Ability of Pavillion Slimline s5610y Bluetooth

Pavillion Slimline s5610y has the Bluetooth capability, or do I need an adapter?

I moved your post to office equipment since you posted inadvertently in the notebook section.

It is compatible but not included in a desktop PC. Most laptops have this feature as part of the laptop.

Which plan you use with bluetooth?

You need to buy a usb bluetooth adapter (called a dongle) If you simply want to add capacity.

Moreover, some bluetooth devices come with a dongle.

A USB 3.0 interface card PCI-Express x 1 will do the trick. They sell them at NewEgg and many other providers.

  • Pavilion Slimline: Printer and Webcam not working only not with Pavillion Slimline, Windows 8

I'm writing to a friend... None of us is particularly in computer science.

Recently, his computer had to be replaced; so, she bought a used HP Pavilion Slimline, 400-034 PC with Windows 8 OS (not sure that all the operating system to 64-bit... just guessing).  The PC seems to work very well; However, with its previous system she used a printer (HP 7410 All in One) and a webcam (HP-HD-HD3110 & HD 3100).  She can't get either auxiliary to work devices.  Can anyone tell me if these components are compatible and that, if so, wherever it can access drivers or other software that may be required.

Also, would you recommend that she has first upgrade to Windows 10?

    Thank you

    Terry

    Hello Terry,

A Windows 8 driver must be installed to use the printer on the new PC.

You can either upgrade to Windows 10 or not, the printer is compatible with both operating systems and it is a matter of personal preference...

For 7410 printers, drivers can be downloaded from the following link:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL31015/MP-110171-4/Full_Webpack-140.0.408-5-AIO_CDB_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5.exe

Note: If the printer is connected to a USB port, unpulg the cable from your PC now.

In the devices Panel and printers and select remove device for the icon of the printer before installing the software.

Regarding the HP Webcam, I'm afraid that it's incompatible with Windwos 8.1 or Windows 10, it is only supported on Widnows 7 or earlier operating systems:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Web-cameras/4172393/model/4172477/document/c03162257#AbT1

You try to install the drivers for Windows 7 by using Compatibility Mode (download the file to your computer, right click and select Troubleshoot Compatibility and then follow the steps on the screen) but it has never tested on Windows 8 or 10 and if it works not you replace the webcam with a model more late which is compatible with the operating system.

  • HP Pavillion H8 - 1212C Bluetooth does not

Hi, this is a new machine, and bluetooth was working fine until yesterday.

The first question as a message of error "BTTray. "ERROR: unable to start Bluetooth stack service".

This isn't a problem with an external bluetooth device, that I'm conncting.  I get the error from the stack without attempting a connection.

When I try to connect to the device by double clicking on it in the devices window and printers, I get

"Bluetooth Device Control. This operation failed to initialize. Try again after turning off the Bluetooth and then back on. If the operation fails to initialize, try again after restarting this computer. »

    What I tried:

    1 HP drivers & Support

    All drivers are up-to-date

    2 Services.msc

Both Bluetooth Bluetooth Support Service Service started and are on automatic.  Stop these services, change their startup type and then initialiser initialize auto, doesn't change anything.

    3 device Manager and uninstall

Some HP Bluetooth Module. No driver updates available.  The device is disabled, and then enabled. No change. Then uninstalled device.

    4 reinstall the driver

Download wireless driver manually from the website of HP, reinstalled and restarted.  RESETTLEMENT proceeded without error, and my wireless network card still works. But same question, same "bluetooth stack error" at startup.

I'd appreciate any help.  I work in audio/video and use bluetooth speakers based, so it's a pose a big problem.

    Thank you

    Hello

Look under Bluetooth Radio devices in Device Manager. Open the device, go to the Details tab and find the hardware ID.  Find the vendor ID and the device ID and then go to the site below and make a quick glance upward.

    www.PCIdatabase.com

It is possible that the seller has an updated driver that could solve the problem.

If you do not find a driver or the driver provided is not the problem, then try to go back to a well-known Windows restore point before the problem started.

If the above does not resolve the problem, then contact the HP support because your PC is still covered by the warranty.

  • The specific power cord for my Pavillion Slimline can I or can I use any 3 components?

Sorry for the long cuff links in the title. I was wondering if I need a specific power cord or if I can use any string to 3 old shutters. Also have cords in the HP store? I had a devil of a time trying to find it. The computer is a Pavilion Slimline s5610f. Thanks from a newbie on the HP forums!

    Hello

Did you buy your machine from another country? I can't believe this, HP provides no USB cable on some printers and now without power cord for a PC. Even in many countries of the third world, they still have rules on the power cords and normal for a country power cords should be allowed to use on devices sold in this country. Have you checked the box, the store where you purchased the machine (if local) must provide a power supply for you.

    Kind regards.

  • No HP Slimline s5610y video only signal

    Hi, Hello,

I have problems with my desktop PC slimline, suddenly he began to lose the video signal and it froze completely, since neither the mouse or keyboard has replied after that.

Then I tried to force the shutdown by pressing and hold the power button and start again, but the problem persists, fans and all will turn on but no signal comes from port VGA or DVI, tested the monitor and cables with another computer in my home, and they work fine.

I tried reseting the CMOS, checking the RAM sticks one by one, but I have no luck, what do you guys think that would be the issue? Thanks a lot for your answer.

PS: I just got this PC in January this year, I think that he's still guaranteed, bye!

Hello nikeysunfire, you might try contacting HP support, since this seems to be a faulty component in the system.

As you suggest, if the system was a retail purchase and not renovated, it should have a one year warranty.

My computer is an Athlon II x 2 240 cpu.  What is the best processor I can improve, if possible.  The system has 3 GB of memory, with a maximum of 4.  Thank you.

    Most 95 watt TDP maximum AMD socket AM2 + / AM3 Athlon/II x 2 / x 3 / x 4 and II/Phenom x 3 / x 4 should work. HP does not provide a specific list of CPU support on this forum.

Call HP and ask if they can help you in some way. Depending on when you bought the computer and when their warranty value system to date, you can have a bit left of warranty. If the system says you're out of warranty, I can try to get a direct e-mail for you.

___ * Brief_: * when I'm trying to uninstall the battery Bluetooth I get error "error application of transformations. Check that specified transform paths are valid"

    * _Details *: _

I have the Satellite L755. It comes with Windows 7. I formatted and installed a fresh copy of Windows 8 Pro.
I installed all windows updates, then I ran Toshiba Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant and installed all of the components.
then after a few days, I've upgraded to 8.1 Windows through the store.
This icon beside the clock did not show the ability to turn on/off bluetooth and also through the settings (in the charm aside), change settings, PC and PC Bluetooth devices as it does not show to enable or disable Bluetooth.
I tried to re - install the battery Bluetooth, it gave an error.
I decided to uninstall the battery Bluetooth and then I get the error: "' error application of changes." Check that specified transform paths are valid"
    | installed Revo Uninstaller Pro but no advantage.
I have installed TuneUpUtilities2014 but no advantage.
I installed Wise Registr Cleaner but no advantage.
How can I uninstall it? Help, please?

I checked the Toshiba download page and I see your model of laptop is not supported for Win8.1, just for the upgrade of Win8.

Have you noticed some problems with own preinstalled Win8?

  • Ethernet not working not not on desktop slimline

Hello. I have a HP Pavillion Slimline S5310y

I had a power surge, the PSU burnt and a few weeks ago. I replaced it with ATHENA AP-MTFX-30 and authorities on the good and everything works. However, I couldn't connect to the internet. It connects using a basic connection but it doesn't seem to be able to connect to my FIOS internet. The ethernet cable looks fine and the light is green, where it is plugged and shows the connection of the modem. I thought maybe that the computer needed to be restored. I did a restore back to factory settings and it still does not recognize.

I am able to open internet explorer, but I ALWAYS get an error such as "this site could be dangerous" or something like that. I click on continue and it takes me to the page. However, I am unable to videos or download chrome or anything else. I get an error message saying that I am not connected to the internet. It's very strange.

Suggestions anyone please? I am at a loss here. Thank you for your help.

    Hello Dunidar,

I am pleased to announce that all works perfectly now. But it's a weird tiny simple solution that did it. I went through every step that you gave me and it didn't fix the problem. I had already done a restore to factory before even to communicate with you, but I went ahead and did it again. The following error message whenever I open IE so I did another search on google. It turns out that (for some reason any) my clock was given to the year 2002 and that once it was OK should solve the problem. I was skeptical but I looked and my clock said 2002. I went and fixed the problem and put in the correct date and year. AND EVERYTHING WORKED PERFECTLY. I am able to connect without any problem, including everything that I need to download.

I can't thank you enough for all your help. You went above and beyond to help me through this. I was ready to give up and buy a new computer. Now my old computer works as if it was new again. Thank you once again!
