Accidentally deleted my Windows XP program ALONE.
It said to insert the Windows XP CD that came with the purchase, but I can't find that. My husband is not going to be happy!
Hey PuzzledAnn,
You will need Windows XP CD in accordance with this article: How to add or remove games in Windows XP to reinstall the rematch. See if you can get a CD your friend or another source.
Otherwise you can go for all the third party solitaire card games available online. Use your favorite search engine and browse to one of these options.
Note: Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be resolved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
Kind regards

I accidentally deleted the directory "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft ' my 64 bit Windows Vista system. How can I get it back?
original title: C:\Program Files (x 86) \MicrosoftYou can try this program:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/
Use the deep Scan option. It may take some time.
The System File Checker can repair some of the files in there, but probably not all.
It's probably at least some of the files that have been overwritten. so I would say the the more safe thing to do is to reinstall Windows.

Accidentally deleted the windows credentials
Hello
I accidentally deleted my account under windows with all its letters of nobility. Now I can't access the Internet on my pc. I can open my email but not other Web sites. It displays the 400 error message or say ssl not found. I ve not done no backup of credentials. I'm worried how can I pick up my credentials? Help, please
Hi Renon,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
(a) you have any admin account in the system?
(b) the question has started happening recently?
(c) when exactly you get 400 error?
If you delete the administrator account, you lose Admin privileges on your system. If you have another admin account, you can transfer the data to this account and make that your main account. To share your files and folders to other account, see the following article:
If, however, your problem has occurred recently and that you didn't do any significant changes to the system, you can try to restore your system to an image created before when the problem occurred. To run the system restore, refer to the following steps:
To restore your PC to an earlier point in time
Enter in the right edge of the screen and then click on Search.
(If you use a mouse, point to the upper right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then click find.)Enter the Control Panel in the start search box and press or click on Control Panel.
Enter the collection in the control panel search box, and then tap or click recovery.
Press or click open system restore, and then follow the instructions.
Note: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.

Accidentally deleted on Windows 8 XPS printer
I accidentally deleted the XPS document writer in Windows 8. None of the solutions I found so far will run on Windows 8. I know that if you delete something it is never really "gone"? I bought this PC with Win 8 is already installed. I need the author of the document for Win8 because it works with QuickBooks. Without it, I can't create the PDF file of the Bills, nor can I send e-mail from the software. Help!
Carlos was a good idea-do a system restore to before that you have removed.
If this does not work, you can change the driver:
Right-click on the writer in devices and printers, and select printer properties. If there is a button on the bottom that says "Edit properties" click it.
Click the Advanced tab, click the arrow next to the driver and select the writer without the "v4" behind it.
If that author is not available here, click on 'new Driver... ", and then click Next, then scroll again Microsoft and choose an other writer versions.I hope that Quick Books will recognize one of them.

Accidentally deleted C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP
using antivirus software to remove the malware file c:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP has been removed. What is a key file? If so, can I get it back? I have windows vista. a system files will get the file back, and if so the malware will still be in it?
Hello Zimmied,
The Memory.DMP file is used for the purpose of debugging. It is created when you have a failure of the system. If your system crashes again, it can be used as a tool to analyze what the problem was.
If you want the file back and if you have Vista Ultimate, you can navigate to the Windows folder, right-click and use the option restore a previous Version.

I accidentally deleted the Windows fax program in Windows 7.
It is not in the trash and I don't have the original Win7 disc to reinstall.
Any suggestions?
Where did you delete it go?
Try going to the control panel and selecting programs and features.
Then select Turn Windows features On or OFF.
Expand Print and document Services.
If Windows Fax and Scan is checked, uncheck it, select OK and restart your computer.
Then repeat the above steps but put a checkmark in Windows Fax and Scan and again select OK and restart your computer.

Accidentally deleted Microsoft Office programs
I am a stupid and accidentally deleted all of my Windows Office programs (Word, Excel). I can not find them anywhere I have the Vista instalation disc but it says error code 0 x 80070020 and cancels. I tried looking for answers but am at a loss... someone can help me please?
Please provide details, did you accidentally delete the icons of "Programs of Office" or did you actually uninstall programs from Add/Remove programs.
To reinstall Office programs, you must use the office installation media not the Vista installation disc.
If you just remove the icons (shortcuts) for the programs, you can easily restore them.
Please confirm that you actually did.
