  I have an object in the timeline that is hidden (X in the column of the eye). When I preview the slide, the hidden object is visible. Is there a way to get an overview without seeing the hidden objects?

  Hi Jay

  It is a normal behavior. When you hide things in the timeline panel, you are only hiding YOUR view as an author of Captivate. This allows you to get in the way temporarily while you work on other objects.

  For example, you have maybe five legends that appear all in the same location, but at different times. So, you want to hide all but one you are interested in when editing.

  It seems, based on what you posted that you expect the feature also hide the object during playback. That won't happen in general. However, if you really don't want to hide it during playback, and you have Captivate 4, they have added a new feature to the properties. It is located under the Options tab and is labelled "Visible."

• I can't scroll screen in hidden object games

  I bought a small laptop and I can't scroll vertically all playing hidden object games most of them rendered unplayable. Usually the screen would scroll upwards or downwards when I moved the cursor to the top or the bottom of the screen, but with this laptop (Samsung N110), the screen stays fixed.

  Using Windows Live Mail.  My incoming screen is empty.  There is a message stating: "some items can be hidden because a view is applied.  How can I check to see if there are objects hidden and, if so, what they are?

  It depends on what version of the program that you use, but the key word is seen. In all versions, there are display orders; in 2009, WLMail, they are in the menu display . WLMail 2011, they tape everything what they own. In all versions, press Alt + V to display the available commands. Search, display or hide the options (to hide messages you have already read, for example) or a filter (for filtering messages read, for example).

  Windows Live Mail has its own support at the Windows Live Solution Centerforums. Please address any other question you may have on one of the forums on the right side of this page. You are probably asked to give your version of WLMail and Windows so that the answer may be more accurate.

  • In WLMail to find your version of the software, a press on ALT - H. If it doesn't show you the version and the build number, press on escape to two times, and then Alt - F B.
  • To find your version of Windows, type winver in the start search box and press enter.

• Multi-Clic Interaction with the hidden objects

  Trying to create a multiple interaction of click through which a firm component when another one opens. Best way I can describe would be similar to the following. If you had a map of the globe, and wanted to put a caption on each through which the user can click on each country and the name of this nation would appear. Then, when they clicked on another country - the first legend would disappear and would show the new legend.

  I know how to make the initial one show - which is no problem. Essentially, I have the a button transparent on the United States and labeled the button as btn_US and tagged legend as States text_united and make sure that I have the text off to the initial view. I have my button 'show' text_US. My problem is to get the others disappear. Rollovers do not work because I'm wanting to click and I believe there is more control to the user. Also, if I were to use a form - it is easier for me to the contours of those countries than to the standard square in outline Inbox button.

  Gameplay and loading problems are often times caused by the settings of the browser or the problems.  Following these steps may help resolve the problem:
  (1) make sure that your browser is up to date or try another browser (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox are the most compatible).
  (2) make sure your Flash is updated (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/).
  (3) clear the cache of your browser (http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html).
  (4) clear your cache Flash (http://www.simplehelp.net/2010/09/16/how-to-delete-your-flash-cache/). If you use Chrome, this can be done by ensuring that the ' delete cookies and other site and plugin data "is selected when you clear the cache of your browser.
  (5) restart your browser.
  (6) make sure that you have access to the game using a Facebook link and not a bookmark.
  If you have any problems, follow these steps, or if these steps do not work for you, you can contact directly the developers of Facebook games by clicking on the link "report or contact this app" at the bottom of the game screen.

• Race on the 3D object

  It was strange. I'm fiddling around with a clipping mask on an object that is extruded in relation to answering the question of inquestflash on a clipping mask that disappears.

  

  On the left is the hidden object. Then I 'accidentally' hit Cmd + Option + shift + 7.

  And behold, the 3D object suddenly had a stroke on the edges of the veneer.

  Apparently, Cmd + Option + shift + 7 means add a new line.

  If I discovered a new shortcut or has it always been like this? In any case, it's a new me :-)

  You can also do this work on the Group (cutting) - only.

  But only if in the appearance Panel, the 3D effect is applied on top of the stack, above the fill and 'content' and the time after that. The 3D effect applied normally, is at the bottom of the stack. You must have moved it somehow.

  You do not need to apply via the shortcut, it works without him as well.

  Hello. I just did a scan of software on the hp site and it recommended related diagnostic software and I installed it.

  But when I try to do a software scan and the pilot of "search for the updates and recommendations" on the website of HP support for my laptop model, I always have this:

  I'm sure that my laptop is up-to-date with software and drivers because my HP support assistant software can't find nothing available, but I'm just curious as to why I get this error on the hp site.

  Another thing.  Very rarely, it looks like one of the fans (or is the hard drive?) in the laptop will be rev suddenley plus enough fort. If I stop the laptop turned off and on again, the fan noise is back to normal - nice and very quiet. Even just quickly put the laptop to sleep and wake it will fan (if that's what it is) back to normal. This loud fan noise maybe happens once every 2 weeks if I average.

  Initially, I thought that this problem of fan noise may be caused or related to a game (asphalt 8) that seems to cause fans to redouble efforts in general (but this casual loud fan noise I'm talking is much stronger than that) when the game is played and the problem seems to occur more frequently with installed. However, I uninstalled it for a few days (although I don't know if I did a reboot after that I uninstalled it) and it arrived this morning after starting with past nothing. I suppose it could still be linked to the game, but I'm not sure. I restarted the laptop and now it is fine.

  As I said that the problem occurs very rarely and most of the time my laptop is very quiet, but still I would like to understand/fix the issue if I could. It of one of the reasons why I was trying just a software/driver scan to see if something is recommended on the site but when I do this pilot analysis I get this error and have always.

• HP Pavilion 15: Noise of the fan during games

  Hello world!

  I recently bought the HP Pavilion 15. All-in-all, it's good. But when I play certain video games, I hear the noise of the cooler fan. The noise is loud and a little bit of crackling. Some games cause stronger noise (progression of Tomb Raider, hand of fate), other (The Witcher III) - not so loud. The less demanding games produce almost no additional noise.

  At first, I thought it might be connected to the audiosystem, but when I use headphones noise crackling under the remains of the screen and the sound in the headphones is good.

  This problem does not prevent the game experience - games work without problem, but I don't know if it's a sign of some videoadapter damaged or simply bad. Or are all generally noisier than other pavilions portable?

  What can be the problem? What should I do?

  I found the solution on my own!

  I had BIOS version F0.5 and improved through this site up to F0.9. And the sounds of crackling disappeared! Everything works!

  So, if you have similar problems, just find the update for your BIOS. It is also a good opportunity to check if your drivers are up to date!

• radio to show the hidden subform

  I spent hours trying to figure out how to show the 'Hidden' subforms to appear with radio buttons. I read everything on the first two pages of google, that all say the same thing to use:

  The code in your original question seems ok for me.  The code of the image doesn't work because there is no text under the subform object to hide.

  You get errors/exceptions when you preview?

  I am using Captivate 8 and I have a number of hidden objects on a slide that are grouped together (they are indicated by a peak action). Even if they are hidden, I can always click on them and a blue bar selection will appear around the edges. Has anyone else had this problem before?

  I use JDeveloper with version 11.1.1.6.3. Given my requirment details below.

  Suppose I have a (say 'EMPLOYEE_RATING') table in DB with the following structure.

  Columns:

  1 EmployeeId (Employee Id)

  2 RatingType (values can be in Stock or Bonus)

  3 RatingLevel (values can be 1, 2, and 3)

  Constraint:

  EmployeeId, RatingType and RatingLevel all together must be unique.

  Requirement:

  The customer's requirement is to have two screens of rating (one for Bonus another stock) and display different user interface boards and validations as follows.

  1 RatingType is a hidden field, are defined with the default (Bonus or Stock) based on the screen that the user opens.

  1. for the Stock screen, RatingLevel label should be "Stock note.

  2. for the Bonus screen, the label should be 'Bonus Rating'.

  3. for validation, the message must be 'Bonus note level must be unique' or 'Level of Stock of notes must be unique' ADB on the user screen opens.

  Implementation:

  I have a def EO (for example "RatingEO") and VO (for example ' RatingVO') def. Tips UI (Label) are given at the level of the OS. Also the unique constraint validation is made to EO with the message ' {0} and {1} must be unique, where {0} is source.hints.EmployeeId.label "and {1} is source.hints.RatingLevel.label.  I also did the shuttle two different instances of the VO (EmployeeRatingBonusVO and EmployeeRatingStockVO) in the request form (although BonusTaskFlow and StockTaskFlow are set to open with the new transaction, Intension of the two shuttle different named instances is to have the common code in VO. impl class but can run different business logic code by checking the name of the instance of VO)

  Since I have two different pages, I can define two different labels in the jsff, but I can't change the commit message defined at the level of object entity based on open display. At the opening of the screen, depending on the type of screen, I should be able to change the label specified at the level of the entity object. (It should not affect the definition but only the instance). As this entity object cannot be distinguished (if it belongs to Bonus or Stock), I have problem on how to change the indicators of UI during execution.

  I tried your script.

  I created the secondary key with EmployId and rating level. I added validation of Unique key. In failure handling handling section of the validator, I gave the error message like: {0} must be unique. For token 0: I gave RatingType (here RatingType is the name of the attribute in OT).

  We give the default for RatingType as Stock Bonus in VO. kind RatingType get its value or Stock Bonus based on the original Version that we use.

• Photoshop CC Auto-possibilite select the hidden layers

  Hi, I am not sure if this is a bug or what... When I click on and drag with the move of the automatic selection of the multiple layers tool, it will not select only the layers that I wanted, but also layers hidden in the same area of my selection (or at least, layers, which are in the hidden groups).

  For example, say I have a layer group. I duplicate the group, and then make the original group invisible so that I can create an alternative version. When I clock and drag to select the objects in the new group, the (hidden) in the former group objects get selected as well, so I'm obliged to selection click on every article I want to change... forever.

  This is different from all previous versions of PS and a big trouble.

  If someone else can confirm this bug, or is it just me? Or not consider you this as a bug? I see some specific cases where it can be useful, but I would like to control this behavior as a preferece. Maybe there is already a preference for this problem and I just have not found. Any comments would be more useful

  I am trying to create a script that will open the attachments embedded in a pdf document.

  I used the following javascript code to list all the files into a document so that I can retrieve the name

  When you open a PDF attachment with this method, it opened as hidden, and the hidden property is read-only if it is not editable after its opening. To display it so that it is not hidden, use the app.openDoc method. Use what you have to understand the type of path you specify. As test, try this in the console:

  var oDoc = openDataObject("MTP-300-X-1210_A.pdf");

  Console.println (odoc. (Path);

  oDoc.closeDoc ();

  It should show something like:

  |/C/Folder1/Folder2/parentPDF.PDF| U:MTP - 300-X - 1210_A.pdf

  This is the way that you use the app.openDoc method to open the PDF attachment so that it is not hidden the opening.
