Accidentally a hidden game

Hi, I accidentally hid Purble Place. How do get it back.

Thank you.

Quote your version of Windows

What do you mean by 'hidden' it?  Do you mean you deleted the shortcut on the desktop?  Do you mean that you have removed the stortcut from the start menu?  Do you mean that you have uninstalled the game?  What?

  • I accidentally deleted the games in Games Explorer

Somehow, I accidentally deleted the default windows vista games. The icons are still there and windows for games services are all on but they are not in the computer more. The file they were in saved games is now empty. Those I want to come back is the titans of chess, solitaire, freecell and spider solitaire. If anyone knows how or where I can download them or how I can get it back it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Hello Khemrajjairam, try to go to start-> Control Panel-> programs-> Windows features turn on or off.  In the window that opens you can double-check the games and which should reinstall them. • Qosmio X 300 - 14V - accidents while playing games

Hello! I have some problems with my Toshiba Qosmio X 300 to 14V. While I play games installed on the computer "crushes". The screen goes black and the speakers start droning.
I noticed that if I reinstall windows, driverers and directX it won't happen for a while. I should also mention that this does not happen with ALL games. He especially happenst to games that require more performance of the computer. games like Just Cause 2, Neef For Speed Hot Pursuit, Fallout New Vegas. In one case, he joined a pretty old game, shadows on the surviving ground.

If anyone can find all reasonable explanation please help me. Thanks in advance.

P.S. There are about 4-5 months my HARD drive crashed, so I bought a new one and installed win 7. At that time, I was working with win Vista Edition home premium x 32 with drivers that were included in the recovery package. Before the new HARD drive, I had no problem with the computer. Apart from some overwhelming sometimes because of ovearheating because the ventilation channels were filled with dust.

    Hi donrumata_1,

Maybe the laptop goes down cause overheating? Have you ever tried to clean up your laptop with a jet of compressed air?

This can blow the dust from the cooling fans and only takes a few minutes. In addition it s not necessary to disassemble the laptop so it s very easy and not complicated.

From my own experience I can say s very useful and I do every 3 months. If the laptop is much cooler and quieter because the fan doesn't run so often more.

  • Strong occasional roar of the hidden object games.

    HP Pavilion p6310f

    Windows 7

For several months my computer has been sometimes emitting a hum loud noise (like a plane, limit the taken off!) while playing the game of objects hidden games. The newest game it took place is dark features: the sins of the father. The roar of noise only last about 5 seconds, 10 MAX I tried the source, but could not. Only happens when you play these games, but not always. Have checked with HWmonitor and time, temperatures are OK. Also, run Diagnostics of HP hardware that has not found any problems. What can be? I guess THAT fan?

Cpu fan has changed, much better.

  • Deleted my games

Hi, I accidentally deleted my games that come with my laptop. Solitare and others. I am wanting to get them back, but don't know how, I hope someone can help. im not smart on these pc and need help thank you

It's simple. Go to programs and features, then Windows enable or disable features and check the first box that says "games".

  • Corrupt the game folder

    My PC:
    Win 7 ultimate N 64-bit
    Intel i7-860
    8g RAM
    1 TB HARD DRIVE

    My problem:
When I try to manually add a link to the game folder by dragging the .exe file or a shortcut to the folder nothing happens.

Initially I had AOE III, Fallout 3 and other games installed. They worked perfectly and has appeared in the "Games" folder in the start menu.

I went to open today and the AOE III and Fallout 3 had disappeared from the folder 'games '. All other games are always present and working.

Currently, I can always hide and restore the hidden games. Microsft update can add files in the game folder. He did so today by installing an update for windows live games after that this problem occurred.

I noticed that in "start > all programs > games" pointers to the Games folder all files appear with their targets, with the exception of AOE III and Fallout 3 "» When I click with the right button on their respective folders and go to properties there is an empty space for target. That's because their goals do not exist in the folder of the game, and there is no shortcut.

The games in question are still installed and work properly otherwise.

I think that this problem is related to a corruption with the game folder.
Rights at least pointers to the files .exe for the game, possibly in writing for the program which prevent the user additions.

Ive tried to find the solution but I've hit a wall.

    Hi Elian152,

You can run 2 methods to check whether the problem is resolved.

    Method 1: System Restore

Check if the games are listed in the Games folder, after the restoration of the system

Follow the steps in the link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore

    Method 2:

Create a new user account and check if it helps.

    To create a user account

    1. to open user accounts, click the Start button, select Control Panel, click user accounts and parental control, and then click user accounts.

    2. click on manage another account.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    1. click on create a new account.

2 type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

For more details follow the link.

    Create a user account
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/create-a-user-account

If the problem is resolved after you have created a new user account, you can fix the damaged user account.

Follow the steps in the link to fix the damaged user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/Windows7/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile
