  However, for cloning, you can use a USB cable to SATA, with which you can connect your hard drive to the USB port on the computer and transfer all the data from the old to the new drive.

  Replacement POWER supply is a must if you want to GF550 or higher. Go at least 500W and make sure it has 6 pins VGA extra power connector. About the VGA card I'd rather go to GF460, which is older and can be less expensive and beats GF550

  NVidia reference card should fit into your chassis, but the size may vary according to the manufacturer.

  I have a pavilion A6000 and yes it's old but its running very well, but it has 512 MB of cache, speed: PC2-4200 MB/s and upgrade suggestions other than to get a new table.  need to know what to buy.  I have 4 GB of memory and a 32-bit to work with.

  The only way to restore the preloaded applications is to do a factory restore. Alternatively you can download it via PlayStore.

• A6000 Sony will not connect to my wifi

  So, I just bought the a6000 and I wanted to download the soft "direct download" memories camera app game.

  Well, I connect to my wifi, put my password and when its connection to the PlayMemories camera application it shows me an error message that says:

  Could not connect to the server. Set the zone/Date/time and check the 'network settings '.

  I tried to change the date and time, but it keeps giving me this error and I don't know how to fix it.

  Does anyone else have this problem? any suggestions?

• Get the right drivers for my desktop a6000

  Hi I'm new to this site can someone please help me find the right drivers for my computer, the model number on the case is a6000 and it's a deskstop, I just removed Vista from my computer and put windows xp professional on this topic, I did a new install and of course I forgot to backup all my drivers and I looked on the HP site for the correct drivers , but my machine is not listed, but I found one with the same motherboard which is a HP M2N 68 THE (FATHER) but the rest of the speciffications aren't the same model of tis only shows 160 gig drive hard mine has 500 as it only shows 1 gig of memory mine has 3 gig so I am at a loss to which are the correct drivers for this model , I just discovered that the a6000 is a reference not to a complete HPkit, including printers ect, any help on this would be much appreciated.

  The difference in the models must be that yours has a videocard, AMD Radeon HD 3450 rather than use nVidia graphics on board.

  So, this driver should work for you based on the hardware ID you have posted.

• Lightroom 6 and Sony ARW files: any ideas on how to open them?

  I've recently upgraded to a version in retail box of the of the LR5 LR6 on a Windows 7 PC. Before I installed LR6 I had to covert all my (of a gun D 760) CR2 files to DNG files to open. But since LR6, I can't open the CR2 files no problem. If all well and good...

  However, my son uses a camera Sony A6000 and he sent me a file ARW (RAW native format of Sony) to change its name and I can not open in Lightroom 6 in all.

  I tried to convert a DNG file and a Tiff file, but when I navigate to the appropriate folder, Lightroom is not 'visible' as well as all other DNG files in the same folder. When I try to add the Lightroom file 'sees' the other DNG and CR2 files... just not the ARW file converted.

  Oddly enough, I seem to be able to open the ARW file in Photoshop CS5, but when I save it in Tiff format in that Lightroom is unable to see when I'm sailing on the desktop or in the folder I have recorded.

  PS I also tried opening the ARW files in Lightroom directly by converting only the DNG files, but that does not work either.

  Does anyone else have any experience of this? No workaround would be greatly appreciated.

  The A6000 has been supported from 5.4 LR - see devices supported by Camera Raw . It is not a compressed format, is it? I don't know much about Sony, but I wonder if that's the problem.

  As an experiment, place the ARW file in a folder to share, and then see if you can import it.

• My A6000 links is no longer in my Android smart phone.

  My A6000 can no longer be connected to PlayMemories on my Android.  Worked fine until yesterday.  I tried on the phones of two friends A6000s and two Apple - they do not work either.  Phone says "connecting" and Android/Apple says "connected."

  Reset the phone, restored the password, transferred a picture by using 'send to the smartphone' and after the a photo transferred all failed with the "connected" / "connection" and "activate WiFi on your shooting device" of PlayMemories.

  Phone says, "out of range" for the SSID of the camera.

  Do you have a hint of what I do then?

  When transfer or copy files to a smartphone, WiFi is automatically shut off when all files have been copied. You will have to setup connection again for the camera to transmit via Wifi. If you are not able to connect again, I suggest to reinstall the Playmemories Mobile application and restart both devices.

• Vibrations of merger HDR and camera

  I use a Manfrotto 055 X Pro tripod with a Manfrotto 332RC2 head, when the mirror lock is used, this configuration produces excellent results. There is however a slight vibration when the mirror is raised, then again after the image was captured. A game in square brackets of images so not perfectly align. The auto align feature CC Lightroom Photo merge HDR, copes well with this option. I can't help, but wonder, if a perfectly aligned set of RAW images would have produced superior HDR images.

  Have you guy, who use more expensive (and probably higher) tripods and heads that are your images alignment brackets perfectly or do you still use auto HDR Photo Merge align option?

  If you use the mirror lock, there should be no effect on the stroke of the vibrations that occur when the mirror is raised, just make sure that you wait long enough for them to dissipate. And how the vibrations of the mirror once the image has been captured would affect the shot?

  Another thing to check: make sure that the reduction of Vibration (RV) or the stabilization of Image (IS) is turned off the POWER if you have the camera on the tripod. (At least that your goal has a setting for VR or IS while on a tripod, it is.)

• After using the converter DNG, Lightroom always recognize and import my photos...

  I just started shooting with a Sony A6000 and could not import the photos because of compatibility issues with my current version of lightroom (4.4).  After having read about it on the forums I found that I had to download LR5 or use the DNG Converter and then import into LR.  I opted for the difficulty of the problem free and downloaded (compatible with Sony A6000) v8.4 DNG Converter.  Now, after you convert my photos freshly slaughtered in DNG, I tried to import them into Lightroom with the copy and move functions (because I like the Organization of the files I put in place by LR) but every time I find myself with a dialog box saying "Unable to move a file at the location requested."  In the import window, LR showed clearly previews of images. During the conversion to DNG, I assured photos are compatible with Camera RAW v7.1 and later (my LR a v7.4) and I tried the two built-in Fast Load Data and not... Also, I use a MacBook Pro OS X 10.9 if that makes a difference.  Am I missing something? I don't see what the problem is... All I want to do is to organize and edit my new pictures of my new camera on LR without having to pay an extra $80 for the new LR just because I have a new camera...

  This could be a permissions problem, especially if you use a Mac computer. Make sure that you have write permissions for the folder you are trying to import.

  I have an A6000 and a NEX 5R.
  On the 5R when I put the Time lapse mode custom application
  of a sudden and I have some follow-up on the exhibition.
  But on the A6000 with the same application in custom mode, I can't following exposure at work.
  The subject I need to pull has change the lighting conditions that I can't control.
  So I need the camera to adjust.
  How you do this with the A6000?. Is the useful AEL button here. ?
  During a few hours, the light changes so that I may need to manually set the ISO using TimeLapse (200 at 1600ISO). Is it possible to set the camera to do? And how could it be implemented?

  The Low, Med and options high tracking sensitivity sets the speed at which exposure adopts exposure based on the variation of brightness. The faster the sensitivity of tracking, smooth the transition will be as the exposure of the scene changes.
