  Dear all,
  
  What is the 'user access' in the Apex. When I type:
  
  Select the username of all_users;
  
  I do not see users that I created at the Apex (I use Oracle XE). What I need is:
  
  I have a table by its name of 'Agents' and I need to let each officer sees its files only without displaying the records of others.

  In the agents table how do you store the user details (of the apex user who packed / "holds" the record)? In other words how can a record to identify the user, can you have a column where you insert these data, do you establish this apex or use a trigger?

• If you do not have such a column add a first

  ALTER table add Agents (record_owner VARCHAR2 (100))

• When you insert records into this table, set this column with v ('APP_USER') as a trigger or directly from the PLSQL process.

• Then change the report query to filter the records owned by this user

  Select * agents where record_owner =: APP_USER.

• HTTP 400 Bad Request when it accesses Oracle XE/Apex of the Internet

  I have Oracle Express Edition upgrade to the Apex 3.2. I can access everything (SQL, Apex HTTP command prompt) on my local machine. I configured the remote access on a default undefined port (no 8080) server.
  
  I've run: exec dbms_xdb.setListenerLocalAccess (false);
  
  I can access the server using:
  
  http://Coyote:9977 / apex (which brings me to the login screen of Services of Administration Application Express)
  
  ("coyote" is the name of the local computer to my Windows Vista box, where the Oracle/Apex server.)
  
  But when I try:
  
  http://internet_server_name:9977 / apex
  
  (where "internet_server_name" is the internet DNS name visible to my machine visible to the internet.)
  
  I get 'HTTP 400 Bad Request'
  
  I know that demand is hitting the Oracle listener (pass through the firewall, router, cable modem, etc.) as the http attempt results in the entry:

  This seems to be a security problem (is the server an application of "outside" of the local domain?)

  This sounds like a job for the COUNT function.  Count how many of these groups, each user is in and choose the restaurant where the count is 4.

  Because I don't have a copy of your table, I'll use the table scott.emp (which almost everyone) to illustrate.

  Say we want to find jobs that are each of the evolutionary 10, 20 and 30:

  Job SELECTION

  FROM scott.emp

  WHERE deptno IN (10, 20, 30)

  Working GROUP

  HAVING COUNT (DISTINCT deptno) = 3

  ;

  Output:

  JOB

  ---------

  CLERK

  MANAGER

  It doesn't matter whether or not the same work appears in other departments; only lines whose data deptnos (10, 20 and 30) are considered.

  I I find a way to allow access to applications apex of remote machines in my local network. Local access works very well. I need allow users to access their customers-browser web applications by using the URL as http://lugao-pc:8282 / apex. I use Apex 4.1.1 in Oracle 11 g 2, using Embedded PL/SQL gateway
  
  I've seen other posts that say remote HTTP connection allow the database using DBMS_XDB EXEC. SETLISTENERLOCALACCESS (false); in SQLPlus as SYSDBA. But that doesn't did not help me. I think it is because I use the PL/SQL no Oracle HTTP Server gateway. If am not wrong how do I allow remote access using existing installation?

  Hello

  You must run DBMS_XDB EXEC. SETLISTENERLOCALACCESS (FALSE); If you use Embed PL/SQL gateway.
  If you want to use another HTTP server then it is useless.

  Did you try to turn your firewall server to and see works the connection then?

• Templates and access levels

  I am trying to apply access levels to 60 pages of my site.  Levels of access are stored in the users table and their name of user, password, and other account information.

  When the access level is applied to a page, I get an error message, "this document model is from does not allow for changes outside the < html > tag."  The changes will be rejected. »

  I want to be able to make changes to my template and affect all the pages of the site, but individual changes to the access level to each page (or if I could create a second model and apply each to a page), but I tried it and can not understand.

  Here's the thing.  I was not realizing at first that you were using a built-in behavior of DW.  It was the source of my question.  What I was trying to get out of this is the structure of your table.  For example, in a case like this, you should potentially have 2-3 tables SQL.  Let's call them users, groups, and permissions.

  Basically, your users table connects a group of users.  Each group has its own information, so a second table, then the features pages of permissions based on the group, the third table.  The permissions table must consist of the user id and the name of the page group.  You then need to write a SQL query that would choose the user table, to check the connection and session and join the permissions to ensure then the logged in user has access to the page.  This isn't something that is usually done via the click of a mouse with a graphical interface.  It is usually coded by hand.  It might be possible to put the DW code in a header file, then change it to become automated like this, but I'm not familiar enough with the code to appeal from this judgment.  The closest thing I could think of in regards to an extension would probably be this: http://www.webassist.com/dreamweaver-extensions/powercms-builder/?lid=websitebuilders .

  Honestly I generally recommend for a person in your case to seriously consider a Content Management System (CMS) Drupal, Wordpress, CMSMadeSimple or anything in this sense because they have the built-in user control or with an installed extension.  It would save you a lot of work trying to get this working.

  There was a profile option in version 11.5 ("simultaneous access level: request") which allowed you to define if the users were able to view the output of simultaneous queries by other users (within the same responsibility).
  
  We have all implemented exit 12, but found that this profile no longer exists. Does anyone know how (if at all), you can allow users to view the output of concurrent requests by others?

  You will find the ink levels estimated in the upper part of the software.

  Today, I upgraded Apex 4.0 to 4.1.
  
  I use Express-authentication Application for my application. After the upgrade, I tested the End User accounts. I discovered, that end users (with no team-development-access privileges of account) have access to the development team.
  
  They have no button to perform a direct connection in the development of the team, but along the utilities in the sidebar that they can get access to the entire development team.
  
  Am I the only one having this problem? I don't want to develop my own authentication method...
