I can't install my Windows Vista Edition full upgrade because WINDOWS POWERSHELL is installed. How can I remove it?
-Need to uninstall for Vista Ultimate Upgrade - HOW?
This question has been posted before, but I don't see an answer to the problem.
I just reinstall Vista after replacing a failed hard drive - new clean install.
When I try to run my upgrade: Home Premium to Ultimate, I get a message that I need to uninstall Windows Powershell first. How to uninstall it? When I try the usual functionality of uninstalling programs, Powershell is not listed as an existing program.

Need HELP: Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade Windows Vista Edition full
When my phone was broken, one of my friends that he fixed and did not know that it has installed Windows 7 Ultimate in there which is not legitimate. Originally, Windows Vista Home Premium has been installed in it. I want to go back to Windows Vista and I have a drive to install Windows Vista Edition full and wanted to install it without losing my files. How can I do?
Hello
It's not a downgrade.
Unless you have a windows.old folder, you cannot reinstall Vista without losing your files and programs.
You will need to do a clean install.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
You can use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Can I update to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit of Windows Vista Edition full 32 bit?
I've updated for Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and had to use the 32-bit version, so I wouldn't lose my data.
I have a ThinkPad T61 with a Permas Core 2 Duo CPU T9500 with 4 GB of RAM.
Can I upgrade to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit of Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit OS without losing my data? If I can, my programs work with the 64 bit version? In addition, what are the benefits of upgrading to the 64-bit version?
No, you will need to do a clean install.

Qosmio G30-176: BSOD when installing Windows Vista Edition full
I have my wisdom(??!!) I bought a Toshiba Qosmio g30-176 with preinstalled Windows XP MCE 2005. The plan was to install Windows Vista Ultimate on drive D: (do the dual machine boot XP & Vista). I've updated the BIOS today on the Toshiba site and I ran Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor.
I started the upgrade of Vista (custom) and installed the Toshiba RAID drive C: Qosmio (driver C:\toolscd\raid) driver. Installation starts copying the files from the Vista installation disc. This completes OK.
The upgrade then continues to "unpack"(?) ". files - part way through this restarting of the o/s.
To restart the Qosmio stop with the blue screen of death and the "SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED" message "STOP: 0x0000006f (0xC000009D, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).What is the error?
What should I do to fix it?
Thanks - Alan EHello

I read that Microsoft will end support and eventually none of these versions will be supported. Why isn't Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, which is marketed as "Designed for" more supported. It can be used by customers and the high - end or low-end companies.
They provide the update for all versions of vista and Office 15 and other programs after April 2012 compatible with Vista. It's support in my book.

I have a legitimate copy of windows in my hand with 2 CD case then why must I activate the same windows product, I had on my computer for 2 years. First of all I did not change any material in my computer so you can't use that excuse. I bought so many windows products since windows 3.1 to windows 98 for the Millennium of the window, xp home and professional and vista ultimate and now you say I have to buy a new copy. I can't believe this. I'm so angry. Go ahead and treat me like that. Just because you have the money and have the market you don't think I'm capable of anything, it's fraud and ripping off a consumer and you know. You have no reason for me to activate my windows again. It's like the 3 times on the same computer ruined. I does not change a single piece of hardware, and you want to deny my activation. all I know is that better, solve you the problem. It's so bad. If I lose my personal accounts and subscriptions I pay online because my windows is not working properly you're going to pay for them.
original title: what's your problem guys.According to the statement of 'Authentic' is concerned, be aware that any system that has not been activated (i.e. within the "grace period" will show as authentic except another problem.
You should also check that the word "Authorized" appears in the 'License' tab, under the license status.

Clean install of Windows Vista Edition family
Due to a Virus, I had to perform a cold install of Windows Vista Edition family. After completion and activation of the software, I received a message that my product is already in use. It was a clean install on the same computer that has more than 3 years.
Hello Steveowe,
It's normal. To activate it, you use telephone activation. It's free in most countries. See this link from my Web site: http://vistasupport.mvps.org/product_key_already_in_use.htm

Hello
Yes
You can upgrade from Vista Home Premium 32-bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit or 64 bit to 64 bit; but not from 32 bit to 64 bit or 64 bit to 32 bit
Before purchasing Windows 7, follow these steps:
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.
Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
