Hello

We have a simple form - header, body and footer.

1. the excesses of the body based on the number of entries on a particular node to extract the file (XML)

2. the body is built so that it can overflow 10 times on a page (physical)

3. the footer has a 'count' field, which is expected to show the number of entries of the body on this page

For example.

a. in the XML document, there are 12 nodes - so the body goes beyond 10 times on page 1 and 2 times on the Page-2.

b. the count on the foot of page, page-1 should display 10 and the page on-2, the meter should display 2

Approaches.

We are working on two approaches.

Approach-1

a. to declare a counter variable and put to ZERO header on

b. increment this field on the body (PreImageDAL)

c. set the 'Count' (field of the footer Section) to the declared counter variable.

Question--> The Count on the footer displays the total (on all pages) instead of break up of page, by example (from the example above) - 12. I expect the counter to ZERO value Variable whenever the header is overflowing!

Approach - 2

a. create two categories: one with the County as 10 harded and the other with a field

(b) on the last Page the rest on this counter field

-> Triggering these two sections in an appropriate manner is an issue.

I tend to approach-1. Appreciate the contributions on this approach or any other suggestion.

Your script ends with the total number in the first footer is because all sections trigger on the initial page and are mapped before product paging that move overflowing sections for the following pages. So, you are in fact ALL sections on page 1.

There are several ways that your goal could be achieved, but a thing, you must make sure, is that you have not configured your footer field a sample form or Global. You want the scope to article so that each instance of the can have a unique value.

1. depending on your version (which is always useful to include when you post a question), you may be able to make a record of your second approach. Starts somewhere around version 11.5, affecting a section copy on overflow - you probably have your footer - poster now additional print control options include the ability to view or delete the section depending on whether the last page or not the last page. You could simply have two feet as you suggest. Or you can set 3 footers. Primary - "complete" - which has the largest part of the content and then two small which are placed on the top of the foot of normal page to show this count. Using the print command, then only one or the other small sections will appear. Of course, you don't have to calculate your value of field rest for the 'last page' section, but that could be done with a field rule or a normal image using a DAL script. Others are simply hard-coded to show 10, if that is your wish.

2 another method would be to use a PostTransDAL in the AFGJOB, placed 'above' of the PaginateAndPropagate rule. Quick is a post transaction rule as well as you probably already down your transaction rules. By placing the PostTransDAL just above this rule, you specify that you want the rule to run after the pagination occurred. When you do that, you'll have pages as overflow has occurred.  If you have the total number in a GVM or get him again with a rule of DAL CountRec, you can easily calculate how many pages you think you should have. Then the DAL can be used to assign the value appropriate footers. Something like this might work:

In this case, I started the script check if the form has been included. No reason to go to work, if she's not here, right?

Next, I get the number of detail lines. If you had this value in a GVM or something, you could do a different call to pick up your value everywhere.

Then do the math to determine the number of pages, that you will, followed by calculating the remainder (Modulo).

If the remainder is zero, i.e. There are an even number of elements and calculations should be adjusted. You did not need the + 1 on the number of pages and you need start your number of 10 retail.

The rest of the logic will loop through occurrences of the footer on the last to first and assign it the value in your field. Reset you the count of 10 after the first retail, because all pages except the last will be 10 - by your definition.

3. There is another way you can accomplish this, but once again it depends on your version. There is a feature called Print-time fields that use a naming convention to call a DAL script that can return a value for the field. If you were to use this scenario, each of these fields in footer must calculate on request at the point when printing is in progress.  This is similar to how the page numbering fields work, except that you call a script to return the value when printing. I will not go into this example that either of the above will probably be sufficient for your needs.

    How to check the support forum without logging into an account? The answer, apparently, is that I don't have. It is not possible to click on my way in there if I am not logged in. I can search for specific threads, but I'll never know what search might have missed.

    Epicaleb, of course, the link works; the page is public. My point is that there is no link in the first place until you create an account. The link you posted doesn't account not because unregistered users cannot get on it without first looking for him.

    That said: one thing I don't see much in this forum of support, unlike many other such places, is third 'spamming' existing threads with partners-but-different support requests. This is what she has access to this information because it is cited as the owner of the account?

    If the phone is on his account, then she has access, through a detailed of each phone call, incoming and outgoing accounting Verizon, and all SMS and MMS sent and received messages. She is footing the Bill, therefore, is entitled to the information. Looks like you need to get your phone, your own account and a new girlfriend.

    Hi, how can I stop my Hotmail account sending unwanted emails? I never gave my email address or password to anyone, and I'm very selective on where I use it. Normally, this seems to happen as I'm about to go on vacation.

    Basically, he sent an e-mail with a URL in there. In the foot, he has a legitimate 'get a free e-mail account. Sign up for Hotmail"and the body was just another random URL each time consisting of random letters / numbers.

    It then periodically sends these emails to random contacts that some have clicked it and similar things are happening.

    Oh, wow, you are mixing elements of strange available here, nested tables

    tags using fixed positioning.

    Move the footer of the table to start div.

    That will allow you to position it correctly. Keep in mind, width: 100% means "100% of the parent element. If you want the footer to 100% of the browser window, you need to move apart from anything else with a pixel width setting.

    I think that you will probably get to where you want to be with this element in particular.

  • Any suggestions for a problem of footer "fixed"?

    I was wondering if anyone here has had problems with 'fixed' footers - especially when content (such as text) in the (main) div over spills outside the defined constraints - hide the content that does not match the div? In this case, however, that when I download and view the pages involved in the direct environment, not on the spot! Locally, it is fine.

    At the start, I thought that the issue could be the model that I set up for my Web pages that maybe somehow caused a problem when the pages went screws, but to be sure, I downloaded a detached page of the model and he always had the same problem, so it is not model.

    It is important to mention that the content gets hidden behind the footer fixed only when it spills outside the div (which is the div at the bottom of the page, just above the footer). I know that a seemingly simple solution would be to expand the container div as far down as necessary to adapt the content, however, the amount of content can vary greatly from one page to the next and if we go back several pages with very little content (inside a very long div) let scroll us a lot of white space below in arriving at the end which wouldn't look very good! This is why I chose a small div size down to fit an average amount of content and have much larger amount of content simply overflow.

    Something simple, I used it so far to stop the fixed footer obscuring the spill on the content is to put the necessary number of line breaks (< br / >) just after the content so that it creates saw her resting space above the footer. However, on our site, we have a lot of pages and have to do this for every page that we create is very heavy. Moreover, I think that there must be a simpler and more logical solution that can be applied only once for the model and bingo.

    As I said before, I came very close to solving this - this was done in the local environment. - but, as soon as it becomes the problem is back. Basically, what I did is to put in place a 'padding-bottom' in the CSS attribute, give him a pixel value equivalent at the height of the footer and a bit more on the top to make sure that there is little white to the rest of the space between the bottom of the content and the footer page and apply this attribute to the div padding just above the footer. Was looking good until he went live...

    I hope that now that I have provided enough background, is there anything else anyone can think or maybe knows, having encountered a similar problem, that they can suggest?

    Right.  This is why you should not use explicit height values on the containers.  Web pages must be flexible to take account of the long and short pages.  When required to reveal a background image, for example, use the min-height property.

    From a point of view in a generic way, a fixed footer will always be exactly where you put it (botom:xx; left: xx) or at the bottom of the window of the browser as in this example:

  • Auto date in footer SSI

    I have a footer on my web site which is a SSI. I want the date in the footer on each page to account for this last revision date of the page (not the date of revision of the footer include). When I update a page, I want the page to change date. Is it possible to achieve this using coding included as a SSI? Or, I need to move this coding outside the ISS? If so, do you have any suggestions of how to design/format in my layout?

    The way I did in the past is to use ASP scripting server side to get the date of the file on the page. I'm sure you can do the same with any side server, scripting language.

    Greetings.

    I have the rtf model in a group by.

    The resulting report is a PDF file which has pages 3 and 4 for each ACCOUNT_NUMBER. The entire document is long about 40 pages.

    Now,.

    I want to add the header and footer of my document.

    (1) in the header, I want to add some fields like ACCOUNT_NUMBER, MONTH, YEAR (all the fields of the model that are different for each group). How can I do?
    I tried to put it just in a header, but what I get is all account_numbers on each page, or the first account number to each page.

    * The bonus would be that these fields are shoeing only on pages that are not the first to this account number. (Example 2/3, 3/3, 2/4,...)

    (2) I want to add the number of pages (in a style 1/3) in a page footer. I tried to incorporate it into a footer in word, but I get 1/40, 2/40, 3/40, 4/40, and I want to get 1/3,2/3,
    3/3, 1/4. I want to reset for each group.

    Sorry User8090067. I did not read the messages earlier completely.

    Just do the layout as mentioned Mahi (in your case (you don't want anything to come up on the first page) you can have a single page only, with your tags and Page layout). Your OWNER tag will not be printed on the first page of each section.

    You can still keep tags means that you must not put the header/footer in the respective sections in RTF.
    If you want to than your head to go in the header section of the RTF, put directly the tag it (as the form fields are not allowed and that you found yourself).
