Accidental file deletion Muse for published site...

Hello

I've recently developed a site through Muse, and since then he has published with GoDaddy hosting. I made several updates and exported HTML from Muse to keep the site up-to-date. However, I recently had an accident and found that the file of muse is gone. I still have the HTML that has been exported as it was in a different folder.

The question is... is there a way to reimport the exported data to Muse? If not, is it possible that Adobe Catalyst has these data?

Any info. would be very useful. I'm really not looking forward to rebuild the site.

Thanks in advance,

Greg Krywusha

P.S. Congratulations on a great program.

Hi Greg,.

Unfortunately, it's not a way to import the HTML to Muse, if the file is really gone, you have to re-create the site. Sorry!

  • Problems downloading a file of muse for the first time. Museutils.js is not on the local disk on the file index.html.

    Hi all

I hope someone can help because I'm a little desperate.

I started to design a page with a muse of Qooqee model: SENSE.

I worked for a month on this issue. When I was about to finish, I got a message that there is a new version of Muse to update. I did the update when I was still working in the design.

When I finished the desktop version, I downloaded using the "upload to the ftp host" button. All fine until he has gave a "error on the index.html file.

So, I was unable to complete the first uploaded to the online page.

My husband, who knows a bit about coding, opened the index.html file, and we have seen a warning: MUSEUTILS. JS IS NOT ON THE LOCAL DISK.

Reading questions similar to the forum that I can guess that the problem has been built with I started with the earlier version of the Muse and updated the Muse version in the workplace, when I finished the page.

Now, the page is not alive because I am not able to download the file.

I don't know if that's the problem, however. I downloaded a fresh sense of QooQee model and erase all content and pages name I will use them (he has added a few pages and I moved the contact page somewhere else on the site map). Then, publish the page Go Daddy and have the same problem. Error on the index.html file. For that I am lost again, because everything has been done with the same version of Muse and the latest model of sense (I don't know how they update the models).Screen Shot 2016-02-18 at 12.12.01 PM.png

Can you please give an idea on how to solve the problem? What I have to redo the entire page?

Thanks in advance, you are my last hope.

Good to see that we can exclude a Muse for the functioning and the collection of production. The problem must lie in the specifics and/or requirements of GoDaddy, hosting provider. The Muse team is very aware of being a very popular hosting provider GoDaddy , so they want to learn all the occasional problems or quirks that might appear with Muse in combination with these suppliers. It might have to do with the current version of Muse, but it could also be a coincidence that GoDaddy has begun to change some things on their side as well. Or it could even be a Gremlin (colloquial term for a software bug temporary and inexplicable) blocking a circuit which seems to happen from time to time...

Are you sure that you follow all the advice and guidelines in this FAQ: download an Adobe Muse of the site to a third-party hosting service ?

  • Delete cookies for a site

I delete cookies for a particular site, "Sportsbet", by selecting each item in the drop-down list (see attachment), close the page witnesses and then go the site and the connection, and then close the site and return to the page of cookies, and the site I removed with the drop-down list even is back in it. Could advise you please?

Most sites send cookies when the first query and then be updated after the connection. If understand your scenario, you checked the cookies after you have returned to the site, and it would be logical to see the cookies in the list after that. At least you said Firefox NOT accept cookies from this site, but then you probably could not connect successfully.

  • How to publish a single page of Muse for the site which also has a Wordpress site

I have a site (ddmdigital.com) that has Wordpress on it. I need to create multiple independent, autonomous Muse pages that I join this site... not to be accessible since the Wordpress site, which is only accessed from the site itself. For example, I want to put the files in a folder called FB url would be ddmdigital.com/fb/pagename. I can't understand how to specify in the "FTP to the Url" dialog of Muse I want to download them. I created the folder called FB and tried to use it but Muse just says no: "found no record of the same name."

I did it by FTP - ing manually all the files, but I would use Muse publish feature. Any help?

    Thank you!

Screenshot of ftp window will help you. Alternatively, you can export the HTML pages and then upload to your server using any FTP client.

    Thank you

  • Does not open my file of Muse: "this file Adobe Muse of the site requires a newer version of Adobe Muse. Please upgrade to the latest version. »

My final project for this quarter in a web design class is due in less than a week. And suddenly, after months of work with this exact file, it will not open. I try to open it in CC (the most recent version of Muse) to school. At home, I downloaded a trial version of it. I think that the trial would be the absolute latest version... and even if it wasn't, why can't the even newer version open it? Please help me. And what do I do if my trial version has expired (I'm not home right now, so I can't check...) and I can't open it to fix it (if that's what I had to do..)?

Note: at school we have CC, always up to date. At home, I have CS6, but downloaded a trial version of Muse. So, I think that the trial would be the most recent and CC not CS6. I don't know, though!

Note: is there a way to extend my trial version, like, an hour, to retrieve this file? Altogether, it would suck if I can't get it back now. I spent a lot of time on it.

Could you please send me the file muse at [email protected] along with a link to this topic. If they are more than 20 MB, you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc..
while I can check and help get this resolved?

  • My client cannot open my file Adobe Muse CC 2015, even though we have both the version of the program.

This is my first time using the forums, so I apologize in advance if I've formatted this question somehow wrong.

I worked with one of my clients for the past two weeks. I created a simple website for him using Adobe Muse CC 2015. It is worth noting that I upgraded CC 2015 11 days through the creative cloud desktop application. It should also be noted that I have creative cloud for free via a subscription school.

Once the site is finished, I passed the file to my client, which also uses Adobe Muse CC 2015. Whenever we try to open the site, however, we are invited with the error: "this file Adobe Muse of the site requires a more recent version of the muse of adobe." My question is, why my client receives this error message when he himself has the Muse more up-to-date?

    Thank you in advance!

Your probable customer has Muse CC 2015 as well but not the latest version of it. There was an update there or then a few weeks ago. If your client has probably not updated.

    Hello

    Please check this following thread

How to recover my .muse file?

  • In the browser of Muse CC edition there was a problem reading the manifest file Adobe Muse CC for the site - how to fix this?

I just uploaded the site via the built in ftp upload in muse he then uploaded successfully. When I go in the edition of the browser and enter the name of the site (mernaliddawi.com) it says then this "there was a problem reading the file of Adobe Muse CC manifest for the site. Since Adobe Muse CC use file > load on the FTP host... to export the new site. ' I then exported the site again, but it still does not work also, I went my hosting provider file manager and deleted the file muse_mainfest.xml and then re uploaded still no chance. " How can I fix this thank you, james.

You need to transfer your domain to your new site. At present, the URL http://mernaliddawi.com/ is a web page that encapsulates the http://mernaliddawicom.ipage.com/ in a frameset. This isn't how a domain is successfully transferred. He doesn't bother with editing in the browser, will prevent redirection to versions Tablet and phone of your site (if you create), and can cause other problems.

If you enter mernaliddawicom.ipage.com to inbrowserediting.adobe.com it will not work, because this is the URL where your site is currently hosted.

You can use their IDs of BC and use them, which to publish the site will be under their account.

Please change the login of BC's Edit > preferences > Publish > switch accounts, for Mac, there Adobe Muse > preferences

Thus, the URL Sitemap of your site is: http://pixelmania.com.au/sitemap.xml and it will continue to be only. And as I mentioned earlier, this is the link that you can use when sending to the Webmasters. However, the plan of the site that this link is currently displayed is incorrect. So, I am offering measures to regeneate the good the site map for your site.

    1. go to this URL and connection: http://pixelmania.com.au/AdminConsole/Account/Login#! /Utilities/SEO.aspx

Note that this page is not accessible directly from the administration console, and it's the only way to access it from the V3 administration console, so you can keep this useful link.

    2. once there, use the option that says 'Disable Sitemap'. Once disabled, check with the site map link that it is disabled and you no longer see a sitemap when access you the link.

    3. after the confirmation of this, activate the sitemap again of the same section of your administrative console and then wait for 24 to 36 hours, after which, when you click on the site map link, it will show you the new, correct sitemap.

    4. Once you see the new site map, proceed to upload on webmasters.

    I hope this helps.

    See you soon

  • Delete FTP of the file of Muse identifiers

    Hello

I built a website using Muse. For download on my ftp server I use the function of integrated download of Muse. All is well until now.

Now I want to give my Muse file to a guy, he could do a job for me about it. But I don't want to give him access to my password and all other ftp details. Define a new ftp password is not an option. How I can simply remove/delete no matter what FTP-Login-details of my *.muse file?

    Sincerely yours.

    Harald

If you open your file on a different computer than the .muse, it was created, the credentials are deleted automatically.

It is, says Williamson of Zak (Adobe): "the way it is supposed to work is that the FTP credentials are specific to a given file machine + site + Adobe ID." If a .muse file is moved to another machine, FTP credentials are not available. If a file different .muse is opened or created, the FTP credentials will be empty. If a different Adobe ID is used to connect to Muse, the FTP credentials will be empty. »

  • Impossible to delete cookies for individual Web sites

    Turn Firefox 29 8.1 on windows 64-bit.

This arose because a particular Web site difficulties to set a cookie (I think) - FF gave the error that the site Web server was redirect the request in a way that could not be completed-, but with a warning that it could be caused by cookies are not allowed. So I tried to delete the cookie for this particular website, but FF seems not to comply. It is removed from the list of cookies in the dialog box and I can close the dialog box, but if I reopen it the cookie it shows always also present. Make a second time does not help.

I then found that this applies only to apply to a particular Web site, it is a Web site that stores a cookie. Cookies are set to be deleted when they expire that I find useful for some site store cookies (I can't find a white list that allows cookies deleted except those on the whitelist, this as opposed to the blacklist that prevent some websites from setting cookies at all).

    I tried the following:
    (1) open FF in safe mode, but I get the same result (cookie not deleted)
    (2) with closed FF rename cookies.sqlite to the road. Then begins with a 'clean' cookie file, I always get the same result (cookie is not deleted).
I can confirm that the cookie is not removed by quickly opening the cookies.sqlite and by searching for the string of the Web site.

I tried to adjust FF cookie 'political' to remove all at the end of the session and that works - but it eliminates also the most useful as well. Someone at - it ideas?

Note that your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time you start Firefox.

The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.
You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: open with) If you do not create this file yourself.

The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
