• How can I get the indicator private Window to display?

  When you select new private window I don't see the indicator with the purple icon on the upper side right of the window. I have Firefox at work and when I open a new private window, it displays a purple icon on top of my new window, at home I do not see that.

• How to move toward the front of the indicator chart of selected waveform

  Hello. I would like to put a number of indicators on the front (that's about 20 small flags or mauby more).

  When the user select one of them, the indicator is resized to the entire façade. The problem is that a number of small indicators appears as one resized was beneath them. I've looked everywhere and since 2010 (some people had the same problem) no solution has been found. I think property node with passage to the Front option has been added to labview (sp1 actualy 2015) - the problem, it is since 2010 - but unfortunately I can not find. Is there a solution to my problem?

  You could have a tab with hidden tab page selector. Have your small graphics on the first page and a single large graphic on the second page. When the user selects a small graphic in the first page, you programmatically move to the second page and feed the data required in the great chart. In this way it will look like magnified the selected chart. You can have a button of the left arrow on the second tab page that directs the user to the first page...

  I have a program that is a stacked three-frame sequence. In every picture there are structures case, in which there are while loops. In the while loop, it reads off the coast of the temperature of a piece of equipment.

  Allowing you to feed the output of Get Temp.vi in the local variable.  You can use the indicator in place of one of the local variables, but it doesn't matter where, because the locals break dataflow.

  Is it possible to reset the terminal number on the PXI-6608 indicator? When I use Get Attribute.vi I have the time to correct value first, but unfortunately (unlike DAQmx) reading of the value is not reset it...

  Traditional DAQ doesn't have a way to reset the indicator terminal number, as far as I know. One thing you might be able to do is change the "output" in "toggle" mode and then read the "output status" to determine the reversals to determine when the State of the output has changed in your application.

• Current path of the VI is empty when connected to the indicator

  I'm building an ActiveX executable from another language (Visual Basic, C++, etc.).  So I need to create the object, the path of the vi.  I don't know why, but the planned path gives an error.  I wanted to check the way VI so I added an indicator to the current path of the VI.  The indicator is empty when I run the VI.  How can this be.

  VI was originally in LabVIEW 2009 and I have improved.  Some screws sub hepatitis was added from previous LabVIEWs (as far as version 6 if necessary).

  So much worse... It follows from several things.  One is that when you click on a vi through a project the application path is different if you opened to the top of the vi.  And the other thing was using the open vi reference and methods to initialize controls.  Is it possible to delete an ad?

• Add data from serial Port in the indicator series front panel?

  I'm new to LabVIEW but has prior programming experience.

  I have to develop a front for my camera and this is why I need LabVIEW, data comes from serial Port, so I started internet research / LabVIEW forums and found various tutorials by the help I am able to do the part Serial Communication, but has got stuck in one thing.

  Whenever data from serial Port, it gets displayed on the indicator chain but clears quickly, but I want some data comes it does not erase the old data and new data to add with the old data.

  I read the string concatenation will work in this case, but I am not able to use it.

• Cannot create a control or the indicator for a refnum of the display of images in LabView

  I need to move a refnum to a control to display the Image, but find that I can not create a control or an indicator for such refnum.  I can create the refnum without problem, and when I right click on the refnum I gives me the options to create a command or the indicator; However, when I select one of these options no command or the indicator is created.

  I am running XP.  I installed Vision 8.6 at a given time, but had to uninstall because it damaged this control.  I don't know if it affects this type of control to a lower level.

  You can probably do it the hard way by using workaround.  Convert your reference to a Variant or flatten it into a string or cataloged full - some LV allows.  In the Subvi, convert it back into a reference.

• Set the indicator value only once

  I'm relatively new to LabVIEW, so I was wondering if you could give me some advice as how to accomplish a task.

  I am trying to store the timestamp at which a signal caused a block "Trigger and gate" trigger. I joined my current attempt to do this. The idea is essentially to wait the trigger signal to go out and put the component 't0' of it within an indicator. The problem is that after I store the t0, the while the iteration is complete. For the next iteration, new data comes from. Because the trigger is already triggered the previous iteration (it has no trigger stop), this new data t0 will then write to the indicator. But this isn't what I want. Is it possible to write data only to an indicator if it does not contain a value already?

  My plan is to take the blocks from the trigger and active in the end (see the picture I have attached) and create a Subvi from it. The data source will be outside the Subvi, so I can connect different sources during the tests. It means (as far as I know), that the Subvi is unclear it is integrated inside a loop, so I won't be able to use the features of a loop (ie: shift registers) to solve my problem.

  Do you have any suggestions as to what I should try?

• Generates an event on the indicator

  I'm developing a program in which I need to generate an event on the indicator, the project is as we give 4 entries for LabVIEW vi equipment, since these 4 controls are through material I can't generate events on them, so I'm trying to generate an event on the indicators of these controls , but the structure of the event does not respond when I use the value on the display change event. After doing some research, I got to know that we can use the value property (Signaling) to generate events on the indicator, but I don't get how to use it.

  You create a value of signage as follows: click with the right button on the Boolean value and choose Create > property node > value (signaling)

• Disable selection of text on the indicator of the FP

  This is asked in the spirit of an attractive user interface. I have a text box that displays the different bits of data. This part works fine. What I would do, is make it impossible for the user to select the text in the box. A click of the mouse inside the box would behave like a mouse click on a free part of the window of the user interface.

  At this point, I turn around the Image of the 'Get' invoke the node with the intention to create an image of the indicator and then display instead. Is there an easier way?

  Just turn it off.  If you still want this way, then right-click on it and choose Advanced-> checked-> disabled state.  There is a similar property node if you want to do it programmatically.

  I have a Subvi used by the user to change some parameters used by the main vi. That is to say, click on settings button and the Subvi appears.

  Anyway, the Subvi reads a text file to load the previously saved settings.  It is, the text file must be put in order, or the indicator?  The user must be able to change the values in the Subvi Panel and then save again.  Looks like I can do this with the orders or the lights.

  Not quite. Indicators can only be changed by a user when the VI is running. So, in your case, you would like to use controls. When you read the file for the saved values you can simply update the values of the controls by using local variables or property nodes. Be careful about the conditions of race with local variables.

  The OR the page for the C 9203 module indicates an accuracy of 0.049 my over a range of 0-20 my.  (or approx. 800 mode mA-20 + 20). Is it a typing mistake or is this really not very accurate module?

  Manual doesn't mention all this precision, but evokes rather factors such as offset and noise of entry from Ridge to Ridge and "INL" on a scale of the LSB.

  The operating instructions that you have linked gives the specifications of accuracy in the tables on the value of pages 12-13 as a percent of playback (gain error) and one percent of the range (offset error). Using the values in the first table for unipolar range, you will see that the values calibrated for the device will be ±0.18% of reading and ± 0.06% of the range, with the range in 21.5 my. This corresponds to an accuracy of 0,0018 * 20mA + 0.0006 * 21, 5mA = 0.049mA in the worst cases. It lists the typical calibrated values in ±0.04 reading % and ±0. 02 percent in unipolar mode. By looking at the values max calibrated table for bipolar mode would produce a precision of 0.002 * 20mA + 0.0009 * 43mA = 0.079mA. Hope this helps,
