  You have corruption of dbx files.
   
  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.
   
  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
   
  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer.   With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.
   
  Compact all folders as described below.
   
  To avoid this in the future:
   
  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.
   
  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. • Deleted manually linked clone VM, recreated but composer skipped numbers

  I did a rebalancing huge after the addition of new data warehouses and everything is fine... until the last few VM, it appears the account display uses to communicate with the database of the composer and vCenter Server has been locked (another story) so several virtual machines have been rebalanced partially who they are inactive and could not remove them via the display connection Server Admin console.

  I removed the ADAM ADSI Edit Database virtual machine and removed the remains of the database of the composer (manual method).  I removed the virtual of Active Directory machine and vcenter Server using the vSphere Client and navigating data warehouses when necessary.

  When I re-activated the available pool, all virtual machines have been recreated, but a VM number has been omitted.  The pool is Win7VM 60 but VM7 is not re-created, it made a VM61 to reach the minimum of 60.

  How can I force VM7 do?  We are required to list all computer names in a security profile and a gap in the numbering will be a pain in the thigh.  Not to mention my OCD will make me crazy!

  I posted a reply until I had carefully read your entire post. I think that the key is the part where you say that "delete you VM from Active Directory and vcenter Server using the vSphere Client and navigating data warehouses when necessary." While ADAM and composer databases had no remains of virtual machines has left in them, it is possible that there are always some piece of VM7 left in the database of vCenter which is originally composer to consider as already here. I'm not DBA SQL, so I'm not going to pretend to give instructions on how to fix this, but if you have someone with the right knowledge and skills (or if you are such a person) you will be able to flush out the offending record and return VM7 again. It's a place to start anyway. I hope this helps.

  Very strange, usually if there is no "Basket" file, when you restart Thunderbird, it should create a new.

  Try this:
  Open your profile folder.
  Close Thunderbird.

  In "Mail" / "pop.ziggo.nl " - where do you see your files as files.
  Right-click in the empty space and select 'New' > 'text Document '.
  A file called 'New document texte.txt', a 'text Document' will appear.
  Rename this "basket", with a capital T and without extension.
  It will tell if you change a filename extension, the file may become unusable, are you sure you want to change it? Click Yes.

  Close the window and restart Thunderbird.

  Now, try to delete an e-mail message.

  1. that depends on what you mean by "import."

  If the account uses the IMAP protocol, Thunderbird will show you what is on the server. There is no need to "import" anything.

  POP is quite different. It will default to move all messages from the server down to Thunderbird and then delete them from the server. If you don't want to do it, start Thunderbird in offline mode and configure "Leave a copy of messages on the server" in the settings of the account in Thunderbird.

  2. I don't know with certainty how the/unread status is managed, but some experiences here show that Thunderbird keeps synched with the playback on the server status. I'm waiting your messages read to appear as "read", like a message 'read' on the server is reflected as "read" also in Thunderbird.

  Around 800 deleted messages came in my Inbox. I removed them again and emptied the box remove and compacted. They all come back whenever I go to the Inbox. Also all the subfolders in my Inbox disappeared.

  There is a box that appears almost every day asking me to compact all folders and click to do. I didn't know what that meant until today. It doesn't seem to change anything. Today, I also went to compact waste. Since posting my request the problem with deletions reappear ceased, thankfully.

  My other problem with files disappearing is not resolved, they seem to have disappeared for good. I did a couple of times file Repair as you suggested but no change.

  I can manually delete messages, but this is a time-consuming operation.

  I can empty the deleted items folder, but I did not have this option in the Inbox or sent items folders.

  When the Inbox is open, highlight an email.

  Then just click on the "Edit" menu at the top, then choose 'select all' which will highlight all the contents of this folder.

  After return to the Edit menu, then choose 'delete' and all these emails will be deleted.

  If you do not want to delete all the emails, but to delete e-mails in mass.

  You can also simply click on an email, then hold down the 'CTRL' on the keyboard and continue by clicking as many messages as you want (they are all selected) then right click and choose 'Remove' and all seslected emails that you clicked will be deleted altogether.

Oflet carrying all my personal photos deleting user account files, I don't then tryzing sytem restore to last week, that has worked well but still my photos of account information I mean were not recovered.   Do not worry. It is not deleted. While in the Inbox: view the current view. You want to uncheck: Hide the Read Messages and show all Messages must be the only option checked. Bruce Hagen
