  • Print only comments

    Is it possible to print the comments only continuously, not one per page?  I have a lot of short comments and need to print these on a few leaves.

    I saw a similar question of 2010 with one answer, which suggests Java script, but no link or details, and unfortunately I do not know how to do this.

    I tried several possibilities including the conversion in Word, but this translates into individual pages as well.  Also, PDF in a header page numbers, is not likely to replace the "section break - new page' with just a line break!  I tried to use small paper size to print multiple pages on a single sheet, but each page shrinks so that it is unreadable.  Is it possible to put several pages on a sheet without reduction of the original font size?

    Thanks for any help.  With the help of Acrobat X Pro under Windows XP Pro.

    The best way to do is by the script of a new PDF report. Open the console (ctrl-J) JS, clear it, and then paste the following code:

    this.syncAnnotScan ();

    var a = this.getAnnots ();

    If (a) {}

    var = new Rep Report();

    Rep.size = 1.8;

    Rep.Color = color.blue;

    rep.writeText ("summary of comments to" + this.documentFileName);

    Rep.Color = color.black;

    rep.writeText("");

    Rep.size = 1.2;

    rep.writeText ("Total of" + a.length + "comments in this file");

    rep.writeText("");

    rep.writeText("");

    Rep.Indent (20);

    var msg = '\200 page %s of %s of % s ';

    for (var i = 0; i)< a.length;="" i++)="">

    rep.writeText("");

    rep.writeText (util.printf (msg, 1 + a [i] .page, .author, a [i], a [i], .creationDate));

    Rep.Indent (20);

    rep.writeText (a [i] .silence);

    Rep.Outdent (20);

    }

    var docReport = rep.open ("commentSummary.pdf");

    docReport.info.Title = "summary of comments for" + this.documentFileName;

    }

    Select all and press ENTER on your keypad (or ctrl + return on the main keyboard). A new PDF will appear with all of your comments. You can customize the code to determine how the report is laid out, see the Acrobat SDK SDK documentation for what are the commands, but it is relatively easy to get out of the example above.

    You can also remove the code in Action (by using a JavaScript step) and set the Action to perform on the current file.

  • How to print only commented pages

    There is a built-in function to print only the pages that contain comments (Reader Acrobat X)?

    If not, does anyone know an alternative solution for this?

    Good day

    Eki

    Not with the reader. You could do this with Acrobat via JavaScript and tools.

  • Acrobat 8 print old version of a file?

    We have an Adobe Acrobat document that has changed recently with a new logo and additional text on the form.  When a user opens the form with Acrobat 8, the shape looks good, but when you click on the button print, an OLDER version of the file opens in the print preview windows and actually prints on the printer of the old way.  Old watch old logo and no text added etc.  If you open the same file in Reader 9, it seems to work fine however. Obviously, we can simply use Reader 9 to work around the problem, but we would rather just this work properly in Acrobat.

    Anyone has an idea why this is happening?  I heard that happened in this office before, but I do not know what they were doing to fix and can't reproduce them on another machine.

    Thanks in advance

    I was wondering - how was the PDF "up-to-date"?

    If this was done using a field button for the logo and a text field for the new default text, none of this print in paper format.

    Top right of the print dialog box, there is a drop-down menu with choices for printing comment annotations, etc.

    Be well...

  • How to print the article without printing all comments

    I like some of the articles I find on many Firefox news and I like to print them and send them to my friends who do not have the chance to have a computer. The problem is when I try to print the article, it does not stop when the article is finished but continues to print, sometimes nine or ten pages of comments using the way to much ink, for the comments I did not even want. How can I print only the article without comment? I know that this is probably a personal computer and printing skills but someone can help me?

    First thing is to look for a print or printer ready on the Web page button. On the web pages stretch on several pages many times, there is a link at the bottom of section to View Pages or View the entire Article. Problem with the help of these is that the images are usually deleted, only the text of the article is printed. Useless if you want to print is a step by step 'how to' article where images are needed.

    Second, I use the add-on print change to see a preview of what will be printed, and change what I want not printed.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/print-edit/

    Not necessary, but Adblock Plus and NoScript are useful, too.

    NoScript blocks generally comments of appearing even in the title of an article, and Adblock Plus will block most advertisements on page load, resulting in much less to change when you go to print web pages.

  • Acrobat documents print all black

    Our 'workhorse' LJ 5if has been with us for YEARS - and has almost always been able to do everything...

    This 5if has a JetDirect Ethernet connection on our local area network and all prints him regularly... it gets a lot of use...

    But now we suddenly have a recurring 'new issue' with ONLY ONE OF OUR EIGHT COMPUTERS (!).

    Suddenly, it seems that each document Acrobat "PFD" he tries to print generates a page that is totally black point of being unreadable... coverage of 100% (except the margin areas)...  As this user has described: «as dark as the black cat in a coal mine in midnight...» ».

    Mysteriously, this also happens when it prints to our other printer "workhorse", a HP LJ 8500 color laser... so it is obviously something to do with THIS PC and PCL drivers for these two lasers, as NONE of the seven other PC has this problem...  They all can print without problems both of these printers.

    They can print the same documents that this PC cannot...

    And yet, a cantankerous old HP LJ 4 prints like a gem... every time... from the same PC.  (PCL 5 vs PCL4...?)

    We have tried to 'update' the HP PCL drivers (after all first try the drivers Microsoft 'default', then we downloaded new drivers of HP), we tried the Acrobat upgrade, we tried EVERYTHING UN-installing this (as well as Acrobat printer drivers), we tried to uninstall and remove all records for both partners - we even tried to create a new user account...  Looks like nothing works...

    I am about to "blow out" Windows and reinstall EVERYTHING (and it is a DEMORALIZING, probably... task as an architectural firm, there is a lot of software to re - load), so before I resort to this 'last resort scenario', I thought I would post a "HELP!" here and see if anyone has a clue as to what the Devil's going on here...

    I REALLY the don "t hope to spend the next 10 hours re-building Windows XP Pro and the configuration of the software on this workstation...

    Even if this PC is less than one year (Core2-Duo @ 2.66 GHz, 4 GB of RAM DDR2, HDD 250GB RAID - 1, etc), I'd rather buy a NEW PC quite that spend my time to rebuild this Windows operating system and all the software...  Yee-gods!

    Help...?

    So from my understanding, printing only from the Acrobat of a PC for 2 different HP LaserJet causes pages out of the black.

    Print test ok pages?

    pages printing ok other applications?

    It's probably a matter of adobe, probably some sort of conflict with an update or something, have you tried slowly roll back updates of windows on a date where the printer was working?

    The only other off-site thing I can think of is a really funky network problem or bad cable but that should theoretically make all requests.

    Good luck, but I think you look a complete uninstall/reinstall if the removal of the driver/app has not resolved.

  • How can install acrobat 8 print in windows 8.1?

    I've seen others who could not print to PDF when you use Acrobat 8 Standard and Windows 8.1.  Is there a solution?

    Yes: upgrade to Acrobat XI.

  • Acrobat XI, shortcuts missing comment, osx mountain lion

    It has been the case with Acrobat X, that when you make a comment on a PDF file, we would be able to use keyboard shortcuts to speed things up.

    For example, we could choose a point and hit the ' ~' key "insert text at the cursor" or the button "delete" to a "blocked" and so on. It seems that

    with XI Acrobaat several of these shortcuts keyboard (but not all, of "always seems to work) have disappeared.

    Is - this intentional?

    Also, to be honest, I was really looking forward to update Acrobat XI of the improved capabilities of tagging a PDF. It seems that all the effort has entered into

    things like edit a PDF file, but is not at all how to use PDF. I'm almost always the original source of a PDF document, or if I don't have, what I want

    to do is tagging a PDF (with comments, or with ink using a wacom), and if anything the features to do this (as mentioned in the first paragraph

    been before) in reverse.

    Finally, I do everything under osx mountain lion, I should say.

    Thank you.

    We received a lot of questions from customers about the behavior in X a. so in A XI, we made changes that keyboard shortcuts to add comments to text correction only work if "Marking of fixed text" (icon on the right in the second row of the Annotations Panel) is selected or active.

  • Acrobat PDF printer hangs in Windows 8

    Printer Hang.pngI am running Windows 8 Enterprise RTM 64 bit on a 3rd generation of Intel i7-3770 CPU, chipset Z77. I found that most of the PDF printers I've used on Windows 7 now hang on 8, including the printer Acrobat X (latest version). I found a free alternative that works very well, but I would go back to using the Acrobat printer. Adobe will release an update that resolves the blow?

    Above is a screenshot of total more than ten minutes:

    Got, it works. Here is the configuration in printer properties that just printed out OK in Word 2010 and CorelDraw X 6. Will have to try other programs:

    The change was to make the final spooled print ONCE. (Hang by default start printing immediately?). In addition, this time I checked activate printing advanced features, that I had not tried before. (I had also turned on some features of IIS, but cannot see that would have been a factor).

    Am really happy to get this resolved!

  • Print with comments summary

    I submitted this via twitter May 14. @Adobe_Care without a @adobe contract refers me to the directions of support online there are incorrect using the products im. what should I do?  @Adobe_Care adobeReader9. Try to "summarize comments" when printing. directions indicate something different than what I see. http://t.co/Cedxu9nr (screenshot).  I was told "@ty_frank Hi Andy, please send us your question here: http://adobe.ly/zlvcQI our experts would like to help! Thank you. ↑ Bing"

    I should add that, if it is not apparently available in Reader 9, Reader X seems to have the functionality as described.

  • 10.1.3 Acrobat pdf printer driver is missing

    Just noticed that my pdf print driver is missing in action.  Win 7 x 64.  What I tried:

    1. reinstall Acrobat X Pro

    2. installation printer manually as described here

    No results.

    It could be related to a 10.1.3 update but I'm not 100% sure.  I have a laptop, very similarly configured on the desktop, it's over and 10.1.3 and PDF printer is still there.

    Thank you very much!

    EDIT: also, perhaps that someone can tell me how to remove Adobe Fireworks?  It seems that I installed it accidentally when you reinstall Acrobat.  It is not in Add/Remove programs.  I installed via installer CS Design Premium 5.5.

    I had the same problem. I fixed it.

    I lost the option to print Adobe PDF. And could not manually restore without errors.

    I tried everything and nothing worked. Then I noticed that I had the drive on YOUR computer as well. So, I uninstalled DRIVE and repair ACROBAT.

    So:

    (1) make sure that you remove / uninstall all versions of READER on your PC.

    (2) then repair ACROBAT.

    Good luck.

  • Why can't I create a good performance of Acrobat to print from Lightroom in Win 7?

    I have two computers: an older XP laptop computer with many applications and an old Win7 dedicated workstation for 6 months for a photography work.  Everyone has Acrobat 10.1.0 and Lightroom installed 3.4.1.

    Sometimes I print proof of batches of photos using Lightroom Print, print to Adobe PDF.

    On XP, I have never had trouble printing an Acrobat PDF from Lightroom.

    On Win7, I NEVER was able to print a good PDF Acrobat from Lightroom.  A PDF file is produced that is readable and contains all the text expected properly prepared in the planned grid (names, page numbers), but it contains only a fraction of the photos, anywhere between zero and a significant percentage.  Each photo that appears is actually complete and not partial.  If I re - run the print job, sometimes different photos materialize than last time. The number of photos in the batch seems to make no difference to the result - also very small batches have the problem.

    Something more - it takes that long in Lightroom to print format PDF as you would expect, in other words, it seems to be made each appropriate photo.

    I'm stumped on how to solve this problem.  I reinstalled Acrobat and Lightroom, and during the last 6 months since I have this machine, I was setup one-time release of these two products, any combination of which worked for me.

    Any tips on what I can do about it?

    This was identified as a problem in Acrobat and in the system for a fix.

    Thanks to cross barriers and reports.

  • Acrobat contains printer drivers?

    Hi all

    I'm at work often the 'quick-IT support"If someone has a problem with any program, but especially the suite Adobe, even if I'm 'just' a graphic designer.

    This goes especially for the suite CS5 for now that we have purchased and had installed by our Joe.

    Specifically, I asked that my pc was formatted completely before the CS5 installation since I have this one succeeded to another person who had a lot of things on the machine that I didn't need and which might cause errors of program etc, I could practically exclude.

    However, our TI-guy apparently is - say - 'in a hurry' and installed CS5 on three other pc outside my own in my company WITHOUT first removing more CS1 old and original that we used until then (talk about the possibility of program errors).

    As hear my last paragraphs, it did not take too long until our marketing manager asked me if I could come and help out with a problem - print in Adobe InDesign. Among other things, we use the develop Ineo + 452 for some of our impressions of base.

    http://www.develop.de/en/products/office_products/101__produkte-detail.htm

    This copy-machine has a driver no PostScript which enhances the prints in a - for me - what many drivers of printer in a very basic way to do and which can be downloaded from the site (US print via intranet/network of the enterprise that is wired).

    After you fix the printing problem, I realized that our marketing director printer driver has a few features that grayed out on my pc and pc another colleague could be selected and worked properly. I told my boss and she said if I could update the driver. However as we are highly networked and seems to have network administration special with respect to pilots the TI-guy who I contacted said he wanted to update itself we agreed.

    The next day I asked my boss, she says that our big Joe had not installed the printer, but updated the old Adobe Reader/Acrobat (who he apparently has or had installed for her since "to be pressed") with the new Adobe Reader/Acrobat of the newly acquired CS5 package.

    When I asked him why he had done so and not updated the driver printer for copy of Ineo machine + 452, she said that our TI-guy has stated that the update of these programs contain also all printer latest drivers.

    I'm a little confused as to how this should be possible or if it is true that I have NEVER heard someone NEVER new or old drivers included in Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

    Can someone shed light on this or support/miscredit this information?

    All answers are appreciated!

    No, you can have several installed antivirus programs, or other programs that are in competition with each other, but the Adobe applications, for the most part, do not fall into this category. Adobe programs other Acrobat (at least those that are used for printing) to install in their own directories and do not damage the previous facility.

    I have InDesign since version 2 of CS5, Photoshop after I think version 7 front and Illustrator from the front of the 10 version (Photoshop and Illustrator have not the same problems of backward compatibility as InDesign, so I didn't install older versions during the construction of this machine, just a not remove anything in place during upgrades). I am currently running Acrobat 9 Pro and no version of the reader, but in the past have had early versions of the player on your computer with a full version of Acrobat without any noticeable problems, even if Adobe definitely do recommend it not (for Acrobat), and I have not tried to do it for a number of years.

    You should not, however, install out of use for the best results, so to install CS after CS5 wouldn't be not a good idea (remove CS5 first, then install both again in the order), and uninstall older versions after installing a new, it is well known to cause trouble in the ID, so there is no valid reason to uninstall CS of these machines where it was left in place.
