  You actually bought LR 5?  If so did you register it at Adobe.com?  If Yes, then connect to Adobe.com with the AdobeID you used to sign up, click on manage account then in the box produced a few clicks and you should see the serial number for LR 5 that you saved.

  Hello everyone. I have a few questions I have to answer in what concerns the result of the migration of the database. Yesterday, I just migrated our 8.1.7.4.0 existing 10.1.0.2.0, using the database 10 g upgrade Assistance. Initially, there are a few hicups, but in the end, the migration went smoothly and completed in no time.
  
  My first question is, although it said the migration of the database is successful in the end, is there an indication in the database or anywhere to prove that migrating to 10g is really successful?
  
  My next question is that, because my old base database 8i uses WE8ISO8859P1 characterset and he warned me to change all NCHAR columns in the user tables to one of the supported types. It's a fair assumption that if my 8i database lacks all the user tables with NCHAR, NVARCHAR2, or NCLOB columns, I can safely ignore the warning messages (which I did) and continue the upgrade process.

  first of all, let me ask the question why you are moving to a version that will not be Premier Support in January 2009 - why do not move you to 10.2.0.4 instead?

  The DBUA should tell you that the upgrade was successful - otherwise run utlu101s.sql or see DBA_REGISTRY if all components have been upgraded successfully.

  National character set conversion is required because your National Characterset in 8i had most likely been WE8ISO... and since 10g only UTF8 and some other unicode charactersets are allowed. But you can check if you have used NCHAR, NVARCHAR2, and NCLOB columns somewhere.

• Where can I enter the product key for Vista upgrade to Windows 7 Professional?

  I bought Windows 7 Professional PIN from Best Buy. I was told that I could move from Vista by going nd online during extraction of the key using the PIN code.  I got the key and follow the instructions. After clicking on upgrade of Windows antime a box does not seem to enter the product key

  You cannot use the Express upgrade from Vista to WIndows 7 - you must use a full upgrade disk.

• Chinese Windows 7 Basic Upgrade to Windows 8 English?

  I recently broke my laptop on my first day of a year abroad in China and had to buy a replacement with Chinese user interface.  Now, I'm trying to understand the best way to get it in English.

  I can at any time upgrade to English or change the language of the user interface, and a full upgrade would be too costly.

  I don't think I can restart the HDD with Win7 English and activate with a key product of the laptop because there is no English version of the home edition basic and the license probably does not cover Premium.

  My best current idea beyond paying for Windows two times when I just bought, is to reinstall with Windows 8 version premiere in English, which is not a language clash and then move at a great price to Windows 8 in 2 months.  The only problem is my Chinese product key will allow me to register for the upgrade of Win8?

  There is no worries about saving the files or programs, the laptop is currently empty outside Chinese bloatware.

  I don't know, its Chinese Windows 8 possible distributions are Geo-blocked, which means that you can not activate it outside the country. In fact, Microsoft has developed a Windows 8 edition, just for China.

  We spend 11g to 12 c version and decided to make fresh application instead of upgrading existing environment in underlying reason, components and changes to the OS.

  We were wondering if we can reuse or upgrade existing 11g domain config.xml to avoid a lot of rework manual configuration?

  Is this possible or allowed? I know that standard documentation States no upgrade of the half, but always ask if people have used different ways to preserve the customization to the domain during these upgrades.

  I am trying to upgrade the drivers and firmware for the NICs Broadcom in a PowerEdge R820 vSphere ESXi 6 running. I have no problem finding drivers because they are provided by VMware.

  About the firmware, it is currently firmware version 7.2 and I want to go to version 7.12, but looking at Dell's Support page I can't find the way to full upgrade (7.12 release notes recommend that 7.5.8 installed, but I can't find a link to this version (, or any earlier version).

  APEX 3.2.x installation that follows is users:

  • Oracle Application Express Application user: APEX_030200
  • Oracle Application Express user files: FLOW_FILES

  So to determine the tablespace_apex and the tablespace_files you must connect with the user sys with sysdba privilege and run the following query:

  SELECT USERNAME
       , DEFAULT_TABLESPACE
    FROM DBA_USERS
   WHERE USERNAME IN ('FLOWS_FILES','APEX_030200')
  

  Then use the APEX_030200 user as tablespace_apex tablespace and a tablespace of the FLOW_FILES user as tablespace_files.
