Acer Aspire v3 - 772 g installind a second HDD

Hello

I bought an SSD, put in diskbay0 and fresh installed win 8.1.

The old HDD is now in diskbay1, bios detects the two HARD drives, but victory 8.1 detects only the Diskbay 0 disk (ssd or hdd original).

So now:

-I'm stuck with win 8.1 installed on both my HARD drive,

-victory 8.1 detects ONLY the disk HARD of Diskbay0.

-The BIOS detects both.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

After the setting in the bios windows boot manager and boot from the ssd drive, I managed to format the original HARD drive (win8.1and the recovery partitions) then that's all is OK.
Initialization of the bios was running ant it took a few attempts to succeed.
See you soon.

  • Acer Aspire V3 772 G BIOS grayed out

    Hello
I have a laptop Acer Aspire V3 (model G 772-9643), Acer sent me the recovery disks for. The first two steps they registered on the included sheet was to insert the disc labeled "System drive", then reboot and press F12 to get into the boot menu.

When F12 has not worked for me, I went into the BIOS with F2 and discovered that F12 Boot has been disabled. I tried to go down with the arrow, but couldn't. All the options are greyed out, even on the other sections in the menu of the BIOS. Time and date system were virtually the only things not greyed out. Until I have enable F12 I can not change the order of boot on CD/DVD and cannot start the process of recovery with Acer discs, so I'm completely stuck now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's urgent because I really need this laptop for the school that has already started. The laptop is very expensive, it is important that I try to repair rather than buy a new one.

Thanks in advance for any help

If you already save and exit the BIOS, enter the BIOS again and check if the options are still grayed out.

  • Acer Aspire V3 - 772 Windows 8.1 clean install

So I've upgraded to windows 10... It worked fine and I decided to use eRecovery to return to windows 8 and then update to 8.1.

After System Restore, I discovered that windows has been corrupted. (Windows worked, but I can not install updates)

So I decided to just wipe and clean installed windows 8.1, only to find out that I can install it only by using the start mode of inheritance, using the UEFI is for me the error: Windows cannot update the configuration to start the computer, the installation cannot continue. (Already tried disabling secure boot, without success). Legacy mode worked well until I went to come to re - install the drivers, that's when I noticed that some hardware has not been detected, my gpu nVidia for example.

Any help is appreciated. (Please... I am so frustrated now.)

And Yes, I configured an another usb to fully support UEFI boot, without success.

After using "own diskpart" on your main hard drive... Press and hold the power button on your computer to shut down your computer.  Wait about 20 seconds.  Then turn on again.  Install windows as directed in step 8.

I have V3 - 772-G laptop computer with linux on it. My question is: how to upgrade the bios to version 1.15? Can I use something like Hiren's BootCD with windows XP of the Mini?

  • Laptop Acer Aspire V3 - 772 G-9653 flicker when unplugged

So, I contacted customer service and even sent in a ticket about this, so I thought I fixed it and is more required to send my laptop (I was transported with joy, that I just got my laptop back to Acer less than a month ago.)

I was wrong - and I found the problem only occur when you remove the portable computer from loading. The screen will Flash very subtly... then again... then it would become quite obnoxious that the battery is exhausted. I obviously adjust brightness of the screen when I'm at school and fresh out of my laptop.

Sometimes the flickering stops as soon as I plug, sometimes I have to restart the computer after plugging in it - flicker will exercise for a little while longer, but eventually always disappears completely until I have school the next week, then the process repeats itsself.

We never seen anything like it, or have a preview? I fear that my laptop will have to once more return to the service - blah.

I would say, if you have not already, download and install the latest graphics of the support Web site of for your V3 - 772G Acer driver. Another thing I would do would be to use one of the default power, like balanced or high performance options.

If none of the above suggestions work and as a last resort, I would recommend recharge your computer Acer to factory default. If it does not the problem is most likely a hardware problem. If you set up a repair I would say providing very detailed instructions and how long it takes to reproduce the problem.

  • Aspire V3 772 G overheating

Hi there and a happy new year to all.

My Acer Aspire V3 772 G I bought 18 months ago begins to behave very strangely and I would like to know if anyone has experience that they can share or no solution to offer.

The machine began to run more slowly and I have no idea why. I updated Norton antivirus, a lot of space on the drive hard, defragment the drive and try to keep all software up-to-date.

The other, potentially related question, I is overheating. When I run some online games, the left side of the laptop gets very hot and I checked the temperature at approximately 100 degrees C, then the machine stops without any warning. I already use a stand with a blower.

The only thing I can think of that may be the cause is out-of-date drivers. When I check in the Device Manager it says that all drivers are up to date and this is confirmed when I look on the Acer site. However, when I go to the Intel site it is said that there are more drivers for the integrated graphics card. Should I ignore the information from Acer and install new drivers?

Is there anything else that might cause these problems?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    TobyL,

If you experience slow performance and feel that it is related to overheating, so I will try to clean the vents as if the air flow is limited it can cause poor air circulation which in turn create questions overheating. I recommend a can of condensed air (specific to electronics) and use it to try to blow the dust and accumulate.

Regarding the driver, you can use the Intel graphics driver that can help improve some performance, but we would not be able to provide support for this driver.

If the problem persists, I recommend to contact our technical support in your region for assistance.

  • Acer Aspire V3 722 G several problems due to a BIOS update

As I wrote in the title, I have an Acer Aspire V3 772 G computer laptop and recently he acted strange regarding the overheating and stuttering eventhough I clean it regularly and she should not do any of those at all, I keep everything updated, everything except the BIOS that is, so I searched, I discovered that some people got rid of these same problems with a simple update of the BIOS. So I decided to do the same thing, found good download, made sure it was for my model, but I must have missed something because after the update has been (apparently successful) fact, the computer restarted, but after the Acer splash screen, a message appeared that said 'by default boot device missing or impossible start' and after pressing Enter, it takes me to a screen where I should be able to choose a boot device, but there is no device to choose and the only way out of this is to unplug the laptop and restart it. After many hours of trying to figure out why the update failed and how to recover the BIOS and either try to reinstall the most recent roll to the other older, I accidentally discovered that I could access the BIOS settings part, where I could see the information on the laptop itself and BIOS (curiously It says that the version is the most recent 1.15) and the other parameters such as order of device boot and BIOS password, but some options are grayed out and inaccessible for me (e.g. factory reset). So as soon as now, I don't know if I've messed up in the first place or if it's something completely different (since I wasn't able to find a person who had the same problem) and would be very grateful for any help.

    Thanks in advance

Go into your Bios Startup tab and see if it changed your startup mode.

  • Wireless connection drops after 10-20 seconds on Acer Aspire V3-572 - 56T 3 running Windows 8.1

I have big problems with the network connection Wireless at the office. He sees the network, allows me to enter security credentials, then connects (with connectivity internet confirmed) but gave up after 10-20 seconds. I tried the wireless network to a friend who worked ok without interruption, is certainly nothing wrong with the hardware. I use a brand new Acer Aspire V3 - 572 - T 56, 3 on Windows 8.1, with all the latest drivers/patches loaded and tried to juggle with many advanced settings for the card of network without success. I connected the router to make sure that all the settings, encryption standards, channels etc was corresponding, but the problem is persistent. It has been going on for two days now and is driving me crazy because I really need to work in the office with wifi band. Plug an ethernet cable directly into the router works fine, but it is not the ideal solution (and poses a danger OH & S that he throws on the ground). Can someone help pleeeease!

FYI, I ran diagnosis several times & the only thing that stands out was the following:

    Diagnostic information (wireless connectivity)
    The Association status: 0 x 00038002 failure
    Association reason code: 0x00000002

    Result of diagnosis: problem found
    Question: RNWF MSM Helper Class
Root cause: Windows could not connect to "ERICSSON".
You can try to connect again.

    Result of diagnosis: problem found

    Root cause:
Failed to bind wireless to "ERICSSON".
An answer is not from the router or access point.

    Detailed root cause:
Failed to bind to this network wireless. Windows has not received response from the router or access point wireless.

    Repair option:
Search for the causes of the low wireless signal quality
The signal is weak because of the distance or interference.
Windows Help and Support can provide more information on this problem.

No need, already has the solution (which worked for me):

  • Acer Aspire D255E turns on, displays on screen, then stops in a few seconds

I just bought an Acer Aspire D255E with a cracked screen.  I tested it and it worked fine.  Replaced the screen with a new brand, and the result is that it turns on, shows the opening screen, flashes what looks like the screen you get when you stop abnormally, then powers down.  It if also out tension in all the time even though I have F2 in the BIOS.  Anyone know what is happening here?

    Hello

One of the panels for the Aspire One D255 2677 LCD part numbers is:

    LK.10105.002 - AUO B101AW06 V1 LF 200NIT 8MS 500: 1---> you have the right part.

    You wrote:

"I forgot to take the battery when I first changed the screens, but it does not appear that should hurt anything."

Unfortunately, Yes. If you have a small power surge when you plug in the Panel, you have damaged it.

You can connect an external monitor or an LCD TV using the VGA port. I hope that you have not damaged the neat chipset.

  • Hi, Acer Aspire E15 E51-511-C7PH worked fine for a year, now goes off after a few minutes or seconds

Hi, Acer Aspire E15 E51-511-C7PH turns off, I restart and it turns off again.

I did a reset to the factory settings, restarted in recovery of the system, not good.

Charges of battery, power supply works fine, what is the problem?

    Thank you

As you mentioned that there is no problem with your diet and your battery is also supported, it is likely that your backup battery is down. To check if this is the case, you are advised to build a State of the battery by following the guidelines listed on the link below and see if that helps:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/217010/how-to-generate-a-battery-health-report-on-Windows-8-or-Windows-10/

If you are not able to find something substantial report indicating that there is a problem with the battery, you can consider using another battery of work (if possible) and see if the problem occurs with another battery as well.

Infections of malware and viruses can also cause Windows to stop abruptly. To check and remove the infection, you can scan your system using security software (if any) installed on your system. In addition, you can also follow the guidelines listed on the link below to detect and remove infections:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/does-computer-have-virus#1TC=Windows-7
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/how-find-remove-virus
    https://www.Malwarebytes.org/antimalware/

If the problem persists, we recommend to contact the nearest Acer service center using the link below to check if there is no hardware problem:
    http://us.Acer.com/AC/en/us/content/service

    Hope this will help you.

  • Acer Aspire 772-9829: Probable overheating

    Hello, people.  I need help.

I bought my Acer Aspire 7726-9829 in August 2013 and have had no problems at all until a week and a half.  During the execution of the games, it seems that my computer heats up and affected by a hardware failure. (This only happens when you run games.  Browsing the web or watching movies does not cause the problem.)

At first I thought that it would be power settings, so I picked up a new power supply and set up my computer to 'high performance '. (Which fixed the problems of minor cutting.  The graphics now work perfectly for about five to ten minutes before the computer crashes.)

Can someone in the community point me to resources for the purchase and installation of a replacement for this model fan?  I ' ve already bought a cooling package, which I hope will be enough to solve the problem. "  The thing is, I love this computer a little and do not want to sell it, so hopefully as a member of the community can help me with this information.

    Thank you!

Okay, based on your suggestions and those of a few friends, I did a couple of things.  I used a can of air for the dust from the vents and upgraded to Windows 8.1.

And, to not jump the gun, but I played an hour of Batman: Arkham origins without accidents, it seems this has helped.  My temperature maxing out at 77 and runs between 35 and 45 degrees when normal activities.  According to monitoring RealTemp, my thermal status is correct.

I'll keep this thread in my favorites as I met other problems.  Thanks for the help.
