  A Pages document with some arrows. With a selected arrow Panel Format (right) organize tab > stay on the Page. You can then move around the page.

  

  Menu > file > save as template.

  In the model picker, rename it. I used the name clip art arrows. It appears in the template selector > my templates.

  I guess you must assign the ReadOnly to an account Active Directory on a specific entity in your vCenter.

  Hello, I am trying to understand the best way to get the UUID vCenter for VIM vCloud object (in my case a resource pool, for which I have the MoRef) to identify the corresponding object of vCenter.   I want to use a given resource pool reference (Playback a pvDC) to find the purpose of grouping of real resources in vCenter, many vCenters recorded vCO/VCD since the MoRef is not unique between vCenters.  There is an article by William Lam (http://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2012/02/uniquely-identifying-virtual-machines-in-vsphere-and-vcloud-part-1-overview.html) that describes the relationships, but an example to solve this with vCO would be appreciated.

  The license of vCenter in vSphere for desktops can only be used with Office workloads.  So to answer your question Yes licecnse included vCenter is identical to vCenter Server standard, it can be used only with Office workloads.  If you use server workloads, you can buy a vCenter license.

  I prefer to run a separate instance of vCenter. Our deployment is much smaller than yours, and we run it separate because it isolates environments, allows to plan maintenance and does not affect the two environments, because VMware has fallen behind manufacturing discovers completely compatible with the latest versions of vSphere in the past (e.g. vSphere 4.1 requires 64-bit Windows when composer would not run under 64-bit.)

  Especially in an environment as large as yours, I it would run separately.

  I am very new to VMWare and virtualization altogether.

  My company has several data centers in different geological locations with (proposed) a vCenter Server instance manage multiple EX servers for each data center.

  Here are the conditions:

  -A MAIN data center must manage all the resources in each data center.

  -If this MAIN data center goes down, a designated BACKUP should become Interim Manager for all resources in each data center.

  -Each data center must be able to manage its own resources, if the network goes down.

  -If the MAIN data center back upward, he must discover the management of the structure so it can regain control of all resources for each data center.

  This scenario is feasible in vCenter or another product VMWare? If so can someone provide some information or documents.

  You didn't say how many data centers or hosted how you have and what is really important.

  The way we approach must have one instance of vCenter in our headquarters.  He manages all hosts local (and clusters) as well as hosts in dozens of remote locations, including the hosts to halfway around the world.  We have one instance of vCenter linked internationally, but personally, I expect we'll get rid of it in the future and continue to manage everything centrally.  Some things are just easier with only a single vCenter (reports by script, for example).

  Our instance of vCenter is itself a virtual machine - if the host, incidents, vCenter is automatically restarted on another host in the cluster.

  We are in the middle of implementing vCenter Heartbeat - it is an add-on that will provide for an automatic failover if the primary vCenter server fails.  He manages the server vCenter itself and separate SQL Server.  This gives us beyond the HA failover redundancy.  Our backup is located in a remote cluster.

  The primary vCenter server isn't down for very long at any time - usually things like patches and system upgrades.  When that happens, even in the absence of heart rate, remote sites continue to operate.  Things like the DRS do not work, but it'll look right back where it was stopped when vCenter returns to the top.  HA, which occurs if a host goes down, will continue to operate - it doesn't depend on the DRS or vCenter but is negotiated within the cluster itself.

  There are some things that you can do that by going directly to the ESX host while vCenter is down, but that rarely happens.

• Segmentation of a huge CSV file for easier analysis

  I have a CSV file that contains 3 columns: time, voltage and current.  This data covers a period of 12 days with 1 ms between the samples and the size of the file is 53.4 GB!

  I use LabVIEW to chunk this file into pieces easier to manage for analysis using spreadsheet File.vi reading and write a File.vi spreadsheet and my method works very well... to a point.  Here's a snippet of what I do:

  

  I use the "start offset reading" of entry to reading worksheet File.vi inch my way through the file, but since it is a type of data I32 it rolls more and VI out errors.  I think I have to do, is remove pieces of the main file that I read and write in their respective smaller file, but the method to do this is me stumping.  Y at - it suggestions on how I could pull this off while using the worksheet vi file (to avoid reinventing the wheel as much as possible)?

  Some ideas: I'm playing:

  1. of iteratively, delete data and reset to '0' marker in the file (reading data in order from the present to the future).

  2. start at the END of the file (i.e. read data from future to present) and iterative set the smaller size, eliminating the data blocks that I will.

  The simplest solution would probably be to modify the existing worksheet screws (or a copy you make of them) - you did, they use 32-bit values to track the location, but if you look inside the screw, you should see that the actual file functions use 64-bit values (the values of 32 bits in the functions are actually used for backward compatibility). I haven't looked closely, but my guess is that you can simply change this option to be 64 bit and that your code should then be able to go through the entire file.

  It happened during a Windows Update. I let it do its thing, started my system to the top, and it's GONE! I could not believe. All that I found myself with a black screen and a computer, user, and network icon. I have also emailed short Outlook that I cut wasIt also erased my current image I had displayed on the background. I do not think it is gone forever, but must return as soon as POSSIBLE since it will take a lot of work for me to put each item in each folder. I work in real estate and has all the transaction information for each property that I'm involved in each labeled folder. Please, someone tell me there is an easy solution that I can do to have my old back office including the image. Just wish that I can wake up and it would be yesterday morning once again!   Thank you for your message.  Have you installed the software on your XP computer before you plug the cable?  Have you tried all of these steps?  If so, could you please let us know the results of each step?
  If the easy transfer cable is not working properly, you can try a few things to fix the problem. Make sure that you have installed the drivers of the cable easy transfer on your old computer with CD included in the package of cable. If you do not, close Windows Easy Transfer, insert the CD that came with the easy transfer cable into your old computer and follow the instructions on the screen. When it is complete, repeat the transfer process.

  USB ports can be another cause of the problem. When Windows Easy Transfer prompts you to connect your computers with the easy transfer cable, try to plug the cable into the other USB ports on your computer.
