  A suggestion for a better (more reliable) way to fade in multiple layers - especially when these layers are compositing - is to place a Black video clip (you can generate a new element function) on a layer above several clips you want to fade in or out and then just melted this black clip to fade in the lower layers , or fade the back clip to Dim lower layers.

  Not having dissolved individual on each track also makes it easier to adjust the fade in and out, as you only need to adjust the length of the transition from one dissolve applied to your black clip.

• How to remove the white outline around cursor?

  Is there a way to remove the white outline around the black slider? For example, the reticle on the selection tool is black, but they have a white outline around the central point and 4 lines. How can I remove this outline in white? The outline makes it much more difficult to be precise with the cursor. (I use Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7).

  I don't know other settings for the sliders as those in the preferences.

  If I'm working on a bright image, I hardly notice the bright outline.  I use the browser to zoom in before, so for me, the selection is very precise.  And of course, I almost keep everything in separate layers.

• Why is my imac printing docs pdf with squares instead of text

  I use OS X 10.9.5. When I want to print a pdf document was sent to me from an external source (for example, my electricity bill) the document is printed with squares where the text should be.

  Sometimes if I get an overview of printing, it will look OK but always printed with squares/no text, and sometimes it shows squares in the preview. I was not able to determine a trend.

  a. close all the gadgets.

  b. open an elevated command prompt window.

  To do:

  i. click on start > all programs.

  II. click props.

  III. right click on the command prompt and then click run as administrator.

  c. in the command prompt window, type the following commands one at a time and press ENTER:

  regsvr32 scrrun.dll

  regsvr32 jscript.dll

  If the registration was successful, you will see the message DllRegisterServer in succeeded to for each executed command.

  You use the FoxTab add-on? If so, disable it. I had the same small white square in the upper right corner of Firefox when I updated to version 4.0 beta, so I disabled my modules one by one to see that it was originally and it turned to be FoxTab. It does not jive well with Firefox 4.0.

  This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

  Important - do not use the System Configuration utility to stop the process. Use rather Start > Run > services.msc [Enter] and stop all services unless you really, really know what you're doing.

  Have you done any recent changes to the computer, such as adding software, hardware, or updates?

  How long have you had this problem? If it is a recent issue, follow the steps to perform a System Restore.

  Try using a regular background with no photo and see if the problem goes away.  There may be a problem with the use of the images on the desktop and I want to exclude.

  Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

  Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

  You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should get updates for your video card and your monitor at least and all the others you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   In the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
  In the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
  Click Finish.
  The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.
