  Hello

  I'm the animation with Toon Boom that unfortunately has no SVG export.

  The only supported vector SWF and PDF formats, but I really need SVG.

  So my idea was frames to export as PDF and batch convert to SVG afterwards.

  I know that Illustrator is basically capable of that it has a very wide range of file format compatibility, but I guess it must be done via the script and I have no idea on the scripts.

  When searching Google and the forums here, I thought that most people need or vice versa (SVG in PDF format) or with any other formats.

  The only script that would meet my needs most is this:

  who's GOT to SVG, but I thought that maybe we can change it.

  I am already using Inkscape (and I've installed Inkscape for only that one of the reasons) + a shell script I found, but it is quite awkward.

  I'm sure the script you have access to will do the job. Just insert the file type in this line:

  Hi all

  I have Adobe Acrobat Pro. I use action tool export batch than several (approx. 425 individual pdf) pdf to TIFF format files. My problem is the resulting TIFF images are of low resolution, and I do not know how to set the export settings to get Adobe to export it to 600 dpi or more.

  If I jump the batch and each pdf file manually I can actually adjust the settings to 600 dpi, but I have too many files to do it manually. Also, if I use the feature to "combine files", bring all within a multi-page pdf, then export to TIFF: I can set it to 600 dpi, but then each file exported with a different file name. Example: "MAP5" gets exported as 'Page x of x' so I would rename of 425 files to their original file name.

  In the category 'Convert to PDF' of preferences, you can specify the resolution.

• Batch Conversion PDF 1.4 to 1.8 with extension "allowing additional functions.

  Hoping someone can help me with this. I am not able in Acrobat.  I have thousands of PDF files that are 1.4 that I need to convert to 1.8 and have the user to be able to use the form fields and sign with Acrobat Reader 9.

  Interface us with these pages on the web. I use ColdFusion Builder CS5 to prepopulate some fields of the form to PDF pages when they come up on top of the web, and then the user fills in the rest.  So far, we have been using Adobe v 5 (1.4) and push the upgrade.  Most of the users are now on Reader 9 so I need to get this update done.  I use Acrobat X.  My theory was to use the Action Wizard, make Adobe PDF my printer by default - by ensuring that it is implemented to convert standard - 1, 8. Using the Action Wizard, set up the directory where all PDFs currently initially reside with "A folder on my computer" then as a step, use the 'printer '.  While the step 3 save for: "a folder on my computer:" Just another destination folder where it can back up the files then converted.  It does not convert the files to the new version but my problem is to do without the "Additonal features activation. Users cannot use the form features or sign of Reader 9.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  

  Acrobat does not support automating the process of extension of the detector by any method. This is a feature that Adobe book only for their range of LiveCycle server products.

  I need to batch convert multiple OCR-readable pdf documents. I have to be able to walk away from my computer and have Adobe Acrobat to make all OCR conversions independently.

  In order to implement this action, I did the following:

  Tools-> Wizard of Action-> create new Action

  I created an action called "Batch Conversion of rock"

  By this action, I did the following:
  Recognize text-> recognize text using OCR

  and I added this to the steps of the Action show.

  I made the default action "add a folder".

  I unchecked "questioning the user.

  Now, each document is prompting me to "Save" with the following message:

  "Do you want to save changes to * *.pdf before closing?
  The dialog box is demanding a response before moving on to the next for the conversion file.

  As I said, this procedure must operate independently and should not be dependent on a save the file"" command.
  How do I:

  (a) automatically save each file at the time of the conversion?

  (b) set up the conversion in batches and converts (and registers) a number of files on its own?

  But I think I have an idea why this is happening. In general, I use Distiller to convert EPS or PS files as PDF files. In addition, almost without fault, I incorporate the required (only of Type 1) fonts directly in files EPS/PS (using the required format to PFA) so no local fonts on my computer are needed to be looked at to distill in to be embedded in the file PDF. they are already in the EPS/PS files.

  But yesterday, I tried to convert EPS/PS files to PDF using Distiller in which I had NOT embedded fonts Type 1 (PFA format, of course) in the source of EPS/PS files. All first this conversion would work (in which I select "open" and choose an EPS/PS file for conversion), but after this initial conversion, the * SECOND * time I clicked "Open" the file, Distiller would immediately close/crash.

  Then, I searched the web for answers and discovered that some people have trouble distilling to initialize if all their computer system fonts were read-only. So I went back to my EPS/PS files and embedded fonts Type 1 (PFA format) required in them and then - as if by magic - distill worked without a hitch: I could open and convert any number of them in succession, with distilling never close / crashing.

  Then, I found the reason why distilling had been crashing at the second attempted to open a file (once again, simply by pressing the "open" button to find a file to convert, * no * after selecting a file) must have something to do with distilling scanning fonts installed on my computer, when there was no PFA font incorporated to make reference to , and a read only font on my system was the cause of the problem. However, I have looked in both places of logic where my fonts must be located (c:\psfonts and c:\windows\fonts), but found * no. attributes * files fonts defined in 'read only' so, I'm stumped.

  I use Distiller Pro 10.1.1316 (acrodist.exe) on a machine to earn 8.1. I found similar positions, which dates back to 2004, about Distiller crashing immediately after opening when certain fonts are read-only; I haven't found a post about anyone successfully using Distiller to convert EPS or PS to PDF and then have the program crash when the "Open" button is pressed subsequently. The clues, anyone?

  Background: Distiller Server is a product discontinued long - ago - use of Distiller server is now simply prohibited, and LiveCycle PDF Generator is available for servers.

  Since you are not using Distiller Server and this forum is essentially abandoned, I recommend that you try the Acrobat - forum creation (etc.) instead.

  I have a pdf form. I need to convert it to doc because I use Goldmine CRM to merge or insert fields in the doc.

  The easiest way for me is if I can simply consider each page of the PDF as an image and convert the pdf file into a word document composed by images. Each page of the word document is an image.

  Then I can use an overlay with transparent textbox to insert the fields at my convenience.

  You know a method to do this with the results and a good resolution?

  Export pages as images is possible via the file > save as menu in Acrobat, but I don't see why you want to do. Acrobat can save a PDF file as a Word document ordinary.

  Adobe Acrobat can convert a webpage to PDF format or by using the browser plugin or the Create button in the Acrobat toolbar.

  Adobe Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows 10.

  It may or may not work properly with this OS.

  I would also like to inform you that it is an older version and not support the Adobe Acrobat application.
