  Did you check device manager if the drive is recognized properly?

  Additionally, make sure that you disable the antivirus and firewall programs just to make sure that these programs do not block the detected printer.

  Note: You must enable the /firewall antivirus as soon as you've done troubleshooting. If this is not the case, your computer will be vulnerable to viruses.

  Something else I found on the disc is not recognized... Plug it into the usb port as described above and restart the pc, I got this job...

The BIOS reports as the 3rd disc, ST3750630AS and SMART spent testing.  But it does not appear on my computer (so that I can format it, if necessary.)  When I installed Nero Backitup 4, you can also see the drive, but there are no partitions.

  Issues related to the:

  1. How to format or get this drive recoginized?
  2. Can I install this download of the firmware on my 1.5 GB Seagate, my 1.0 GB of Seagate (another storage drive) and the 750 GB Seagate? If Yes, when I reboot, can I select which drives to apply to?
