into service takes more than 15 minutes. Stop is worse. It hangs at "closing Windows" regardless of the programs that I run is extremely slowly.

Original title: start & close problem. Slow response

My PC is running Window XP SP2. I did all the updates.

Recently commissioning takes more than 15 minutes. Stop is worse. It hangs at the "closing Windows.
Whatever programs that I run is extremely slow.
I ran virus scan, microsoft fixed, but the problem persists.

Well, I think you don't like it, but the first thing to do is to eliminate by using their special tools Norton Uninstall program:

    https://www-secure.Symantec.com/Norton-support/JSP/help-solutions.jsp?LG=English&CT=United+States&docid=20080710133834EN&product=home&version=1&PVID=f-home

Now, you might think I be without protection and get some bad things on my computer, but you just want to see how things are going without it.  Just don't visit WWW stupid or silly sites, where you can pick up some virus or malware and you can always install a new copy, but I think it's a big headache for you now.

It might be out of date, too many options of protection installed, etc.  More protection is not always better, and you will pay for it in the performance of the system with the more stuff you add.

Then when Norton is gone, proceed as follows:

No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs at:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

Consider instead of Microsoft Security Essentials or Norton - he did a good job.

We must eliminate what can cause problems, so I'd start with Norton.  You can put it back later if you want, but you need to see how things are going without it.  Moving things to a good operating system that you are happy with first.

Eliminate potential problems one at a time and test thing out... one thing at a time.

Symantec/Norton is you biggest problem right now.

    Check your NVIDIA drivers:

I use the NVIDIA site and let scan them online take a look at your video system and see what he suggests for drivers and consider their analysis if they offer a new driver.

It is recommended to run the scan NVIDIA with Internet Explorer.

Here is the address of the NVIDIA page:
    http://www.nvidia.com/download/Prescan.aspx?lang=en-us

Read the instructions, and then click the DRIVERS GRAPHICS button to start scan and answered in the affirmative, if asked to install the plugin required to run the NVIDIA scan.

    Get rid of Norton.

    Hello

1 have you checked the State of the wireless autoconfiguration WLAN service in the services window?
    2. do you have any security software installed on the computer?
    3. have you made changes on the computer recently?

We will first try to manually start the wireless service, i.e. the WLAN AutoConfig service. To do this, connect to the computer as an administrator.
    1. Click Start, type services.msc and press to enter.
    2. Locate the autoconfiguration WLAN service, double-click to open its properties window.
    3. on the general tab, change the startup type to automatic and click on the Start button.
    4. click on apply, then ok.

Try to connect to the wireless connection and check the result.

If the service still does not start, run the System File Checker tool to scan the computer for the corrupt system files and automatically correct. To run a sfc scan, try the steps mentioned in this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

For more information on the wireless settings, see this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb878035.aspx

  • While closing, programs are pending and that I still have programs that are running, but actually I don't

    Hello

I close all programs and then I closed my laptop but I see message programs are pending and that I still have programs that run, but actually I did not! I close all! and then after a few seconds it just stops himself well. In my view, there is a problem, why I see this message?

This time, when I stopped my laptop a blue screen appeared saying windows is recovering from an unexpected shutdown. This was not unexpected at all, I closed all programs and all just stop it!

From elsewhere when I press ctrl + alt + del and start the Task Manager I see not all programs that are running.

    It's a windows 7 64.

I see message waiting programs so that I still have programs that run, but actually I did not!

Actually closing manually request does not mean that it is not running

Some of the startup item typically run in the background

There is no additional work Windows doesn't do, what application you are running is to show

All you can do is try to disable all start once and go to the service tab and select below "hide all Microsoft services and disable and to apply, it will ask the start/stop and see same problem is happening or not."

Press win + r > type "msconfig" and enter and click on start and select Disable all and restart
