a Web site took in Safari

I landed on a Web site, I guess I shouldn't have. It has supported in Safari. It shows a message of "scan.applesoftsecurity.com", which asks "Are you sure you want to exit this page?" and gives two options, 'Quit' or 'stay '.

Quit smoking force does not solve the problem. Safari is restarted, this message again. The same with Safari rebooting with the SHIFT key. When I did that I also received an audio message: "your computer was taken over by a site that is a threat to the security of your system." He gives a number and said: 'call this number to get instructions for the elimination of the threat. Do not purchase online before calling this number. »

I did not call the number and will not be, but I would like to know (1) if someone knows something about this threat and (2) what risk it poses, and (3) what can I do to remove it.

Can I remove the Safari and then get it reinstalled?

Thank you

    The bubble at the top where I typed in the URL doesn't change, it always says "facebook.com" or something else.

    Not "no matter where I am," means, it happens with all networks?

    If so:

    Try:

    -Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

    Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

    ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    -Reset all settings

    Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.

  • Safari should let me block web sites

    .

    Every now and then we get a repulsive web site.

    Safari or IOS should give us the ability to block this site.

    Future attempts to access this host would result in a message saying "you have blocked this, making sure to unlock?

    In an ordinary UNIX machine, you can do a similar thing with a host file redirection, but since IOS is locked and I am certainly not stupid with rooting, I think that Apple should provide capacity probably widely appreciated to avoid the dreck.

  • I've set up a Web site using the TNG software for genealogists. It seems fine in Chrome and Safari. It is different and not as good as in Firefox.

    My new site Web search OK on Safari. On Firefox, the fonts look lighter and smaller. Underscore bars now appear thinner. How can I make Firefox display look more, as it should be and not on Safari?

    Thank you
    Bob

    The specified 12px font size seems not to be very large, so maybe this will increase a little in case a small font is used by Firefox.

    font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;

    What the police use Firefox on the page?

    You just right-click and select "Inspect element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) with the selected item.
    You can check the font used for the text selected in the tab fonts in the right pane of the Inspector.

    Just so you can check that you are not the page zoom.
    Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    Hello DZanvettor,

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    If I understand your message that nothing happens when you try to remove the Safari Web site data. I know how it is important for you to be able to remove the Safari Web site data. I recommend that you restart your Mac into safe mode and see if you can remove the data from the Web site in secure mode.

    Here are the steps to restart your Mac in safe mode:

    Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening.

    From your Mac in safe mode does the following:

    * Check your startup disk and attempts to fix problems if necessary directory
    * Loads only required kernel extensions
    * Prevents the elements start and the login items open automatically
    * Disables installed user fonts
    * Delete font caches, hiding the kernel and other files of the system cache
    * Together, these changes can help resolve or isolate issues related to your startup disk.

    Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. start or restart your Mac.
    2. as soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. release the SHIFT key when you see the Apple logo appears on the screen.

    After you delete data from the Web site in safe mode restart your Mac and allow it to start up as usual. Then test the issue again.

    Best regards.

    When I discovered my web site as

    everything looks okay

    But when I discover as

    Chrome and Safari discovers these versions the same.

    This is not a common bug - watch already your website to anyone on a zoom level of 100% by default. most likely, you have wrong changed this setting locally during a visit to your page in the past (for example holding the key ctrl while scrolling)...
