• Internal microphone will turn not on/stopped working... help

  OK... so The Interal Mic has stopped working - it will not record audio in videos or recordings. It is not the PC speakers because they work perfectly. The internal MIC is on & I also never used any other USB Mic.  Another thing, I tried Mic TROUBLESHOOTING - no problem was detected.  There also, the Mic light (red) when the Mic works does not turn on either.

  I sometimes wiped the computer area webcam & mic with a not-very - wet cloth could... which might have damaged it?  I bought this laptop - about 2 years ago and it stopped working for a few months.

  Hello and thanks for posting back with this information.  Yes, it's perfect.

  So what you may have been a problem here is that the internal MIC is connected with the webcam.

  A lot of times on computers cell phones because of the way the cable is routed through the readjusted screen, they can be removed when you close the screen causing it to loosen it enough to make the microphone to fail.

  OK so my sister has been using my computer last night, when it was made using it she just closed it witch automatically put in mode 'sleep' and gave it back to me. later that night I opened this herd all the normal sounds of the laptop but the backlight does not turn. the screen looks completely black, except that I see a darkness where the hp logo lights across the screen in the lower right corner. in fact when I use the scanner of thumb to activate windows I can see the date and time, dimly lit in this corner and can move the mouse on and see. I connected my laptop to my TV via hdmi and it works absolutely fine, which is how I'M writing this issue right now. I tried to update the drivers for my graphics card, but that did nothing. It's just the backlight does not turn no more. is it far from accidentally turn the backlight on or off? If I have to completely replace the monitor or just replace the lighting? any suggestions?

  Honestly, this sounds like a problem of carrier. Are you able to make/receive calls or send and receive text messages? I would first check with the carrier to make sure that your phone is still set up to use mobile data. Something was accidentally deleted when they merged your bills.

  Looks like you might have some performance issues with the computer rather that readers flash... but first of all, I would like to try to take the flash drives to a friends and ensure that they are working very well... • HP connected not working for me

  My Officejet Pro 8600 Plus worked perfectly when talk to the ePrintCenter.  Since all migrated HP to HP connected, the printer status was classified as 'offline' and the printer will not connect to the HP Server connected.

  There is nothing wrong with my internet connection and the printer works perfectly in "wireless" mode on my intranet.  The printer firmware is current (even if has not been updated by HP since before the creation of HP connected) and there is no information on what to use as a "Proxy" settings when you are prompted in the Web Services configuration.

  Given that I can't solve this problem and I have other ways to print from remote locations, I wanted to disable my account connected to HP but impossible because the option to do this, as shown in the instructions for help/support has been removed from the box account settings dialogue.

  At this point, I need to be able to fix this problem or remove myself from HP connected altogether.

  Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are having problems with the ePrint printer Officejet 8600 more function.

  Looks like you have disabled web services on your printer, you are to be invited to a proxy when in the Web Services configuration.   To activate the web services please configure a manual manual ip address and the addresses of the DNS servers.  I've included a link to another post with screenshots to set a manual ip address and DNS servers.  Please note that if you had already customized your address email ePrint this ePrint personalized email address is no longer available.

When I go to scanners and cameras in Control Panel, the scanner appears. If I select properties and use the Test button, it tells me that the scanner is not working properly. But when I select Scan profile, I told myself that no scanners were detected. This happens on both connections. Why the scanner does not work on one of them?

  I downloaded the latest driver from Canon and the latest CanoScan Toolbox.

  I want to get rid of the connection that the scanner works on. What should I do?

  You can try to uninstall the scanner > remove this connection > reinstall the Scanner.

  Ive just upgraded the machine above 10 win 10 with the help of this site. Everything works fine except one thing, I can not turn on WiFi.

  The orange LED on the touch screen under the screen and the front edge of the machine are both orange and when I try to use the touch screen to turn it on nothing happens.

  All other keys work fine so I don't think that's the problem. I don't know another way to activate the WiFi on this machine.

  The WiFi card is recognized in Windows 10 Device Manager and I have re-installed the card and made sure the antenna cables are properly connected.

  Anyone had similar problems with WiFi / Win 10 works is not on this machine model?

  SOLVED

  I'm frustrated, trying to get the WiFi works because it is a machine I was in the process of selling and I had no user file to worry about, I decided to clean install Windows 10 and re - install Windows 7.

  I did this and load all nessasary drivers but no matter what I did the WiFi refused to turn on. I did several searches and HP Wireless Assistant who got the status of 'Wireless LAN' was OFF but the Start button is grayed out so I couldn't activate it.

  While remaining in the wireless Assistant I hit the WiFi button on the touch screen and a message appeared telling me to unplug my Ethernet cable. As soon as it is unplugged the button power on in the Wireless Assistant has become clickable and I was able to turn on the WiFi!

  So it seems that if you connect an Ethernet cable to this model of HP, the WiFi system is disabled and the only way for him help is by unplugging the Ethernet cable.

  I think I'm going to stick with Win 7 because I'm still not sure that the wireless card is supported under Win 10
