Abnormal termination of the program Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error

Whenever I try to install Rosetta Stone "Of the program Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error abnormal termination" is displayed. I tried Microsoft fix the thing but it does not work. Someone please help. I get the message when I download the program on the website of the Rosetta Stone. I can install it with the cd but when I run the program it does not come to the top and the compatibility mode will not work. The program is compatible with windows 7, but my computer says it is not.

A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program to function properly. Runtime errors can occur if you are running two software programs that aren't compatible, if your computer has memory problems, or if the computer has been infected by malware.

Therefore, I suggest you to check if there are recent updates available for the program from the manufacturer's website.

Contact the xxxxxxxxx support for assistance on this issue.

This type of error can be caused if the Visual C++ library runtime components are missing or because of a third-party software.

Follow the steps below:

Method 1:
If the problem is caused by the lack of Visual C++ libraries, you can download and install the Runtime components of Visual C++ libraries from the link below:

This error can occur when the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.

Try it out below step to reinstall and repair installation of Microsoft .NET Framework on the computer, then check if you can install the software.

(a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click on 'Turn Windows has or not.' If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

(b) search for Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 uncheck, click OK and restart the computer.

(c) after the reboot, open again "Turn Windows features on or off" and place a check next to Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 and restart the computer.

Step 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you manually download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable Package and check to see if you can install the software.

In programs and features, you do not show that you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable? If this is not the case, download the links here.

  • Battle of abnormal termination of the program 2142 (bf2142)

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Beta, I have had no problems running all my favorite games.  Once I've upgraded to Windows 7 Pro, I had some problems with games.  I'll stick to the subject and only discuss 2142.  After my Windows 7 Pro upgrade, I initially installed BF 2142 and new patches.  He played for a few days with no problems.  Then, I received the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error "abnormal termination of the program."  I get this right after the splash screen for the program ends.  This is not a consistent error.  Sometimes, the game will run for days and then suddenly, without any installation or known Exchange I got the error once.  I tried rebooting, uninstall and reinstall the game, change the resolution options specified in the icon and other things.  Not really interested in blame it on the BONE or the game.  I just want to play my game on the system I built with consistency.    Really hope someone can help.  Thank you in advance!

I suggest that you put your system in clean boot and see if the problem occurs.  With it being so random, it may be another program that is confilicting with BF2142.

    Hello

have you downloaded this CD? If so, I think that something is wrong in the download. Try to download again. It is also possible that you downloaded the correct version for your OS something like a version of Linux on a Windows operating system.

If it's a CD that you've got to Oracle, you must contact to get a new.

  • Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error library! Explorer.exe

Hello. This issue has recently become a major problem. (A little) I know the cause of the problem; However, I'm not 100% sure of it. I get this error every time I have name a folder symbol (tested with-, ~,!, and @), then try to right-click or rename the folder. It's the exact error message I receive:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Runtime error!

    Program: C:\Windows\explorer.exe

This application has requested the execution to terminate in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team.

Although this error message on my screen, explore continues to work very well; However, as soon as I click 'OK' or try to X out the window, explorer.exe stops and restarts. I saw several other users showing similar problems with explorer.exe crashing on a right click on the files, so I tried to follow some of the steps they did to solve my problem. The majority of the questions that I looked through suggested the deletion/modification of certain registry entries. I followed all the steps and changed the various inputs with no luck.

After looking through all the possible solutions for explorer.exe crashing on a right click, I migrated in search of solutions for "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error explorer.exe." I found few who have had a similar problem and received this error on click with the right button on the files, but my question was still a little different. This problem does not affect all my folders or a specific file. This problem affects any folder with the name of a symbol.

I currently have a folder on my desktop named "-" (without the quotes) with most of the files on my computer inside. I just want to rename the folder without having to go through a lot of trouble. Rename the folder via CMD is not a solution. I get the "Access denied" message even if I run cmd.exe as administrator. I then started looking for ways to workaround for this lack of access and found a few useless solutions. The first solution I found suggested that I have change permissions for the folder. This was not helpful, because it was a right click on the file (out of, I can't do...). Another solution suggested to start the computer in safe mode and rename it from there. It also did not work, I still received the error "access denied."

I'm kind of at a loss on what to do now. Here is a list of all the things I've tried, so please do not re - suggest what I've tried:

    • Restart the computer
    • Changing various registry files
    • Reinstallation of Microsoft Visual C++ (14 versions I had...)
    • Try renaming the file via the command prompt (w / run as administrator)
    • Try renaming the file via the Safe Mode command prompt
    • Scan my computer with antivirus (...) software

There are probably a few more things I have tried and I forgot to include. This problem is happening for over a year now, so I had time to try a large number of possible solutions. I still have to find another person with exactly the same problem as me (the problem does not occur on files named a symbol). I do not plan to try to try reinstalling windows (/ create a restoration/image/etc.) I have quite simply do not have the time and should not have to reinstall my entire operating system to solve a stupid question. If it comes down to it, I'll just create another folder and move all my folder name "-" to the new. The only reason why I was stay to do this, is that the record is more than 100 GB. I believe there is a solution more simple I am just missing.

Sorry, this message is rather unorganized. I am very frustrated by this issue and find a solution fairly quickly.

Thanks in advance for the advice I received help.

    Clay S.
